Rude cashier who wouldn't even help me find some gluten free products. He needs to be fired ASAP!! The products are average and extremely overpriced! I did find a bottle of Fetzer for $9.99 which is why I'm giving it 1 star.

The two gentlemen I dealt with were extremely helpful and pleasant. I asked for a wine recommendation and one gentleman was very helpful. Also a variety of all items.

I love this market and am very happy to have it so close to my home. The staff is awesome, even protecting my son and I when there was a crazy druggie outside. They have so much food and drink options, it's fantastic. My only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is sometimes they don't open on time in the AM.

Gayle and I were walking back from Kung Pao Kosher Comedy and decided to walk above the Stockton Tunnel rather than through it. We were looking for a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel and stumbled upon the Food Fair Market. I don't think were in here long enough to form a full opinion of this market. This may truly be a one-stop shopping experience for what seems like a very well-run corner store.I thought they had an extensive wine selection for a market of this size and we easily found something we liked. The guy at the counter was pleasant and we were on our way in no time.

This place is ridiculous I was walking with my little sister today and popped in around 7:15 today to pick up cigarettes for myself and because she walked in with me he immediately asked to see her ID, I let her know she's not buying anything she my little sister who is underage and visiting me from Los Angeles so she is in my care and he then refused to sell anything stating it's the law to card everyone you walk in with, I'm pretty sure it's whoever is handling the alcohol/cigarettes must be carded. Will not be giving this liquor store any of my business in the future as I don't want to deal with any hassles if I have someone walking in with me.

For YEARS my best friend and his wife has lived across the this market! They have been weekly shoppers here forever investing a majority of their income here shopping. Every time I visited them (which was a lot) we came here to shop. 2 years ago they moved to Virginia and today I was in town taking a video of this place with a smile to send a video to them how it is now compared to when they use to frequently shop here and the guy behind the register SCOLDED me not to film in the store. Instead of asking me what I was filming for I would have explained to him what I was doing in there filming he would have smiled once I told him the names of my friends who moved away. And maybe he would have told me to tell them he said hi. Instead he took to anger and hatred on me like im trying to do something bad to the place. I know you are reading this and need to go to anger management. Im going to tell my friends what an asshole this guy became. And if you are reading this guy. Eat Shit. I have been taking videos of bars and business my friends use to frequent all day and sending them to my friends in Virginia and the workers there were all happy except you dick head!

The absolute worst shopping experience of my life. Cashier behind the counter (male with widow's peak) is extremely RUDE and RACIST. We were discussing the ability to return expired merchandise from the store and he said "I don't know where you are from, but in this country you cannot return things after leaving the store." ...I've lived in the U.S. for the last 30 yearsHe also often tries a trick where he says he doesn't hear you say you want a bag, then after you check out says you need to spend another $5 minimum if you want to pay with credit card for the bag. All in all, I have never had such a negative shopping experience in my life. I shouldn't have my ethnicity insulted if I want a refund on a 3 month expired goods. If you read this, there are plenty of decent shops less than a block away. Please check them out instead.

This place is fine if you're in a rush and have no other options (but really, there's like 5 corners stores within a 2 block radius). I've lived basically next door to this place for over 10 years and go here ALL the time (I'm a masochist I guess...). The customer service here is atrocious. They're always SUPER rude to me and again, I'm a regular here. I hate going here and have finally started branching out to other stores in an attempt to stop giving these turds my money.Ignoring the awful customer service, most of their refrigerated produce is fine but avoid their non-refrigerated produce (onions, garlic, etc)! They're always moldy when I open them up.Prices are grossly expensive, but I guess expected for an SF corner store? I should really stop going here.

I wouldn't even give this store 1 star. Completely unprofessional and rude. This place has to be the most rudest store I have ever been too. The store clerk is literally afraid of his own shadow and takes every little thing ( like blinking your eye) personal. Kicked me out for showing him my ID that he asked to see. Straight up - bull. I feel racially profiled. And disrespected
