fresh fish and fair prices. this grab-and-go is a great addition to the neighborhood. sadly only open M-F. btw i went around noon and some stuff was already dwindling. i got the omakase nigiri (16.99) and spicy salmon roll (9.50). the nigiri pieces were a little smaller than i expected, but it satisfies the craving if you're looking for a quick fix. the scallop and salmon were the standouts for me (and im not a big scallop fan). probably wouldn't get the omakase again, but would get the spicy salmon roll again! either way, no denying the quality. will be back to try other items. they also have japanese drinks and snacks.

I'm so glad this place opened up in SF and it's the perfect spot for lunch! It's grab and go sushi which makes it so convenient. The fishies are pretty fresh and the salmon is my fave!Come here early because the lines get long and sometimes you might have to wait for your order to come out

A friend recommended this to me and she couldn't be more right! They have a small little store with some snacks and to go sushi.Their selection is great but also not too much where it's overwhelming. I got the nigiri and salmon for a very reasonable price. It was absolutely delicious! They also provide nice chopsticks, napkins, soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger that are free to grab yourself. If you're craving sushi and just want something quick and to go, this is the place.Only downside is for me is that they're only open weekdays from 11am-3pm and I don't work in the city so I was only able to go on a holiday. But I will be going every chance I get!

Echoing all the other reviews here. This is a godsend sushi place in the heart of San Francisco. You week day lunch cannot get better than this. For less than $30, you will be able to get fresh quality sushi that will fill you up. Feel free to splurge on a drink or snacks to spark up your afternoon.

What a delightful and efficient sushi experience. I stopped by during lunch rush hour, line was out the door but the wait was probably no more than 10 minutes. Pricing starts a 7.99 up to 15, and for the price point that you're paying , the quality is amazing!!!! The setup was straight to the point , super clean on the inside, and I loved how they also package ginger and wasabi for you to grab on the way out. Will be coming back quite often now!

Ebiko is a grab and go sushi place that offers high quality yet affordable takeout suchi. That is their mantra. I agree with the high quality part, but it is affordable only because the portions are smaller compared to eat-in restaurants. The Omakase tray only has six pieces, and each piece is about 30% smaller than at a regular restaurant, so if on a weighted basis, the price is about the same at a regular restaurant. The Bara Chirachi is beautiful to look at but it is petite sized, so you would still be hungry if that is only what you are having as a meal. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the sushi due to the high quality seafood, and the convenience of the grab and go concept. Just be aware what you are really getting for the affordable price.

This is such a beautiful gem of a place that I nearly died and went to heaven. One of my other work besties mentioned about trying this place a couple weeks ago and I wished I went with her then because I want to have this as many times as I can. Who knew this would open up just a block away from my work place?!?!?Ebiko is located near the Salesforce tower by the Gondola, and I'm so glad they opened up shop. I went here this past Friday to FINALLY try their sushi and I was blown away. This shop is super small, but aesthetically pleasing and super clean! They also have these cute baskets you can take to carry with you while you shop around. They have a ton of options, such as rolls, nigiri, soups, side orders, etc. However based on other reviews, I already knew what I wanted. As soon as it hit 11, I walked over and got the following:-2 Salmon Aburi $12.99 each-1 Omakase Nigiri $16.99 each-1 Green Tea (unsure of price)My total with tip came out to be around $49ish. I was buying lunch for a friend too, which is why my total came out around that much.REVIEW OF EACH ITEM I TRIED:-Salmon Aburi: Dear lord this was SOO good. You get 5 pieces in each set, but honestly I do wished that it came with more or that they offered more in 1 set for a bit more. I mean I guess you can get another box, but this one was pretty popular since they only had 4 left when I came. The salmon itself was SO fresh and it is lightly torched. The salmon literally melted in your mouth and I love how you can taste the smokiness from it. Paired with a bit of soy sauce, and it was a match made in heaven. 5/5-Omakase Nigiri: This was also super good too!! The fish was SO fresh and it honestly went down like butter. I do wish that this was labeled to know exactly what you're getting, but each fish I got to try was super delicious. 4/5I honestly will need to try more from Ebiko!! The fish is SO fresh and it honestly tastes amazing. I definitely want to try their uni next time!! The prices are fair for what you get and you can always buy more in case you're hungry. I'll definitely keep having this each week as a treat because I still can't believe a shop like this exists so close to my office. Perfect for quick lunches although the portions are smaller, but definitely worth the experience.

Supes fresh. went after the main rush hour at 12 very short line. paid 8.99 for I think 7 piece roll. fish is super fresh. Price is low but portion smaller. I'd go again I work nearby. easy grab n go with a decent price. they offer drinks and chips also. I like their chopsticks. not the cheap wack ones they were sturdy and nice and pre split with no wood splinters

I am so so happy that Ebiko opened up near my work!! I go here at least once a week and it's something that I look forward to so much.I always get the omakase set and switch between the uni/ikura side and the salmon aburi. The fish quality is always amazing, clean, and tastes so fresh. I love that it's a grab and go so you can get your food quick. I usually end up spending around $25-$30 here, which I think is a great price for what you get. I also love that they have a good selection of Asian snacks and drinks to choose from.I've told a couple coworkers about this spot and they all love it too!!

Got to try the Oakland location a few months back, happen to see this new spot near the Salesforce center so was excited to try.Got the Salmon Aburi and the Chutoro bowl, with a barley tea. Grab your soy sauce and ginger before you leave! The Chutoro bowl was so good. Very fresh. What could be better is if they sell seaweed along side it but otherwise it was delicious.Aburi Salmon is also pretty good, had this before. Just the right balance. At 2:40 about 20 min to closing they still have a good amount of options left but there were no more uni bowl :( they also sell some Japanese drinks and a lot of snacks as well. Will be back next time I'm by the Salesforce center to grab a to go bite.
