The lightest, crispiest naan I've had in SF. Naan itself has flavor and is not just a vessel for curries.

We had a great meal at Copper Chimney. We went in with a friend for an early dinner on a Sunday night and it was bustling inside. Service was warm and prompt. We ordered butter chicken, the lamb curry special, spinach paneer, rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious - I'm not usually a big fan of lamb but that dish ended up being one of my favorites and I didn't find it too gamey. The butter chicken was flavorful, creamy, and the chicken was tender. Garlic naan was light and flavorful, just the right amount of garlic. I appreciated that the serving dishes were preheated so the food stayed nice and hot throughout the meal. We also enjoyed snacking on the complimentary papadums while figuring out what to order. We're looking forward to going back and trying more dishes, but it will be tempting to just replicate our previous order!

Overall, a good addition to the West Portal neighborhood... We ordered to-go the following items:-pappadum: VERY small portion for $3, surprising as it sounds like it's typically complimentary for dine in-samosas: delicious, fluffy dough and hearty filling with a touch of herby-ness -butter chicken: white meat chicken, good flavor. We ordered it medium spicy which was pretty mild but we eat a lot of spicy food-aloo gobi: was more saucy/oily than I expected but still good-basmati rice-garlic naan: large portion and butteryWe will likely order from here again, or even dine in, to try some more dishes. It was not the best Indian food I've had but it did satisfy a craving.

I ordered take out from here, so I can only speak to the food. Upon waking into the restaurant, people behind the counter greeted us with smile, so I would assume they had great service if you were eating in. I ordered chicken tikka masala. The sauce was really good, but since they use white meat, the meat was very dry. Wish they had an option for dark meat... Their Naan was good too, not the best but definitely better than average. I'll definitely come back again!

Excellent curries, thick, creamy and flavorful. None of that oily stuff floating on the top. Ordered our favorite curries the butter chicken $22.97 and chicken tikka masala $22.97 both delicious and lovely with rice or naan. When our delivery arrived, it came with a small Kheer rice pudding. A nice little touch from a small business. A great place for a delicious curry.

Really tasty Indian food. A new go-to in the area. Achari chicken a favorite and the side dishes (rice and popadoms) are fresh and delicious too. Only had takeaway so fat but the food is well packaged and always hot. Restaurant looks nice from the outside with a clean, open kitchen. I'll try sitting-in soon. Would recommend.

This is now my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I was thrilled that they had goat on the menu. The portions are generous. The staff is very friendly. A great addition to the neighborhood.

I wouldn't come back here. As an Indian this food is very mediocre but worse than that is the service. After 15 minutes we had to ask for menus. You literally have to keep asking for EVERYTHING. We placed our order appetizers and mains. The food kept coming out in the wrong order. Main dishes 1 at a time BEFORE the apps. The plain rice didn't even come until we were halfway thru our meal. The Samosas came towards the middle of the meal. We asked them to take the mains back as we wanted the apps first but they didn't care and responded "We are only human" and walked away. Everyone in this restaurant needs to be educated in customer service and the proper order of operation. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to eat here. I would never come back.

First visit to Copper Chimney in West Portal. The freshness of all the food, including the naan, stood out. Not a cliche - you will notice immediately! Took home the Aloo Gohbi, Bengan Bharta, and Karahi Paneer, all 'spicy,' Thanks for satisfying the crave!
