Bitter melon. Appreciate the Asian vegetables they sell here for a bargain.

Oh my gosh this little Asian grocery store is a hidden gem! If you like to cook and eat your veggies, most of their leafy produce is the freshest I've ever seen. Bargain prices too! It is a small store with some Asian staples such as condiments, canned goods, snacks and dried noodles. I first learned from this store from my hair dresser on Ocean Ave. Ever since then I've been coming here whenever I have lunch in the area. Best to come early as they don't really restock their produce once they are sold out for that day. They also sometimes have $1-$2 bags of produce by the cashier that should be consumed quickly. They are CASH ONLY. There's a Chase ATM near by.

A mini Chinese grocery store that has limited produce and no meats, or seafood, just noodles, canned, dry groceries, spices, condiments, cookies, candies, etc. They put the word lucky is one would be lucky to find their item that is cheaper than other places one time a month.

Really fresh fruit and veggies. They have lots of sauces and condiments, 1000 year old eggs, salted duck eggs, noodles, dried beans, a variety of tofu. The owner is really friendly and nice. They also have fresh young coconuts for $2 that the owner will open up for you on the spot for a nice refreshing beverage. Great mom and pop shop!

This is your standard mom & pop Asian grocery store. It does not carry meats and seafood but it definitely is worth the trip. Always fresh selection of produce, friendly owner who makes small talk and knows his regulars, and has everything a typical Asian household would need to cook. There's another Asian grocery store down the street , but its not as good/ friendly as this one. That one may be larger since there's a meat/ seafood section but I'm not sure I'd trust buying meat there ( set up is kind of cramped).I lived down the street and I could easily buy a ton of fruits, veggies for a week or more under 8$ while my roomies are spending way more at Safeway or trader joes. Yes its an ethnic grocery store but honestly doesn't everyone love a good deal?

G & Z primarily sells condiments and dried goods used in Asian cooking. Also, the store carries a small number of Asian produce and in season fruits.Despite the small store front, quality of produce here is a lot better than expected. Everything is also very affordably priced. As an example, bok choy is less than $1/lb, rice vinegar is priced at $1.49. Family run business and very sweet owners. Closed on Sundays.
