Cilantro SF Taqueria

I was in the neighborhood and decided to come in to try this joint. I didn't have any expectations, but I liked this place. It's very chill, and I can tell that this place has served this community and neighborhood well. We ordered one wet burrito and one quesadilla. They were all pretty good. I would say the quesadilla is better than the burrito, but the sauce on top of the burrito is so good. I love exploring the city and just get surprised. People are nice here too. I will come back for sure.

A great stop in the area! My fave thing to get here is their small super nachos which is the perfect size for filling a craving without having to eat an entire giant plate. Service was friendly and fairly quick. They have nice and pretty clean indoor and outdoor seating available for you to enjoy there, or you can order to go. They offer green and orange salsa, with orange being the spicier one.

We were on our way to a comedy show a couple blocks away and this was the perfect spot to do a quick meal before the show. Food came out very quickly and portions were large for the price charged. I got the Torta Cilantro which was a torta served over a lot of creamy tomato sauce. The sauce was very rich and the meal was incredibly savory. They also give you chips and sauce while you wait for your food to come out. The meal was overall very filling. I'll definitely keep this place in mind if I'm ever in the area.

Not the best quality ingredients. They are inconsistent with the food quantity as well. I purchase an enchilada plate with beans and rice one week and then I came by a week later and ordered the same thing. It was significantly smaller. I was not happy with that. The tortillas were soggy and I would not recommend the shrimp tacos. I got food poisoning from them.

Decided to try this Mexican place since I was craving mole enchiladas. I've never been here before until today my friend said that the tacos were good so that's why I decided to order. Over all the mole enchiladas were not that great. The beans were bland same with the rice. The mole didn't taste homemade it tasted like from a can. I've had mole enchiladas a few times. So that's how I know the taste.They were also 17 dollars and I don't think the price is worth 17 dollars. The flan had a weird texture. It felt mushy. From other flans I've had. it's not supposed to be mushy. I didn't even finish eating it I threw it away because it felt as I was eating raw food.

I guess that I have been spoiled by having some amazing tacos in different parts of Mexico and food trucks in California. This was close to my hotel and the reviews seem pretty decent so I figured I would give it a try.The nachos and the salsa they give you are completely flavorless. I was hungry, but I couldn't even finish them after a few bites. I pushed them aside.I got three tacos, al Pastore, chorizo, carne. The flavors were pretty mediocre nothing special. Nothing wowI got the watermelon agua fresca. it was so heavily sugared that it took away from the beauty of theAgua Fresca drink.Overall, it was a mediocre meal.

I've been here twice now. Both times on a Tuesday, so I got the special: $3 tacos. I've tried the Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Lengua, all delicious. Very simple tacos with onions and cilantro on top. Comes with chips and salsa. They have a red and a green salsa, both very good. The red one is a little more spicy. Very simple place with a couple of tables. Guy behind the counter was very friendly. Service was pretty quick. Would definitely come back.

5 stars for tourists. They have a lot to choose from and a bathroom for customers.But if you already know the Mission offerings... than this is a 3.But great spot overall.

I'm from LA and was very impressed with these tacos! I got the lengua (my favorite), asada, pastor & carnitas, ALL DELICIOUS. Taco Tuesday is $3 per taco and $4.5 on a regular day. Be careful with the hot sauce because it kicks in later! Service was quick and friendly I was out in 5 minutes. Regular atmosphere nothing crazy.

Absolutely delicious and normally priced. Very nice folks running the joint. Monday nights is quesabirria night...don't miss out on that if you've never had it. I got 3 beef tacos and some chips and guacamole and that was good for one person.
