Fort Mason Market & Deli

Fantastic location deli/ market in SF. Super personable staff and great selection of adult drinks. Definitely better to walk over if possible as parking can be a little tuff. Prices were a little higher than elsewhere but that's SF for you.

Huge, delicious, gourmet sandwiches for a reasonable price in SF? Sign me up! I work in San Francisco, and am always looking for a new place to stuff my face. SF has an over abundance of sandwich spots, so the competition is real. I've driven by this establishment numerous times at night (can't miss the green light), but never knew they had amazing sandis. I like that the store is off the beaten path (slightly off of Lombard), thus, no crazy wait or lines. It's also located in a neighborhood which makes parking more adequate. I also didn't have to worry about my windows being bashed out. I arrived at the establishment just slightly after noon, and was greeted by the lady working the deli counter. She was friendly, and she washed her hands. Their menu is large-- they offer quite a few different sandwiches, burgers, salads, and piroshkis. I decided to go with a provolone cheese sandwich on a sourdough roll with jalapeños, mustard, lettuce and tomatoes. AMAZING. The presentation was gorgeous, and wrapped perfectly for the person on the go. Though the establishment is a small, corner market, they really pack it well with many assorted drinks, chips, booze, cigs, and candy. Highly recommend for a reasonably priced sandwich if in the Marina/Cow Hollow area.

Very conveniently located corner store with great value sandwiches and solid beer selection. The lady who works here is the best and someone I look forward to seeing every time I go.

Staff is friendly. Great for booze on your way to the park or grabbing snacks. The prices are a little high but common for the area. Not sure how fresh the food is...

There's an old Russian guy who works here - nice guy. There's also a younger Russian guy who works here and he's a total jerk. I walked in here at 9:55 to buy some sweets for my gf. Texted her some pics of the products and he started harassing me to buy something or get.out immediately because he needed to close. I was in the store for less than 10 minutes. He literally told me "for a pint of ice cream... Just get the hell out of my store." A _ _hole. I live 2 blocks away, but I'll never shop here again.

I went in here to get a frozen burrito from a two year old and he said that I was not smart for feeding my child fast food and that he would not warm it up for me. I am shocked!

This used to be my go to spot since I've lived across the streets for 2.5 years....well not anymore. I attempted to buy a water and only had a $100 bill. The guy was rude and berated me telling me that even if I had purchased something he doesn't have to give me change. After a verbal altercation which included him screaming at me about change, I left and went around the corner to make my purchase. Walking back to my home, the owner is outside smoking a cigarette, and proceeds to scream at me telling me how dare I, and other profanity. Not really sure how attempting to purchase something with a $100 bill deserved to be treated the way I had been--especially since I'm a "regular." Oh yeah, and all their food is old and rotten (even candy is past its code date). See you never fort mason market.

Incorrect/outdated hours and reviews. Closed when reported open. Reviews are years old. Wasted our time. Wassup????

This is my first Yelp review, I felt it was my duty after yet another abrasive and sarcastic comment by the cashier. The man who works here in the evenings (middle-aged, heavy Eastern European accent I presume) is genuinely mean, and will go out of his way to be rude to customers. If you want to restore your faith in humanity, please support the deli (Rutily's) down the street instead of this place.I've seen him be abrasive to 2-3 people and scare them out of the store (I've only been to the deli 5 times). This guy deserves zero of any of our business. Once again, please support Rutily's one block down the street. They treat people well there...

Love living nearby, they always have what I need in a pinch. Only 4/5 because I wish they open earlier
