Great selection of food, drinks, the alcohol and beer selection is incredible too. Did I mention great Sandwich.

Great local grocery store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of fresh food, beer, and wine are great. The peak of Potrero Hill would not be the same neighborhood without Chiotras as its center jewel.

If a grocery store was Cheers, Chiotras Grocery would be that place. They have a little bit of everything Cozy deli known for sandwiches also vending beer, salads, and convenience-store staples.

If you in the neighborhood, looking for a deli that will not disappoint. Come on by. I always had sandwiches from here. Never old meats, everything is fresh cut. Breads are also never old. The staff always welcoming two small tables if you want to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Expandable awning for shade.

Deli is closed at 4:00 on the weekend. Bummer. Great reviews but the guy sure did let me stare at the menu for a long time before letting me know. Maybe they have to know your name for you to get service? So much for the cheers atmosphere

5 Stars all around!Here are some of the highlights:Extremely friendly owners and employees, well stocked store, great sandwiches, home made baked goods on sale, an amazing selection of (pretty fancy!) liquors and natural wines+beer. Now for my personal favorite! They have gotten not one but two items I asked for into the store, it feels really personal and like they just did me a favor becasue they are nice and care about the people that frequent their store. A+ store and experience!Sometimes I stop by just to say hello because everyone is always so friendly and usually leave with some tasty items I didnt even know i wanted ;)

Very nice grocery store! It saved me several times when I did not want to go to Costco. They have a little of everything and the store is pretty well organized. My husband used to have their sandwich very often. He stopped because now we are into cooking at home, but he said it was one of the best sandwiches around the area. Recommend he said!

What a hidden gem. Ramsey and ali are very welcoming and warm people. They make a mean latte and it brightened my day to get great service first thing when they opened their doors. I look forward to trying the tasty sandwiches Ali makes. This little grocery store on the hill is worth the stop.

Pocket of sunshine in Potrero Hill. Nicest people, fabulous selection. Will be back!
