Fog City Java

What can I say? This is a cute little family run shop! My Girlfriends and I stopped on our first day in Pacifica on our way tot Muir Woods (30min drive north). We went for the convenience but we always try to support the small businesses. As we walked in, we were greeted by someone who was obviously a local regular. We made our orders and the people behind the counter were quick to strike up conversation. We were made to feel like we were a part of their community and not just tourists. All of the coffee fare is the same you can get most anywhere at a nominal price. They have some tasty pastries. I really enjoyed my Jalapeno ham and cheese croissant was really good. We ended up going every morning of our weeklong stay in Pacifica. They made us feel so welcome. We will for sure return when we stay there again.

I absolutely love this place after a surf session. Family owned, and always top notch service. They remember our order every Sat morning. Their coffee and food never a disappointed.

The food was delicious! Homemade type, they don't skimp on the avocado and also season it! Coffee was great too! Very friendly service as well :)

We do try to patronize non-starbucks coffee shops so I located and found this shop. The coffee was just okay. My wife's latte was not. It was prepared surprisingly fast given the crowds and perhaps that explains it? A tad more enthusiasm at the counter would not be a bad thing.

I was at the beach and decided I wanted coffee. This place was literally across the street. It's a little shop but very cute. They sell really cute art. As soon as you walk in the menu is there on the walk and you can see it. The staff there was very helpful. The coffee was really good. If you're in the area this is a great place to stop by. I prefer small coffee shops they are way better then those big chains. Definitely worth trying.

This is one of my favorite coffeehouses in pacifica! The only thing that stops me from coming here everyday is it's location, it doesn't quite fit with my commute. The staff here is very friendly and fast. If you come here enough they will more than likely remember your order to! I only come in here about once a week but they always remember what I get.My favorite thing to order here besides the coffee is the veggie bagel. Me and my wife ask for it to be served open faced (a little extra) and split it. Thier specialty drinks are also very good! I also like thier chicken salad sandwich on dutch crunch.I really wish they had a coffee card here is all, as much as i come in it would be nice to get that nice feeling of satisfaction every time i fill up a coffee card. That is really my only complaint though - this really is a great coffee shop.

Great selection of coffees, pastries and delicious sandwiches. The owner is ver community minded. Highly recommend

This is a 50/50 review. Love this location and product. Close to the beach, good coffee. On the other hand, the owner "John" is very rude and condescending. For that reason, and with due respect to the employees, I wouldn't frequent this establishment.

The Nutella croissant is so addicting and magical it could be confused with an illegal substance ! Good coffee too. Bonuses: The venue is a Community-building gathering point. And the owner = good people. (Far superior customer service to P-Town Coffee. Come here instead!)

On behalf of my son, who has been going to Fog City Java daily for a week (at a camp nearby), I'd like to pass along his 5 star review. "The food is cooked perfectly, the prices are good, the people are so nice and the bagels are the best I've ever had!" Thank you for filling my boy's tummy daily! He's one VERY happy camper!!!
