Super cute coffee shop on Ocean Ave! Aptly named, this place is very charming! Charm is currently decked out in a mix of Lunar New Year and Valentines Day decor, including cute floral arrangements on tables.Came in on a Friday around 9am. It's a cozy spot with a small amount of table and counter seating that seems to attract a lot of locals (quite a few came in and out during my visit). I can't resist a seasonal special, so ordered one of the Valentine drinks, the BerryChoco--Licious Latte, and it was yummy! Not overwhelming sweet, made with their homemade strawberry and chocolate syrup. Really enjoyed it and was tempted to get their matcha special before heading out... Edit: I got it and it was yummy!Classics played on the radio and yummy pastries from Black Jet Baking were available. Was pleasantly surprised by this local spot but highly recommend!

I was super excited to find out a new coffee shop opened on Ocean Ave. Charm Coffee's aesthetic and branding is super cute and totally drew me in, hoping that the coffee would be just as impressive.Honestly, it's just "fine." The menu is not super exciting, which it doesn't necessarily have to be if a business wants to position itself as a specialist in a few drinks. My first visit, I ordered an iced matcha latte, and opted to have it sweetened. (With what? Idk). And truly the matcha just tasted kinda bland. It tasted neither grassy but also not bitter. It certainly didn't taste sweet. I opted to give this place a second chance and try their espresso. I ordered a hot latte, which I asked to be sweetened with simple syrup (the most basic bet out of very few options). The coffee was really smooth and the milk was frothy. But didn't leave a particular impression on me. It's just "fine." If I'm in the area, perhaps I'll stop by. As for the physical space, it's small. There are a couple tables, but this definitely isn't a "sit down and do work" type of cafe, which was a bummer. But they're doing a lot with a little which I can respect! For how hard their branding is carrying them, I hope to see their menu expand OR that they create some fun drinks. Sadly there weren't seasonal options when I visited, but that might sway my opinion next time! I'll update this review if I feel my experience has changed.

i went on a nice sunny day! parking was difficult to find but it is right on a train line and i bet that there is a bus that could get you there as well! i spent $20.04 + 15% tip and got a peppermint mocha and a mortadella cheese and ham sandwich warmed up. there was one person in line ahead of us and it still came out quickly! there were two workers , both were very calm and very kind. i would definitely come here to get some work done. the peppermint mocha came with a nice peppermint flavor, a physical candy cane and a light mocha flavor. it was delicious but i wish there was more presence of mocha! mortadella and cheese sandwich was literally just cheese, meat and bread heated up. it was very underwhelming for the $12 price tag. i'm almost certain that they didn't even use relax cheese not only from the flavor but the way that it slid around in the actual sandwich. there was lots of what i assumed butter or oil that dropped out when i was eating coating my hands in a greasy film. it is a very cute coffee shop! set up well on a nice street, i will definitely be back.

Charm is a real welcome addition to the coffee scene in this part of town. The coffee here is very good and is the best in this area by far. They do espresso based drinks as well as pour overs. I have had the cappuccino, latte and macchiato here and they are all great. The pastries come from Black Jett in Bernal Heights. The sandwiches they make here also look good. Happy to have this coffee shop open up.

The iced matcha was delicious at Charm coffee! Customer service was also good and helpful. The avocado toast was huge and I was excited for it but it had a very thick layer of butter on both pieces under the avocado which was unexpected and not listed in the description. As a lactose intolerant person it was not ideal. I would try other drinks here in the future.

Visited on a Sunday morning around 9am, there were a few other guest visiting but not too busy. Cafe is fairly small with maybe 10-15 seats so very cozy. Drinks: Oat nog cappuccino (8oz)- a special for the holidays, this was delicious, nice warm spices with some creaminess and a light sweetness reminiscent of eggnog, really enjoyed this because it wasn't too heavy or rich, had great balance of oat milk, espresso and eggnong flavor, definitely worth a try if you like eggnong Drip coffee - solid well balanced, nice roasted coffee flavor, not too acidic, and a standard small is 12oz Service was good, only one person at the register taking orders and making coffee so might be a small wait as they service guest but warm friendly and welcoming. Overall a nice addition to Ingleside, good coffee and espresso drinks. Pastry selection is pretty limited was just pan dulce on our visit but they have a nice small breakfast menu as well which I'd like to comeback to try.

Charm Coffee graces Ingleside as it's new coffee spot. Like its moniker, the place is charming. A few tables inside and quite cramped. It wouldn't be a spot for the typical college student trying to focus to get that B+ as they write their papers. Their coffee does taste good- props to them for picking out their coffee beans. Low acidity, smokey and gives you that boost of caffeine you need for the day. Being right on Ocean ave, parking will pose as a challenge but shouldn't be an issue for Muni riders since the K stops are within a block away.The staff were all pleasant. wishing Charm Coffee the best of luck.

New coffee shop on Ocean Avenue. Smaller, easy to choose from menu with all the classics as well as some fun flavors. Check out the seasonal options as well if you're into a fall treat!I ordered an iced snickerdoodle latte with oat milk (off the seasonal menu). My partner ordered the Dirty Chai with whole milk. Both had good you could taste and were a subtle sweet treat. I wish there was stronger cinnamon and spices, especially in the chai.Good friendly service. Indoor seating, good for a slow morning but not as much room to spread out if you're looking for a study spot. Will def be back to try their other options. I see lots of reviews about their matcha, will have to get that next time!

3.5 STARSCoffee enthusiasts can ignore my review as this is strictly for Charm Coffee's Matcha Latte. I requested an Iced Matcha Latte w/ whipped cream aka Matcha Einspänner ($7), and they came through! I was excited to see that the matcha was hand-whisked to order but sadly, the matcha latte tasted like sweetened oat milk. There was no earthy vegetal bitterness. I really liked the creamy rich, airy whipped cream tho. Small coffee shop in the Ingleside neighborhood. Tried the mocha latte today and it was really good. The chocolate is house made and syrup based not powder chocolate. The chocolate is very settle and not over powering. Coffee is really smooth.
