I tried this taco spot and ordered the Langua, Cabeza, and Carne Asada tacos. Overall, it's not bad, and the drinks are actually pretty great. I forgot the name, but it's citrusy and refreshing, so definitely try the drinks when you visit! The tacos are decent at $3.50 each--moist and juicy, and better than many other places I've tried. While it's solid, I've had even better tacos in San Jose. So, it's a good spot, staff there are nice and there are seats for you to eat. Remember they only take cash tho!

Literally grew up a block away from this taco truck and just now trying it for the first time. Ordered cabeza, lengua, al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas tacos. I loved the carnitas because they were very crispy and the flavor was great! The rest were all very delicious as well. Got a piña/limón agua fresca and that was very refreshing as well!

Really solid tacos + so affordable.I got the lengua, cabeza, and carne - all for ~$11. The lengua and cabeza were my favorites - they were both super tender. Carne was just a tad dryer than the other options. The tacos I got were actually pretty wet, making it a bit hard to eat them all / hold their shape within the floppy taco shell.Will have to come back and try the famed carnitas!

Mira! This is the place for authentic chow, the real deal. Amazing asada tacos, so flavorful and delicious. Can't say enough wonderful things about the nachos. It was loaded with everything and was enough for 2 meals...but got eaten in one. Que gordo!Enjoy!

Every bite was full of amazing flavor. All tacos were seasoned perfectly and was fresh. Service was great!!! Absolutely one of the best tacos I've ever had!!

My burrito was tasty and flavorful. My coworker picked it up for me and when it arrived it was delicious and hot. Everyone was just right.

It's located at like a parking lot so it's just street parking but it can be hard to find because it is sf. Ordered the lengua, chicharron, and asada, super quick and tacos were loaded with the meat. Personally I feel like they were lacking in flavor a bit and the meat didn't taste "fresh". Perhaps I came in with a higher expectation for street tacos since I'd some really good ones in San Jose so I was a bit disappointed afterwards

Best tacos in SF hands down. I haven't tried them all but this place is exactly what you hope for.

An update is long overdue. This is my favorite San Francisco gem and favorite taco place I've encountered in California. I have had many tacos in my life as a Mexican and traveling around Mexico. Gallo Giro spoils me by making these available to me close to home. The meat has always been seasoned so well it has me thinking "Que sabrosos!". I always pair my tacos with the green salsa and some lime. My mouth waters as I type and I know my boyfriend is picking me up some as we speak. The Jamaica, hibiscus agua fresca, is my favorite and better than other ones I've tried around the bay. They have it sometimes and other times they have horchata. The service is top notch. It's run by a family and the two girls at the front, Stephanie and Vicky, are some of the most wonderful people. My partner and I have been coming here about 7 years, him longer, and we notice it's not only us they're kind to. They are very sweet and thoughtful. We don't know them on a personal basis outside of their work, but you can tell they exude kindness and thoughtfulness. Parking can be tricky sometimes as there's a bunch of people showing up; it's close to a park, school, homes and businesses. Luckily we've almost always been able to get a spot but there have been times we've had to walk a few blocks. Doesn't matter though, for these tacos I will walk!
