My boyfriend and I came here for the first time. It was a delayed Valentine's day date; my boyfriend's coworker recommended it!The place is really nicely lit and the ambience felt positive. Our server, Alex, was a wonderful kind person! He was able to answer our questions regarding the food as well as recommending a dish. His attitude was very positive and made sure we were taken care of.The food tasted amazing. The shares we got were the wagyu sliders with the truffle parmesan fries. The sliders were nice and juicy; a good option if you like a good meaty and juicy mini burger. I personally like truffle fries and couldn't stop eating it prior to our main meal.Alex recommended the misoyaki cod right away when I couldn't decide between that and the seared duck. Definitely a good decision to go with. The cod was so soft, moist and so delicious. My boyfriend got the chicken and he really enjoyed it. Perfectly cooked and juicy.A pricey restaurant but the food we had, and service, made it worth it.Alex was a great server!

5 shiny stars for our wonderful meal here tonight! Kaitlyn was our server and she is so lovely and attentive! We ordered a bottle of reasonably priced wine and talked about our visit to that particular winery last May. We ordered the bluefin tuna bites which was sushi-esque with a beautiful presentation! I loved the beet salad without cheese and bf had scallops that were phenomenal! Very tender and melt in your mouth consistency. A+ scallops. We really enjoyed out high top table and the vibes here are upscale without any pretense. I can't wait to come back and explore more of Flowers Saratoga!

It feels like I've been wanting to try Flowers Saratoga forever, and recently, the opportunity presented itself. Because their Valentine's Day experience was all booked up, I ended up making a reservation for the day after -- and that was totally fine with us. Ambiance and Service: We walked up to the restaurant and a host was outside to greet us, along with a heat lamp to keep us warm. While I expect that heat lamp is as much for the host as it is for the guests, I appreciated that little touch because it was frigid. The ambiance at Flowers Saratoga is lovely - with floral decorative touches throughout, plush bench seating, mirrored accent walls and light fixtures. These days when I write about the decor of a nice restaurant, it feels like I'm describing some variation of the same style. While the decor at Flowers Saratoga is in a similar vein, it incorporates a few special touches that set it apart from other upscale dining establishments. When we arrived, the host took a moment to find our reservation, little too long in fact so that I started to worry that he could not find our reservation, but those fears ended up being unfounded, and he showed us to our table. This is where we arrive at the part of the experience at Flowers Saratoga that I did not love, and it really detracted from what otherwise could have been a very lovely evening. We were sat at a table between the bar and bench seating, with two aisles of traffic on each side near the kitchen. This location was less than ideal for an intimate, romantic dining experience. When we asked to be moved to bench seating nearby, which was empty, the host offered to move us to a different table - but not one of the two bench seats that were empty. She checked again and said those bench tables were reserved for a party of six, so we stayed at our table. But it was so distracting to have people brushing by us constantly. And ultimately, when they pushed those tables together, there would have been room to put our table in the extra space. And very soon after we asked to be moved, tables opened up on the bench. It was a problem that could have been solved with a little care and creativity, but they seemed more interested in convincing us to keep the table than solving the problem. I made this reservation over a month in advance and had been so looking forward to it, that this was a real disappointment. All of that being said, our server was wonderful, friendly, and attentive enough. He also steered me toward the cod as my main, which I am thankful for but more on that in a bit. Food and Drink: We both started the meal with the Strawberry with a Mint Tattoo cocktail, which is similar to a strawberry mojito. It was good not as sweet as your typical mojito, but it was not strong. My partner had two of them and wondered if they had forgotten the alcohol in them altogether. Now, onto the food, which was the star of the show! We started out with the Wagyu Sliders (think Wagyu, brioche bun, espresso truffle aioli, and tomato jam). I cannot underscore enough just how good there were. The richness of the Wagyu paired perfectly with the sweetness of the tomato jam and brioche bun and aioli. My partner and I kept remarking on how good these were as we took bite after bite. For our entrees, I opted for the misoyaki cod and my partner went with the prime filet. I couldn't decide between the salmon and the cod, and when I asked the server which I should choose, without missing a beat, he recommended the cod. This was a great recommendation. The cod was perfectly cooked and moist, coated in this wonderful blend of miso and soy flavors. The cod was served atop a plentiful bed of flavorful black forbidden rice. Yummm -- this dish was delicious. My partner went with the prime filet. I must say, the presentation on this dish is impressive - bacon wrapped asparagus standing in an upright position, layers of creamy, cheesy gratin in a tall, perfectly rectangular shape, and crispy shoestring potatoes piled on top of the steak. I was starting to get full (beware, those sliders are filling), so I did not sample this dish except for the shoestring potatoes, but my partner raved about how flavorful the steak and the gratin were. He loved it. Overall, Flowers Saratoga is absolutely worth visit. Unfortunately for us, the location of our table really detracted from what could've been a fabulous dining experience.

Came here for a girl's night and we were not disappointed! The restaurant was very pretty and the food was just as nice. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, beet salad, tuna trio, cod, key lime pie, and fries and shared it between the 2 of us. The drinks also tasted as good as they looked. Service was wonderful and we even got a free sweet treat to celebrate my friend's birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed our night -- I'll be back!

