House made chai!! Very nice! I'll be back! Was told that I will love it. I did!! Egg sandwich- the bread absolutely amazing! The quality of each of the ingredients was excellent and NOT overwhelming so you could enjoy every bite. I did not add anything to the sandwich until the very end I added Tapatio as I like variety! Yeah a great choice, not needed but enjoyed!! Environment is awesome! Big open windows looking out to the school and Dolores park! Large inside and outside dining with plenty of space to visit in small groups or singles! Oh and nice music loud enough ti enjoy but not disturb! Clean and inviting staff was eager and working hard but not interrupting! Excellent Thanks for a great morning !

After driving around for 40 min. looking for parking and sweating out the street cleaner folks, I finally found parking. I was desperate and hungry. My go to breakfast item is the Dolores Egg Sandwich ($9.95), which I have had a number of times. Scrambled Egg, Cheddar, Bacon, Tomato, On English Muffin with Black Pepper Aioli. What was different this time is it was "open face". Hm, when I asked the cashier he said "it's on the sign" at which I replied, which sign, his reply "outside". We've changed a few things. Photo looked the same to me.Guess they are no longer making it a "closed sandwich" unless it's to go. Very, very difficult to eat as the 4 skinny slices of tomato, 2 skinny strips of bacon cut in 1/4's sitting on top of the tomato, just kept falling off. Not to mention the muffin was dry as a bone, no butter, no aioli, nada . So I did get some aioli on the side, but it was somewhat disappointing. This is not how I perceive a "sandwich".Guess I now need to "ask", can I have it as a sandwich.I say, please bring back the old sandwich, just as it was and be sure to add the required sauce.Sorry, another bone of contention, the front door is wide open, tables, chairs, silverware all freezing, not to mention the cold air coming in which cools off a meal and coffee in just a few minutes.May wait to go again till the Spring.Guess I should have taken a picture, not usually my MO.

Cute cafe right across from Dolores park. My partner clans I came here for breakfast and a coffee one weekday during the heat wave. Service was prompt and super friendly. I ordered an iced lavender latte and my partner ordered a breakfast burrito with tater tots. We sat outside which was really nice. Our order came pretty quickly. My latte was super cute and pretty looking. It wasn't an amazing lavender latte but was still fine. Even after stirring thoroughly, I feel like the lavender flavor went away after a few sips. It's also on the less sweet side which isn't a personal preference of mine. I ended up sharing the breakfast burrito and tater tots with my husband. I think it left some things to be desired. Pros: piping hot, stuffed with fillingCons: not super flavorful, has a lot of egg I wouldn't order those items again but I'm sure I'll be back to try some of their other offerings.

Delicious divine veggie sandwich. If I'm nearby, would come back for that and I'm not even vegetarian. Packed with carrots and sprouts and hummus and felt very Californian. Quaint, homey cafe right on the corner of the park.

Food 3/5: The pastrami on rye was decent. Great portions of pastrami, but it was missing the sweet/sour balance to counter the saltiness of the meat via mustard, pickles, etc. It did come out with a small piece of plastic wrap on it :/Service 3/5: Standard for a busy cafe, but didn't really offer recommendations on which items were good when asked. Vibe 4/5: Nice views next to Dolores. Huge windows with good light. The stools were a little uncomfortable tho if ur coming here to work for a while. Overall pretty solid spot to visit if in the area.

Got some breakfast before a picnic at Dolores Park! We shared a lox bagel and french toast. The lox came open face which made it really easy to share! french toast had great texture and a good amount of fruit. We dined in and got a table and felt the cute cafe vibes! Thanks to whoever left their newspaper, we read it at the park.

Convenient Brunch Spot with Room for ImprovementDolores Park Cafe, nestled right next to its namesake park, offers a prime location for a casual brunch in SF. The cafe's diverse menu and inviting atmosphere make it an appealing spot for park-goers and locals alike.I opted for the bacon and egg English muffin sandwich, accompanied by a refreshing lemonade. While the cafe nails the basics of a good brunch spot, the execution fell slightly short of expectations. The sandwich, though satisfying, had a few minor issues. The bacon lacked that fresh-off-the-griddle crispness, and the eggs were a tad too runny, even for someone who enjoys them that way. The lemonade, while thirst-quenching, was fairly standard without any standout qualities.Where Dolores Park Cafe truly shines is in its location and ambiance. The proximity to the park makes it an ideal pit stop before or after lounging on the grass. The cafe's atmosphere is welcoming, with a buzz that matches the energy of the surrounding neighborhood. The server was patient and the food was quick to come out as well. While the food quality hovers just above average, the convenience factor and pleasant environment make Dolores Park Cafe a solid choice for a quick, no-fuss brunch. It may not be a culinary destination in itself, but for a casual meal before hitting the park, it fits the bill nicely.

Dolores Park Cafe is right on the corner of Mission Dolores Park, and is a great cafe to chill by the park! The location and views from this cafe are really nice. There's a ton of natural lighting and a good amount of window seating available here, for a really pleasant cafe experience. I ordered the Chai Latte and it came out extremely quickly. While it was good, I wouldn't say it was anything spectacular. It was still a pretty fair price for a Chai Latte in San Francisco. I could definitely see myself coming back, given the convenient location, great atmosphere, and kind service. Would recommend checking it out!

I ordered a Dolores egg sandwich to go, and it was delicious! It looked like a basic breakfast sandwich at first, but the eggs were surprisingly very fluffy and flavorful. All the ingredients tasted fresh. The only thing I would change is the type of bread used, which didn't quite complement the rest of the sandwich.

The smell when you walk in front invites you to go in and order.I had the Avocado Toast and added the bacon because the smell of bacon was so inviting...The best bacon I had in a long time.I also tasted the Red Eye smoothie, and is delicious.Great place, good food, friendly staff, and not pretentious.
