El Tesoro Taqueria & Grill

I found some hair in my super burrito earlier this evening. Super disgusting. I had ordered a pollo asado burrito with no guacamole. Found a brown hair. Not cool.

Killer takeout pollo asado burrito. Tortilla was nice and buttered up and chicken was so juicy. Great bite and love that it includes chips and 2 containers of salsa of your choice.

I ordered food twice in one day from here it was so good! Definitely will become a regular of mine

I ordered DoorDash from the restaurant and got a super quesadilla (steak) and horchata. It just wasn't for me. The quesadilla was stuffed with more salsa/guac/sour cream than I expected, making it too soggy/wet for me. I generally prefer just meat and cheese anyway, but there was so much juice that the tortilla was wet & sauces were dripping everywhere. The flavor was great, and I'm sure I would enjoy it if I ordered just meat and cheese. I loved the horchata, and would suggest still giving the restaurant a try!

Food is very flavorful and portions are decent. I really enjoyed their asada fries and burritos! I would try it out again!

We order from this place often they are delicious and the portions are generous. We both like the Al Pastor super burritos and their tacos are all amazing. We alternate between Horchata and the Aquas they have Fresca and Jamica are my favorites.

Storytime:Scene: 8pm on a Wednesday night. A meeting had just ended in the Mission, and I was hungry as I hadn't had dinner yet. I was in the mood for a burrito, so I checked both Google Maps and Yelp, and found a place. I walked over, and it was closed. No biggie, I found another place. I walked over, and it was closed. It's ok, there's a place around the corner. It was closed too! I was getting hangry and was tired after the meeting, so I checked Google Maps for the best bus to take to get home. I hopped on, and though I had my book with me, kept checking Google Maps for restaurants that might be open. While on the bus, I saw El Tesoro which was on the bus route home. I ordered through Toast from my phone, and when I got to El Tesoro in less than 20 minutes, my Regular Burrito with spinach wrap, black beans, and carne asada ($10.50) was ready waiting for me.I grabbed the bag, and noticed the bus I had left was still idling on the corner. It slowly made it's way down the block, and I was able to hop on the same bus I had left as if nothing had happened--but something had happened: I had my El Tesoro burrito.I continued on the bus home, and once I got home, I kicked off my shoes and washed my hands and devoured the burrito. It was delicious, filling, large, spicy, and so reasonably-priced.The inside is fairly small. Service was good, but brief because I was there for pickup.Prices are so good, I will be back to try more including their horchata and their krazy burrito (which includes Any meat, hot cheetos, nacho cheese, french fries, guacamole, sour cream and jalapenos!)

I customized my burrito, no guacamole, no beans, but with avocado slices. Guess what they didn't even put the avocado. And they charged me extra $1 for it. The burrito only have a few pieces of meats in it. Don't ever customize any of your food, they never get it right. Not just this restaurant, others too.

I absolutely love this restaurant and so does my significant other. I always get their burritos and he loves the tacos. Their carnitas is really good but when they have the chicharron it is the BEST. This review is really a request to El Tesoro to make their chicharron tacos a permanent part of the menu. Thanks yall!
