Was just in here and the male employee was not wearing a mask and conversing about how ineffective masks are because viruses are too small with a patron that was also unmasked.

Who knew there was so much action at the corner of Fillmore and Jackson? I sure didn't. If I ever open up a business near this corner, I'm going to name it Action at the Corner of Fillmore and Jackson. It's not really relevant to what I'm talking about, but I'm going to end up digressing anyway, so I might as well tell you now, right? This corner is home to the 3, 10, 22, and 24 bus lines. I've always known that the 22 and the 24 cross here, and I guess I vaguely knew about the 3, but the 10? I hadn't even ridden that bus until a few weeks back, and I'm a total Muni nerd.Anyway, I had taken one of these buses--the 22?--and was going to transfer to the 24. Because of how the bus stops are set up and because this is the end (or beginning) of the 24 line, you can see whether there's a bus waiting. I saw an idle 24, and from a lot of end-of-the-line 38-Geary experience, I know that these guys wait a long time sometimes. I figured I had enough time to duck in to Gino's to get a soda, and while I was waiting in a one-man line to pay, I saw the 24 go by.That should have angered me, but it was cool. Gino is quite a nice man. And he was chopping it up with some other Giants fan. I hate the Giants, but it's basically impossible to hold it against a guy in his hometown, and I do think familiarity with regular customers is a key corner-store-proprietor trait. The place is very clean and has a more extensive selection than I expected. Good job, Gino. If for some reason I end up here a few more times--and I've actually switched buses at this corner more times in the past month than I had in the previous seven years combined--I might bump it up to five stars.

Tucked inside a nondescript corner store was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.I had a feeling it was going to be something special when I asked for a wheat roll. The friendly lady helping me, seeing they had none, pulled a loaf that was for sale and cut off a portion to make my sandwich. What a move. On that roll was an insane amount of turkey, and a layer of delicious house hummus at no charge. Not only was it incredible, but for $5, exceptionally well priced. Sandwiches are only available on weekdays. Go.

This store is amazing. What else is open late in pac heights? The falafels are amazing and the tahini sauce just makes it a party in your mouth. Pause. And if you're feeling thirsty, they have a wide alcohol selection to wet your whistle. If you ever happen to see a younger guy behind the counter, talk to him about seinfeld. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of every episode.

Gino is knowingly selling beer that has been expired for over a year. When We informed Gino of this issue he stated, "yeah... why did you think it was on sale?"Needless to say we were not impressed with this place.

They have a good variety of the Djarum Cloves here. Not just the Regulars or Blacks that can be found almost anywhere. That gives it immediately 4 stars.

So convenient. I work down the street and coming here to grab snacks are the best. My co workers always pre order the Sandwiches and pick it up on the way to work. I did it once and it was pretty good. Cheap, quick, and great portion! Min charge on the card I think it's $5. Bring cash or get stuff worth up to $5.

Went there to see a small group of three maskless people talking at the entrance. Skirted around them and went in. Made a few selections. One of the maskless group came in and started talking on his phone. Then he went behind the counter to ring me up. I asked where his mask was. He pointed to the plexiglass separator and said a mask is not needed. I asked how the plexiglass shields his hands from touching my items and shields his mouth from breathing on them when he rings them up.Left my purchases without buying anything. Now this was a young man with dark hair. First time I'd seen him. The times I have gone before the older gentleman, always masked and smiling with his eyes, was there. Someone should give the know-it-all young clerk a good talking to.
