Hella rude for no reason. Came in to look at beer selection. Walked out bc to he brand I want; they don't have. I smile (obv through my mask but you can tell I gave a friendly nod) toward the cash register and here 3 people are - dk who the owners or cashier is), and one says like happy new year in a tone. Tf is that about. I'd laugh about it but I'm mad I can't find the beer I want lol

I'm new to the city from the Midwest so I'm extra nervous everywhere I go. Those law and order episodes always have a single woman who just moved from Indiana. So I walked in to grab some wine headphones in trying to find my wine without any of the brands I know from home. I guess I looked confused (and scared) because the owner took the time to help me figure out what I wanted and grabbed me a chilled bottle from the back. Will definitely be back!!!

Okay So I live two and a half blocks away from Cottage Market. And their price of milk to wine and beer is sso reasonable to the point of where thier smokes are priced less. And the counter person is ALWAYS nice with a smile and they are open til 2am.And they are right across the street from Jasmie's Cafe....FYI

The owner is a total asshole. Always in a bad mood and really rude. The prices for everything in there is also way overpriced. Once I went in asked to break a $20 bill (cutting me off before I could finish asking) and judging from my empty laundry bag in hand he grumpily said to go across the street and that he has no change. I just needed a single bill not quarters--jerk! I would've been willing to buy something too but his attitude turned me off. Do yourself a favor and walk half a block down bush to Bush Market instead. I go there all the time even tho it's a little further from my apartment. The guys there are extremely friendly and their market had a wide selection with reasonable prices.

I came in to buy a pack of gum and a bottle of water. After being disappointed by their gum selection, I grabbed a bottle of Crystal Geyser and put it on the counter. He rang it in as $1, and I opened my wallet to find only 2 twenties. I put one on the counter and apologized for the large bill, but he said gruffly "I don't have enough change. I can't help you." He grabbed the bottled water, as I stood there in shock.I *so* won't be back.

Went in to pick up a few things on my way home and happened to have a few bags with me. 40ish dark haired clerk came out from around the counter and followed me around like I was about to steal something. Very unpleasant experience and probably why this market always seems to be empty. Sparse merchandise, overpriced even for a corner market and I realized when I got home that the loaf of bread I bought was four days past its sell by date. I've lived in this neighborhood for 20+ years and will never return to this place.

Super rude owner. Nothing has a price, you have to ask and everything is incredibly overpriced. I bought some ice cream one time for almost double what it costs at Walgreens, we were going to pay and say that he had added .25 cents for a tiny shitty bag, I didn't even ask for it! And .25 cents???? For a tiny useless bag. .99 cents eggs cost 5$ here. Go to bush market, honest pricing and really nice employees

If you need some ice, and he has ice, he'll sell you some ice; end of transaction. What more could you want? The guy's not in the business to make friends. You want a friend, get yourself a dog.
