Solid place with friendly guys working there and huge portions. The lamb biryani we got was fantastic, although the saag paneer was nothing to write home about. The place was otherwise abandoned on a Wednesday night, and I only saw them get one Uber eats order while we were there, so we got plenty of attention. The plastic flowers and the paper over the white tablecloths cracked me up.

Okay we found our new go-to Indian restaurant. Naan was crispy but not too crispy. Lamb palak and korma were yummy. Prices were great. Service was excellent. Oh and my mango lassi was smooth and tasted like mango and not super sweet. Will be back!

Excited to try new Indian since I can never get enough, but this place is just OK. I was excited because everyone was saying how it's so spicy, but I found it rather bland, and even getting the curries at the spicy level didn't bring much heat or taste. I tried the palak paneer, butter chicken, samosa, garlic naan, and butter naan. the best tasting dishes were the butter chicken and garlic naan. But the samosa, palak paneer, and butter naan was rather bland. The service is nice and the space is large, but I'm not going to be craving Indian food here.

After Zaika closed next to the ball park, I was so relieved to see this place open to see if it could fill my curry cravings. Although the name is bland, the food is anything but. I've seen the other reviews here and I'm guessing they read them and upped the spice meter significantly. I visited last week and my friend and I ordered the chicken tikka masala and Chana masala with garlic and paneer naan, with a side of rice. The waiter asked what spice level (from four: low, medium, spicy, extra spicy) and chose spicy for the chicken tikka and medium for the Chana. The chicken tikka was one of the richest and flavorful ones I've had in the city. Similar to the explosion of flavor that Aslam's Rasoi provides on Valencia. In fact, it was too spicy for my friend and we had to order a side of raita so she could bear the heat! The other plus of the chicken tikka was that it wasn't just cubed chicken that was previously frozen as is found in other Indian spots. This chicken was tender and you could easily chew it, evidence of quality cooking and ingredients. The naan was plentiful and the rice had little bits of wild mushrooms which was a nice surprise! They've done a great job with the decor as well, with an intent to make it seem like you're eating at a luxury restaurant with affordably priced dishes. They're playing classical music above, which elevated the experience. The furniture is clean with long cushioned benches and the bathroom feels like it was just updated, with no grime in sight.I will definitely be back to try their Korma dishes and fish curries since I now know this place means business.

Agree that, on first blush, the food is surprisingly bland. Like, perhaps the least distinctive curry and naan I've had in SF. It was definitely balanced though (not excessively fatty) and a good meal. And the guy at the counter was totally nice (unlike a certain competing place one block up Third). Prices are also fair, so it's a decent value. Sadly the dining room was totally empty, but I'm just not sure this place will make it in post-COVID SF without a stronger statement.

I'm from out of town. Every time I visit a town, I like to look for an Indian joint and always order the same dish I normally do back home at my fav spot. Chicken vindaloo with medium spice and onion naan. The place was rather empty, my husband made a comment that I probably wasn't good because there weren't any guests dining. We went anyway and he was so glad we tried it. The vindaloo was great and had so much flavor! I wanted to go get more before leaving town. The spice had heat to it. The naan was perfect. Hope this place makes it because the food is delicious. If I ever came back to SF I would go again.

My wife and I have lived in the South Park neighborhood of SF for over 20 years and we've seen many restaurants come and go (lately, mainly "go"). Happily, Curry & Kabab opened a few months ago and today we tried it out. We truly had a GREAT experience. We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00 for a late lunch and arrived to find a serene and quiet respite from noisy Third Street, with relaxing piano music playing. This restaurant definitely has an upscale vibe, but without the upscale prices or pretentiousness. We each tried a combination meal. You get a LOT of food for $15-$17: a large slice of fresh lightly buttered naan, your main entree (butter chicken for her, aloo gobi for me), green salad, rice, and a side dish of spiced chickpeas in sauce, and all presented on a lovely, sparkling-clean platter. Our waiter was a quiet, cheerful young man who checked on us regularly. We agree with other recent reviews that the spice level is a notch higher than what you would expect. Overall, we had a terrific experience and are very happy that Curry & Kebab set up shop in South Park.

Didn't eat there. Just had to use the restroom. Bought a coke. The restroom was clean. The place seemed clean and nice. The server was nice. Thanks. Side note: I did all that while my wife was stuck in traffic. She moved four car lengths.

GREAT Indian food, great price. Also the service was fantastic and very attentive. My girlfriend and I went here the other day in SoMa and LOVED it. I highly recommend their paneer dishes, best Naan I've ever had, try the onion or garlic! Also good ambiance if your looking for lunch or dinner spot
