Alright. The location of this place is horrendous. Finding parking here is like finding a shiny charizard or a rose growing on concrete.THOUGH THE FOOD IS BUSSSTIN GOOD. The hot sauce, as pictured, was really tasty. The dough of the dumplings was really tasty and the filling of the dumplings were fresh. Beef pancakes were definitely on the more unhealthy end meaning they were deliciousMy new favorite spot

Fairly mediocre northern Chinese spot on 9th. Offers a wide variety of noodles, stir fries, and dumplings. The dumplings are decent but very similar to other spots in the Sunset. I was excited to try their knife cut noodles because you don't typically see that. But it was pretty disappointing. I ordered the beef and tomato. The tomatoes were still semi cold. And the noodles seems like the dried kind you buy from Ranch 99, definitely didn't seem like freshly made dough and knife cut.

It was my boyfriend's first time eating here and I was excited for him to try their dumplings. I've had take out in the past from here and enjoyed the dumplings (pork & Napa cabbage) I ordered. We walked in and sat down at a table as we noticed the staff were busy with other things. After about 10 minutes, a waitress came around and began writing down orders. We were then given tea or water (by preference). We ordered the Pork & Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup & pork + chive dumplings to share. We do not recommend ordering the soup as it was flavorless and tasted like water. I was pretty disappointed considering how highly I thought of their dumplings. If there's anything I'd recommend you ordering, it's the dumplings.

If you visit this spot, it is a good idea to bring cash. While they do accept cards, it seems like they prefer cash payments.I ordered the pork soup dumplings, but I felt they were lacking in soup as it seemed to have soaked into the dumpling skin. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Chinese crêpe, especially with the spicy sauce, which added a nice kick.

Convenient place to stop for dumplings on 9th and Irving! The place seems to be family run and feels homey in its own way with very functional ambience and furniture. The service is fast and efficient, although if I remember correctly it took a while to wait for the food. The dumplings themselves are quite good! They are very standard in terms of taste and texture, and my overall takeaway is that I wouldn't mind eating here again especially if for convenience's sake but wouldn't go out of my way to do so. TL;DR 4/5.

Food takes awhile to come out but it's well worth the wait. The soup dumplings tastes amazing, would love to come back to try it again. Unfortunately we don't have good pics of the food, because we would start eating before taking proper picture haha, worth it tho

This was just what we needed for the following reasons:- Close to Koret Playground, where we were wrapping up a playdate.- No reservations needed, ever. They were mostly empty on a Sunday night at 6pm. - Solid Chinese food.- Family-friendly (not explicitly - no kids menus, but they bring out disposable plates and forks/spoons for the kids, and it's easy to find a simple noodle dish the little ones like).- Parking was pretty easy on a Sunday night, but can be much worse at other peak times.$120 total (including tax/tip) for 2 starters, 1 veggie, 3 noodles, and 1 wonton dish. Plenty of food for 3 adults and 4 toddlers. This includes a 10% discount for using cash.* Scallion Pancakes - 3.5 starsMore on the light, fried side. Kids really liked it.* Pan fried soup soup buns - 4.5 starsThis was really great!* Green beans - 3.5 starsSolid, good stuff. The dish was on the smaller side, we could have eaten way more.* Chicken noodle/wonton soup - 4 starsVery basic & simple, but all 4 kids (ages 2-5) loved this.* Beef Chow Fun - 3 starsPretty good soft rice noodles, but I thought it was short on beef, and the beef that was there was a bit hard/dry.* Chicken Chow Mein - 3 starsStandard, nothing spectacular. Chicken a bit dry.* Dumplings - 3.5 starsThe wrapping was handmade, thick and chewy.

my partner & i were passing by and noticed the menu posted on their window, so we decided to give it a try. this seems like a common trend since we saw other diners drawn in the same way. service was quick & this is a pretty casual spot. as for the food -- we should've considered the restaurant's name and only ordered dumplings. my partner got the pork & corn dumplings, and the dumpling skins were nice and chewy. they were delicious, and there were a lot for the price. i ordered the lamb noodle soup, and it wasn't as great as the dumplings. the broth was very bland & had a very overwhelming shiitake mushroom flavor. the lamb was well-seasoned but chewy. i'm not sure if all of their noodle soups use the same broth, but i'd stick to only ordering dumplings from here.

The dumplings were delicious--hot, flavorful, and served with plenty of soy sauce (unlike many other places that skimp on it). However, the inside of the establishment could use some serious attention to cleanliness.
