Firetrail Pizza

The pizza here is delicious! I ordered the pesto with red pepper, that came with goat cheese and olives. It was very good, and I also didn't feel gross after either, which I do sometimes when I eat pizza. It also came out incredibly fast. They didn't skimp on cheese or olives either, which I appreciated. Looking forward to trying their other pizzas.

Sadly could not get past the ordering phase of my experience here at Firetrail due to the host having AirPods in and not being able to hear me. Truck is in the sunny spot of spark social and would be a solid spot to get some pizza during your lunch break or happy hour, but alas the lack of being able to even taste the pizza makes this place a no go. If you cannot find ways to empower your hosts to be better service associates or at least invest in an iPad for guests to order from, then there's no point in you taking my money. One of these days I would love to try Firetrail pizza, but the stressful and almost angry demeanor you could here from the back of the truck tells all that you need to know about this place. Pizza was a little small for $16. It was decent, nothing to rave about. My kid said that it was really oily, but finished his 2 slices. Outdoor seating so better on a warm day.

Ordered ahead thru Uber eats. Got the prosciutto pear and Gorgonzola cheese pizza and a sun dried tomato, goat cheese with added red pepper and sausage pizza. They make them on a thin crust and even after eating a whole 10" pie, I didn't feel heavy. I thought they both had a fair amount of toppings though I would have liked a bit more cheese on both. No cheese pull here. Located at Spark Social there is plenty of outdoor and covered seating area. They also give you a packet of Parmesan cheese and red chili flakes which is pretty standard.

The pizza is pretty good. On the greasy side but flavorful. The crust is thin and crunchy. Had a nice cheese pull. My favorite was the pesto and breadsticks with the marinara dip. The breadsticks are actually just a cheese pizza cut into squares lol. Was not a fan of the balsamic pizza.Overall a decent pizza spot and good for a quick bite at spark social.

Service here is awful. Ordered a pizza and waited 20 minutes. Went up to the window and worker said it would be five minutes. Waited almost ten more minutes and went up again. They said that it would be done shortly. Went up again and asked if they had even started making the pizza, they said no. Horrible workers. It was not even busy, the next customer after my wife and I came 15 minutes later. Terrible business.

An extremely overpriced $17 pizza that had the taste of a grocery store.I was desperate for something to eat on a rainy night, and man, did I make the wrong decision. The sauce was so watery that the toppings fell off and the crust was so tough and chewy it was like eating taffy.Overall, just horrible pizza.

Went to Sparks SF and decided to get a pizza. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, and took about 20 minutes. The pizza crust wasn't too doughy which was good but there weren't too many toppings on it.

I'm going to just flat out say Firetrail makes some of my favorite Margherita pizzas ever in SF. I will be honest and say their other pizzas aren't as good for some reason - the pepperoni and sausage pizzas are pretty greasy, and the other ones have too much sauce (e.g pesto). For this reason alone, I always order Margheritas and if I feel like I want more ingredients I'd add chicken and/or mushrooms. For the price, this place is hard to be beat! The neopolitan crust is perfect - fire oven charred on the edges with some chewiness of the dough throughout, soft and thin in the middle just enough to hold the ingredients. Honestly I think this place is underrated - I'd choose this over places like Doppio Zero, Zero Zero, Delfina anytime (although A16 comes close). It's like Delarosa prices but has quality ingredients.

Normal tasting pizza, but a bit bland. They do load up on the ingredients. I got the daily special which was a pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeño pizza. I added sausage for an extra $2. The pizza came out quickly. I'm biased because I'm so used to having the pizzas from "Dough" on Market Street, and it's hard to beat that piece of perfection. But if you're in the Mission Bay area, this is the only pizza around.
