Chill Spot Rendezvous

This is a must go to spot if you like gluten free ice cream and a good vibe. I tried the ube gluten free ice cream and fell in love with it. The owner, Maggie, makes it fresh with love and it shows. I also had the mushroom empanada (one of their best seller) and I'm addicted to it. The ambience feels like home and you can feel the positive energy once you walk in.

Absolutely loved going here. Came for a TGTG which was a great deal with a coffee, baklava and a banana split. I ended up buying some lumpia, among other items. The owner was very kind and had family there that were also very friendly. I will for sure be back. For the yummy food and the friendly service.

Chill Spot is right around the corner from my place, and I can tell right now, it's going to be a regular on my neighborhood rounds! Stopped in yesterday to just pick up a small Rocky Road ice cream for a friend. The owner, Maggie, was a delight. Not only does this place have ice cream, but they also have some great lunch items and a fabulous back room for community activities. I'm definitely dropping in for the Gratitude Meditation on Sunday. Even if it's a little cold to be thinking ice cream right now, Chill Spot offers a lot more. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by. Maggie makes you feel like you've just met your new best friend! (P.S. Did I mention all the ice creams are home made?)

Came here for their dairy-free ice cream. Did not disappoint! Had the ube dairy free scoop - yummy, creamy, delicious! Husband had vanilla shake which he said was one of the best he's had. Owner very welcoming and staff very nice. Will definitely be back!

Came here for a Too Good To Go order and didn't know what to expect. Received a hazelnut iced coffee, a small "Island Vibes" non-dairy "ice cream." and a huge portion of arroz con leche with salted caramel topping. Plus I could sample all the ice cream flavors I wanted. Everything was delicious! The coffee was smooth and tasty and something I would come back for for sure, the ice cream flavors were all yummy, and the rice pudding was rich and filling and really hit the spot. It was not very sweet, which I appreciated because it was such a large portion that if it had been sweeter it would really have been too much sugar for one sitting. As it was, I shared the portion because it was so huge. Will have to come back to try some of the other goodies, like empanadas.

Chill Spot gives me joy. The staff is so warm and welcoming, the empanadas are bomb diggity. Admittedly, I have yet to move on from the mushroom one. Bottom line: This cafe was envisioned to be a happy community spot, founded on welcoming everyone. The vision has been realized--it's a happy, happy place where you can work and feel absolutely welcomed while you enjoy delicious ice cream, drinks and empanadas. Well done!

I had purchased a Too Good To Go surprise bag. When I got there, it was still a little early to pick it up. The employee that was helping me was very friendly and helpful. She had asked if I wanted to try any of the ice creams that they make inhouse. While waiting, I also ordered a blended Vietnamese coffee, which was yummy! All the ones that she suggested were very tasty. The varieties of items I received in the surprise bag was way worth the money! I had also met the owner, Maggie. She was a delight! Will definitely be going back again!

I brought my family of 4 here yesterday and we were not disappointed. My daughter had an Ube Latte - she told me that it was one of the best that she has had! I had a sip and I would agree. It was full of Ube flavor without being too sweet. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his root beer float. My other child had a Matcha (dairy free) ice cream - she told me that it was super creamy! And lastly I had an expresso ice cream. This is the real deal. It will wake you up. Loved it. But it isn't the just the yummy treats that will keep me coming back. I just love the vibe of the place. (The name of the place is very fitting) The shop has a really nice space in the back where you can read, do work on your laptop, or play board games . They provide wifi for customers. The owner and her family are the warmest and nicest people.

Love this place! Had the German chocolate dairy free ice cream and it was so good!! They have more dairy free options than most ice cream shops and even have 2 options for bases--coconut cream or pea protein. The regular ice cream flavors also look great! I sampled a few different flavors and they were all SO good! They also have homemade gluten free cones that were the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!! Also the owner is so sweet and gives great recommendations.
