Family of 6 visiting Muir Redwood Monument love this place. Dumpling is very fulfilling. Their Ha Gao dumpling got double shrimps. Fried rice, walnut shrimps, salt & pepper pork chop are all very yummy. Fried tofu is also crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ordering is easy. They would give us this electronic thingy for us to order and send the order to the kitchen directly. Would recommend this place. Hands down best of the best for the $$$.

I believe the food is good because of the close proximity to SF Chinatown, I also believe the prices are high because of the close proximity to Pacific Heights. I'm not saying I agree but I understand. We did takeout this time, but would love to return for a sit down meal. My favorite was the duck dumpling. BB

Dynasty Dumpling is a well-decorated, sunny little spot in Lower Pac Heights with what looks like a super extensive list of happy hour and group deals.recs: shrimp and leek boiled dumplingsprice: ~$20/persontips: we used the doordash dining out deal here to save $10 on a $25+ order!- Scallion Mixed Noodles: The flavor of the scallions really came through, and the noodles tasted fresh, but I felt pretty sluggish after eating this because it's a relatively oily dish- Boiled Shrimp and Leek Dumplings: Shrimp was bouncy, and the flavor of the leeks really came through! Simple ingredients that contrasted really well.- Roast Duck Potstickers: Ordered this out of curiosity and it was exactly what it sounds like -- diced roast duck inside a well-fried and crispy potsticker!Service was fast -- we were seated early and we paid at the counter easily with the Doordash deal.

Strolled here from Marina and it was worth the uphill trek. Delicious flavors and the food was cooked well. No weird chewy chicken or rubbery shrimp. Loved all the dishes and can't wait to try more.

When we first walked in, it was crowded on a Sunday night! We were seated immediately for a party of 2. Parking is a little hard to find in this area. We ordered a bunch of dishes because we wanted to give everything a fair try. Ranking them from our favorite:1. Mu Shu Pork - so good! Very well balanced and perfect amount of smoke2. Szechuan Spicy Chicken - not oily, light breading, quality pieces of chicken breast3. Sautéed String Beans - on the softer side, not as crunchy4. Salt & Pepper Wings - not too salty and very juicy5. Asparagus Beef - Flavor was good but didn't like how thick the sauce was6. Shanghai Fried Noodles - typically they should be a lot chewier, the noodles were doughy and undercooked, so sad because I love Shanghainese noodlesOverall still a very delicious and filling meal. It may be my new go-to Chinese spot!! Portions are big, perfect for large parties and the service was fast. A great casual spot for friends and family or even a quick takeout meal!

Have been here a few times now and this is probably my favorite dumpling place in the city. The real star is the sheng jian bao (not sure what they call it in the english menu). This is the only place that I have that comes anything close to what it would taste like in Shanghai. The Hong Kong pan fried noodles here are also really great. I grew up eating this dish as a kid and it is still a favorite of mine as an adult. The mongolian beef here is also quite good. The soup dumplings are good but not great. The meat is a bit bland and the proportions are a bit off. I would stay away from the scallion pancake as it isn't that great. Food comes out fast and the prices are pretty reasonable. We spent about $20 per person.

Value for food. Pork and shrimp siumai is great. I love the salt and pepper pork as well. The wait time is not so bad. The staff are courteous and speed of service is optimal.

Got lunch at yet another one of these places for dumplings. It may be one of the more affordable options in Pacific Heights. Dynasty Dumpling is bigger than it looks with a good sized dining area. Plenty of tables for a crowd. The prices are pretty okay for the amount and how big these are so eat up and get stuffed. At lunch it was pretty busy. It's annoying but it's a good sign. The dumplings are the main thing. Get a lot for not a lot. It's about $8 for the Vegetable Dumplings, which comes in the basket in which these are steamed. Big green dumplings. These are filling. Looks are deceiving as these are filled up and a few are enough. These have carrots and peas. Better place among the options for dumplings. It's affordable for how much you get. There's plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians.

The food was tasty -- flavorful and authentic! my favorite dish was the pan fried noodles, it had just the right amount of crispness and the noodles held the sauce so well. for the XLB, they have a thicker skin/wrapping but still tasty! the chilli wontons didn't have as much "mala" as i was expecting and was more of just "spicy". The service was fair- they also give discounts to UCSF if they see your badge! Overall, the atmosphere was inviting & food was definitely worth it!
