Perfect grab and go place for your morning! There's no seating area as it's a small space, designed for take-out only. Service is fast and the gentleman and woman working the counter are really nice.My go-to is the iced vanilla latte w/ extra shot of espresso; strong and gets the job done for me! For food, I absolutely LOVE their veggie bagel sandwich; Asiago bagel w/ cream cheese, sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions. It's AMAZING, I would buy it everyday if I could (I have to resist the urge). This meal runs me about $20 w/ tip which is typical for being in DTSF.

Cute, tasty, hole in the wall, sandwiches, burritos, coffee, and nice hard-working people. I think they made my breakfast burrito fresh from scratch. I uploaded a couple photos for 2024.

Chatz was right down from my hotel (the Clancy) and there are SO MANY coffee options in the city that I said screw it...I'm just gonna walk to this hole in the wall. Then again, who am I kidding...I love a good hole in the wall. This spot did not disappoint. The white mocha was yuuummmy and so were the sandwiches. We did return the next day as again it is super convenient and the guy working was so nice and sweet. I'm not gonna say it's the best I had but a solid B in customer service and food for sure.

This is a great little independent take-out establishment that has been operating for years. I stop by routinely to get a quick coffee and sometimes a breakfast sandwich in the morning. The team that operates this business is friendly and they offer quality products. There are public open spaces in every direction if you want to sit down and drink your coffee nearby.

This is THE best spot for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: NA (takeaway only) This is the definition of a little "hole in the wall" cafe owned and operated by immigrant small business owners. This is 100% the place we should be spending our money. Not only is their banging coffee like half the price of Blue Bottle / Philz / other corporate options, but they also have absolutely top quality breakfast burritos AND bagels AND sweet baked goods. Chatz has literally anything you could want out of a morning coffee run, and it's inexpensive, and the owners are super nice.

Their breakfast bagels are absolutely to die for. I'm partial to the bacon sandwich. It's a great burst of protein in the morning and a nice way to start my day. I'm disappointed in myself for not leaving my review sooner.

Why oh why do all the coffee shops close early in this town. Not Chaz. Quick and convenient as it is a lil kiosk in a building. Burritos look good but I was after a cortado for my afternoon pick me up. They have all the milks too. Good place.

My go-to spot for a quick breakfast bagel (which comes with egg and cheese) on my way to work. I get the everything bagel and add ham or sausage for an extra $1.25. Prices are reasonable and service is great!

I don't know what it is about them but their breakfast bagels are the best. I prefer the bacon egg and cheese.
