El Tesoro

Came here as recommendation as a no frill local burrito place. I was missing my San Diego mexican food and I liked that this place had a salsa bar (all the salsa were mild besides the habanero), and the prices were actually pretty reasonable for a dish.- Super burrito with cabeza - Delish! Moist and good balance filling!- Super quesadilla with al pastor - Really good too!Love that its a local spot and the food came out quickly. I also like that its in the plaza with so many other things I can use in my daily. I can drop off packages at UPS, get my eyes checked, and get some groceries!

This is my one of my "ol' reliable" spots.Food is solid and who doesn't like a salsa bar.The folks are nice here too.

The taquerias in South San Francisco are usually solid. Being born and raised in the Mission District of San Francisco my burrito litmus test is different but I came here with an open mind. El Tesoro had some good burritos. I got the super steak burrito. My burrito had good cuts of beef and the ingredients were fresh.If you are around the Westborough Plaza,Grab a burrito at El Tesoro and go to the bar with the different types of salsa

The food was good and yummy. The taco and burrito was delicious and perfectly. The waitress was very kind and helpful and very clean place to dine in or for take out. The restaurant music is perfect and well theme.

I got the chorizo nacho fries to go and I was impressed. There was soooo much meat and it tasted good. They were very considerate. They said they didn't put the toppings on so it doesn't get squished by the other food. The mango drink was also very good. It's not overly sweet.This is my new go to spot for loaded fries.

This is a convenient location for us & with tasty burritos. They really grill their meats like the Pollo Asado where you can taste the smokiness & the tortilla also has grill marks. Nice way to finish a burrito vs. a fast-food chain. We ordered 2 Regular Chicken Burritos & 1 Fish Burrito with Guac & Sour Cream. The Regular Pollo Asado Burrito was pretty tasty on a Spinach Tortilla, with Black Beans & didn't even need any salsa. The Pollo en Salsa was hefty & moist with the same filling. The Fish Burrito on a Spinach Tortilla had very tender & flavorful fish like Halibut vs. Catfish or Tilapia which sometimes tastes dirty to me. I loved the restaurant quality fish they used! My burrito was very moist too. I noticed they didn't include my Pinto Beans on the side nor Pico on the side which I specifically indicated on the Door Dash online order?? The female clerk put the burritos in a bag and told me I could get Salsas on the side. They also had different types & had jalapeños, red radishes, limes & a jalapeño/carrot pickled veggie condiment.We ate the whole thing & missed the special Cali-style burritos here. Loved the food

I've been here a few times. The food here is amazing, and the staff here is super nice and helpful. I placed an order for takeout, and my food was ready and waiting. The lady made sure my order was complete and I had all the salsas I needed. My order was simple:1. Super carne asada no pico- perfect balance of steak beans and rice. I like that it wasn't all rice or beans like some places.2. Chicken taquitos - crispy and not greasy. The guac, sour cream, and cheese on top were perfect. 3. Churros - They were alright but kind of stale. A little disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this

Delicious food! I ran across this place on Uber eats and I went in person to see about other choices omg everything is fresh and price is right! Come enjoy delicious fresh food and drinks! You will not be disappointed! Service is amazing love the ambiance

Best Agua Frescas are here their strawberry and pineappleShrimp and steak super quesadilla Chicken Chimichanga (I've had better other places but for the Peninsula its good)Customer Service is always great as well

Got a chicken super burrito. Won't do that again. The chicken was nothing special and it was all on one side while the other side was multiple bites of sour cream. The tortilla was soggy,messy. Not worth it.
