Ten stars. I wish i had a photo of what me and my friends got here after our Hot Girl Walk in Golden Gate Park. We walked two blocks from the park to Balboa and looked for a food place to give us sustenance back. This place stood out on Yelp with its reviews so we tried it out. Birria TacoCarne Asada TacoAl Pastor Burrito Cheese quesadilla Everything was fantastic! We're ordering take out again from here.

I tried to place an order over the phone multiple times, but each time, someone answered with a simple "Hello" and then immediately hung up. Thinking it might be a mistake, I called again; same thing. After several attempts, I decided to drive past the restaurant, expecting to see a packed house. Nope. Just one customer inside.Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I called again while standing right outside the restaurant. I watched as an employee walked over to the phone, glanced at it, and then just... walked away. No attempt to answer. No explanation. Just blatant disregard.If this is how they treat potential customers, I can't imagine how they handle service inside. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored.

One of my Top Tortas in the City. The Quesa Birria Tacos are a huge hit with my daughter. Prices are a bit high but it is SF. Staff is ok. Great location with options for boba, coffee, and other things after your meal.

Stopped by Cielito Lindo on a weekday late afternoon and ordered to-go a quesabirria plate. The quesabirria was very greasy and heavy as expected, but good. Meat and cheese portions were fair. However, I thought the consommé lacked flavor and tasted bland. To balance the greasy meal, the horchata was refreshing with a good amount of cinnamon.Restaurant was empty when I visited, and service was quick and friendly.

I found this on Google and thought the food pics looked great. I wanted to try a new Mexican spot and this one fit the bill. The food did not let down, or at least what me and a friend got. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado and my friend for huevos rancheros. Both were so tasty! The place kind of reminds me of a dive bar. It definitely is a neighborhood hotspot. Food was good and the service was excellent. I'll definitely come back.

Visiting family, my Mom's request was "crunchy taco" lol. She had never had birria tacos so my companion suggested Cielito Lindo since it was in the area.We arrived early in the evening and it was very quiet. The restaurant is cozy, colorful, and somewhat spacious. Ordering is easy as the menu is displayed, you order at the counter, and they call out your number. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and stayed hot throughout our drive! Service was straightforward and decent. I got my Mom the Quesabirria Tacos. You can order a la carte or a plate, I chose the former and got her three. Though I didn't have any, she enjoyed her first time trying birria. The tacos were crispy, the meat was chunky, and they were massive in size! My companion and I chose to share the Super Burrito with Al Pastor, with No Cheese, and Light Sour Cream. The burrito was huge and I'm glad we shared it as half filled me up. It didn't wow me too much--the meat was way too salty and everything else wasn't seasoned. I'd say go for the birria but there's better options for other items elsewhere.With limited Mexican restaurants in the Richmond, Cielito Lindo stands out in the neighborhood. Easy to find with their blue building, they're located off Balboa with metered and neighborhood parking. I wouldn't mind coming back but to try something else.

My friend and I check this restaurant, it's a bit pricey but they're big portions. -Quesabirria is delicious bigger than my hands ahah which is good. I only ate two pieces and got full. I love how crunchy it was. -Torta was good, filled with bunch of meat and big portion too. -Horchata was good too so much flavor. It was a great place and delicious. We will come back.

I'd been wanting to try Cielito Lindo for a very long time, so when a friend asked where we should go for lunch, I was excited to suggest this place! I'd read about their quesabirria tacos, so that's what I ordered. My friend ordered two tacos, chicken and beef. My quesabirria tacos were delicious, but a bit on the oily side. They had such deep flavor and the consomme that came with it was complex and rich. I might just pour it over some noodles if I don't use all of what I brought home! The quesabirria tacos were huge! I'm generally a good eater, but I could only finish one; I have the other one waiting for me for lunch today and I'm certainly looking forward to it! My friend's two tacos were tiny in comparison, like street tacos. They came with two different salsas, one green and one that looked like it was with roasted chiles. She said they were good but the beef was a bit on the dry side. We each also had the pineapple agua fresca and we both loved it. Not too sweet and tasted so fresh. I usually only drink water with my meals, but the next time I go, I'll be sure to order whatever agua fresca they have that day. So delicious!I would certainly return for more Mexican food when I get the craving. So glad I was finally able to give this place a try. Thanks, Lisa!

10/26 update, breakfast burritos are back to 5/5! Went on a Saturday morning. We ordered two breakfast burritos and a breakfast plate. Everything was delicious!
