been wanting to try their fish and finally splurged and did.. I ordered for delivery and it got to my home around 4pm. Purchased tuna, salmon and hamachi all sushi grade. I make my own ponzu with their yuzu kosho. Paired my meal with their ginger and a few of my own pairings. it's sooo goood. I have enough to probably eat 2-3 more times and cannot wait! thank you four star seafood & provisions

We ordered the "Fish Only" version of the Grand Sushi/Sashimi Kit, and this was so much fish! The "Fish Only" version includes the following sashimi-grade items:- 1 lb Yellowfin Tuna- 100 g California Uni tray- 1/2 lb Ora King Salmon- 1/2 lb Albacore- 1/2 lb Kampachi- 2 oz cured Salmon RoeEverything was fresh and delicious, and the photo I uploaded was dinner for two, and only half of what the "Fish Only" kit included. We loved eating it as sashimi, and ate the other half as poke for our next meal (see second photo). The only tricky part was that some pieces of fish still had skin on, so some knife skills are required for this, and there were a few bones despite best intentions to remove. Definitely recommend this kit if you're up for a little DIY, and would say it feeds 2 people 2 meals, or 4 people in one sitting!Considering the amount, quality, and variety, well worth the price tag of $125 for the "Fish Only" version.

The only place I'll get my seafood. Always fresh and the highest quality. Love the Ora King Salmon. The hamachi tuna, black cod, scallops, crab and oysters also are great.

Our only seafood delivery service throughout the pandemic. ( more than 2 years now) wow We found Five star seafood, a famous fancy restaurant supplier..because it was recommend by one of my foodie friends who loves cooking . ( pre pandemic ) You will enjoy high end sashimi to local wild caught fish ! Four star seafood delivers within the week for free if you purchase a minimum of $100 during pandemic shut down. If they are tending to their previous clientele I think the minimum for free delivery costs more . The seafood or meat delivery comes packed in dry ice and is secure for the day in case you are at work. The delivery truck texts you so you know when it will arrive. ( very very reliable) Best of all, everyone I grill, pan fry boil or bbq seafood it is high quality .... as if I am in a high end seafood restaurant ... or sushi bar Highly highly recommend

Ok...note if you select delivery...you have no idea when delivery comes during the day. Updating the review because with having two delivery.... THIS fish is EXCEPTIONAL!!!! QUALITY of product delivered is noteworthy...ie EXCEPTIONAL!!! Latest box included wild king salmon, oysters, butter fish, monk fish.....all EXCEPTIONAL! Fish ius sfo fresh and FANTASTIC....amidst makes you wonder what these resturaunts normally serve us. so.I'm sick...sick of cooking...but this food encourages me to keep going. excellent quality food...also appreciate the company packaging...extremely convenient 6oz pieces. The ice cream was packed in a separate bag of ice. Q U A L I T YI'm not a good home cook which is why I usually leave it to the professionals but the products Four Star Seafood sells make it easy to make delicious, healthy, and restaurant quality food at home. The fish is incredibly fresh and pristine. I pan-fried a Ora King Salmon Filet (sustainable) when I got home with just a sprinkling of salt to medium-rare and it was great...savory soft, buttery, and delicately flaky. updated from 2 stars to 4 stars: the product was ultimately refunded.******I ordered two pounds of Ramps. The ramps' bulbs have turned brown and some start getting filmy. Also a few leaves are turning yellow.I contacted the store, providing photos(taken shortly after the package arrived) and was told "We sell it to restaurants all the time. They are not bad and this is very normal." I disagree. I've had much fresher ones before.

The first time I purchased the Paella Kit in July, it was great! All ingredients came nicely packed, instructions were detailed, and our paella came out beautiful and delicious!! Came back for our second paella kit (yes it was THAT good!) a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed with the kit. It looked like it was packed haphazardly, with the container of frozen lobster broth cracked and broken, leaking into the plastic bag. I called Four Star about this and was told I should still use the broth but to strain it first for broken plastic pieces which was my main concern. Really??! No offer to replace it or an option for credit.I would highly suggest anyone who is purchasing items to make sure you open up the box and check each item to make sure all is in good condition.

I ordered $350 worth of seafood to be delivered to Wyoming as a thank you for my nephew, who has done great service to the family.Four Star inputted the wrong delivery address, so this was a day late arriving. Meanwhile, I contacted Four Star who had already received a detailed email. I wish I had the man's name, but I don't. He had researched the issue, gave me a rundown of the current status, and hung up on me before I could ask more questions or receive clarification.Disgusting service for a special gift. I will no longer do business there and they have lost a customer. I deserve an apology, not rudeness for their mistake. Disgusting, demeaning, rude. Their storied customer service is now in the outhouse.