Delicious, Great Presentation, and Excellent ServiceCame here for Valentines and it was our first time at Flowers. We've gone to other restaurants up and down the street, and this one caught our eye. Plumed Horse is great but overrated and overpriced. The food is hands down better! Starting Course: We ordered the beet salad and the burrata salad. Husband said the beet salad was by far the best salad he's ever had, so that's high praise! Main course: I had the miso cod and husband had the standard steak. Presentation and taste were on point! Cocktails: I had the Hummingbird and the Old Fashioned. Hummingbird is an interesting take of basically a Prosecco with Turkish cotton candy and rosemary herb. Interesting! I would try it but you can't go wrong with an old fashioned, which they added walnut and sage to. An interesting take to make it more wintry. All the decor was very tastefully done, though a bit on the girly side but that goes with the pink flowers theme. The restroom is well maintained and very tastefully decorated.

We are excited to finally try Flowers after having great experience at Hero's. Made an early reservation on a week night, we were welcome by the very nice lady receptionist shortly after the door opened at 5PM. The ambiance is nice and upscale, beautiful paintings on the walls (even in the ladie's room) comfortable furniture and pleasant lightings. Our server Alex was excellent through out the entire evening, attentive, polite, efficient and not overbearing. Service here is top notch. We ordered a bunch of dishes for the three of us to share, several of them were clear winners, opinion were mixed on some others. Plating of all dishes were absolutely gorgeous. The Prawn Cigars were delicious which pairs perfectly with the Pomegranate and Burrata salad, we loved them. (5/5 for both)The Osaka Filet bites was not my favorite, servings was generous but the filet was over cooked and the sauce was way too sweet imho. (3/5)Our main courses were:Miso Cod, good flavor, flaking fish and black rice was good. (4/5)Scallops- three large ones over a rice cake with bacon pieces, pretty good (4/5)Wagyu sliders trio with truffle fries , this maybe the favorite of many but the tomato jam was so sweet I had to give my share to hubby. (?/5)We received a complimentary birthday dessert, (thanks) also ordered Key Lime pie which was beautifully plated, but could be tangier. The glass of Sauvignon Blank was $10 which we thought was very reasonable. Overall it was a wonderful meal, the ambiance and service certainly made it very enjoyable.

I recently came here with my parents on a Sunday night to celebrate their belated anniversary and we lOVED IT! Making a reservation definitely made checking in and seating smooth (so go do that, super easy and the confirm you're still coming an hour or so before). Everyone that works here is so kind. We were served by Gabriela (so sorry if I misspelled her name) and she was the best! Really attentive and timed the different parts of our meal perfectly. We also received a complimentary dessert for the occasion. The inside is decorated cute and classy; inside was not too loud, ample space between tables, and nice music playing. WHAT WE ORDERED: 1) Wagyu Sliders: delicious, could devour all three on my own, love the tomato jam, bread was solid, and the beef patty was so buttery and flavorful. (5/5)2) Burrata Salad: great amount to share with the table, burrata was huge and fresh, pomegranate seeds were a nice touch. (5/5) 3) 20 oz Rib-eye: Beautifully presented steak that came with a pretty large side of couscous salad. Dad enjoyed it and finished it down to the bone. Some bites were better than others, as in I would get more flavor in some of the pieces I tried compared to others. If I had to nitpick, it could be seasoned a tad more. (4.5/5) 4) Misoyaki Cod: light and delicious fish, miso flavor was not overdone, cod was cooked perfectly, black rice paired well. Although I loved the flavor of the fish, I felt like the plate was missing something (personal preference though). (4.5/5) 5) Scallops: BEST SCALLOPS I EVER HAD! At first, I was a bit skeptical because I saw some reviews say they weren't exactly spectacularly, but I was proven wrong. The scallops were cooked perfectly and cut/melted in my mouth like butter. Sauce was great, pork belly added depth, and the rice cake rounded out the dish. Everything on that plate made sense and had a purpose. My favorite thing of the night! (5/5) 6) Truffle Fries: yummy, can't go wrong (5/5)7) Chocolate Espresso Cup: delicious, but the chocolate cup was a bit thick. I guess that means you get more chocolate though (4/5) DRINKS: so goooooood1) Kiwi Do You Love Me2) Strawberry With a Mint TattooHappy to say we found another place for special occasions!

Flowers is such a great restaurant in downtown saratoga, the food is very fresh, excellent service, and great ambiance. The non vegetarian dishes are fantastic, but I had to try the veggie omelette and it did not disappoint. Quality ingredients, and it comes with a side of potatoes and fresh fruit! Will definitely be back for the brunch!

Been wanting to try Flowers for a while. It's definitely worth the visit and a return. The restaurant has nice modern decor and service was friendly and attentive. We had a reservation for a high-top but they were able to seat us at a table which was very nice to accommodate us.Started with the wagyu sliders, which were just ok unfortunate for $30. The biggest issue was they were over-cooked, pretty much well which was a shame for wagyu. The bacon jam was also a little overwhelming the wagyu too.Our mains though were quite good. I was very pleasantly pleased with the cod and forbidden rice. The fish was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. It was also a nicely sized piece of fish. My wife had the airplane chicken which was also well cooked and seasoned. One slight was that the garlic mashed potatoes were really over-whelmingly garlicky. Maybe the most garlicky thing I've eaten in a long time. For dessert we shared the lava cake, which was good. I wish the filling was a little more molten, but it was good and very pretty. The food presentation overall was great, they clearly put a lot of effort and thought into it. Their desserts were really beautiful, we saw many come out to tables.Service was great, our waiter was helpful, kind and also had some fun. We had a great time and look forward to coming back.
