Chicharron pupusa
the outside of the building
Very nice little spot with its own parking and I can tell the prices are meant to cater to its community. I am really glad I walked in!

There's a lot to choose from here. If you're in a rush this is the perfect pit stop.

This review is specific to the pupusas picked up for lunch. I was craving pupusas and a coworker recommended this place as it was close to our work site. Coworker noted that the pupusas are dropped off between 6am-8am every morning, and this was no frills and quick.Walked in around noon and to the right of the doors (next to the pan dulce case) is where the pupusas were found. They had a few choices - chicharron, queso, and frijoles - 2 pupusas / pack. I picked up the chicharron and the sauce and curtido to go with it. The cashier was friendly when I made my purchase.Brought it back to my office. They were lukewarm. Not a whole lot of filling - they were ok. I liked the curtido, though - brought extra flavor to the pupusas. Two were filling. Maybe they would've tasted better if I brought them home and threw them on a skillet to heat them up for a few minutes.

This Hispanic Market has no Mexican Coka Cola in bottle glass like other Hispanic Markets. How is it possible for being a Hispanic Market, your store doesn't have Mexican glass bottles of Coka Cola I am very disappointed as a Latina person.

Ignore those nasty reviews who probably get their groceries at Whole Foods. This is your local market in the hub of the Daly City/Broadmoor area. You can find so many grocery items here that you can find at a standard grocery store. Daly City Market has a variety of great fresh produce such as an array of vegetable selections, sodas, canned goods, dairy and eggs, and even ice cream. But what I really love getting here that's very convenient is the fresh meat they have. They have a great selection of chicken, pork, and beef selections. To be honest, most their meat produce is much better than Safeway. I also love their awesome fresh and cheap pork chicharrones they have located in the front of the store, as well their fresh pupusas. I love the quality and prices they provide as well. Particularly with their meat products which are well priced. For a standard 2 lbs of pork belly I spent about $7.86 and the butcher in the back also cut it in cubes for me for my Filipino Adobo. The sodas here a little bit more expensive than the chain grocery store. Their 20 pack canned sodas are $10, vs Safeway or Target which have deals for $7-8. So I wouldn't suggest getting drinks here or name brand food such as chips and candies/chocolates. The vegetables are of decent quality and a bit cheaper here, but I do prefer Safeway. As for the service, it's your average neighborhood market. Everyone is nice and attentive when I come here, especially the butchers. The cashiers are also very friendly and fast in checkout.I personally love this place. Since I live around here this is such a convenient place to be when you need that last minute ingredient you're missing or when your Mama wants to cook something and tells you to run to the nearby store or when you want to press your luck with lottery.

Very bad customer service!! Many times we have been here and the young cashiers , today one with the pony tail is so rude. She was looking at her phone. We were at one area and she motioned us to go with her hand to her spot. She was awful! I'm not even going to say other rude things she did.You just lost two customers!! I would hope management looks at their reviews because you might see improvements! Many other people have complained about the rude cashiers.Customer service was good was good when they first opened.

There's a place, with many stories, and generations come and go, dine and work, mingle and find reclusive solace. I like burritos, breakfast burritos that do not break your bank (well in my case laundry quarters) and still fill and fulfill while lovingly usher me to continue completing my morning agenda, laundry and grocery shopping. Interesting side fact: Oni are Japanese demons and they hate onions and Chinese demons hate garlic... Not the reason why I was picking these vegetables up, but good to know, yah know, OR not?!Oh so, this place is next to a laundry mat that has my preferred (also closest to my commute) Bfast burritos and they have a peach smoothie and Lina colada smoothie that's just... man! This place has ample parking spaces, and other services besides a laundromat and grocery store. The grocery store offers lotto, fresh produce, ethnic spices and veggies, various snacks and beverages, multiple items that are needed and not needed for the home. It's nice and packed with a ways to get your need! Thanks for being here and the stellar service!!!

I have been coming to this market for a long time while I was living in DAly City. Now moved to Antioch and sometimes I come back to buy Brazilian Produce.I like the market and the guys at the meat department are so nice and polite but the cashiers are horrible! They are lazy, misinformed and super rude. There is one in specific that is super bitter, crouch and hella rude! She has been there for a long time ( black long hair in ponytail) .She is always with a mad face and when you ask her a question she says she doesn't know and give attitude! She thinks she leans the place!Today she was putting some produce in the cheese and Brazilian products area when I asked her for the price of one of the produce. She responded in a very rude away by saying that when I get to pay I would find out! I asked her why nome of the product is from Brazil has no price she responded by accusing the "Brazilians customer of ripping it off".I doubt because how could they remove all prices in all department? Makes no sense! She needs to be trained how to treat customers otherwise finds a job somewhere else with no public contact.I won't be back ! Not first time she treated me with no courtesy or respect plus accusing people and talking smack about customer is more than rude!!

This is our go-to place when we want to grab some Mexican ingredients. They even have hot dishes like pupusas, tamales and chicharones. However, you might want to buy them early if you want the hot dishes, and I don't recommend you buy them in the evening as they tend to keep them under a hot warmer....if you catch my drift. You'll find authentic ingredients if you want to make cheese quesadilla, menudo, or any other Mexican dish here. They almost have every thing here that a local Safeway or Lucky's might carry save for the long lines and grouchy employees. Here, they are pleasant, friendly and helpful. They answer all your inquiries with a smile. Also, this place is located in the same lot as the Broadmoor Police Station so I pretty much doubt this place is gonna get robbed. I would give them a four star rating but their pastry section, which is in a covered glass cabinet, had flies swirling inside them. But overall, it's in a safe, quiet neighborhood with ample parking spaces.A solid 3 1/2 stars.

This store doesn't deserve a single star, cashiers are moody specially Yesenia (she acts like she is the owner) I bought some Mexican cheese that tasted really bad, I called them within an hour of buying the cheese and they told me to bring it in, I finally did and all I wanted was to replace it not my money back, once at the register she went back to talk to the owner, the owner came up to me and said due to Covid she won't be able to replace the cheese because I already touched it, was she expecting to sell my cheese? I do understand due to Covid some stores are not taking items back, all I wanted was to replace my cheese if I'm taking my item back is because it's not good and I'm not going to keep something that is not good, honestly never going back to this store, La Loma market on Mission next to Bank of America has the best meat and here everyone was is super nice.

Bad customer service service I sent a black person in there to get one cheap item for me. And he was treated as if he was a threat when I know he was not. (We have multiple jobs and money to pay for anything we want)They also rushed him out for no reason. I don't know how such young people can have such nasty mind sets. Close this store and start over.
