Quiet on a Saturday evening, only two other parties when we were dining. Service was a little slow for only having two other parties but it also looked like only one person was serving the restaurant. The meat portions were small, although the pricing is not too bad the amount of meat is kind of sparce. We paid $10-12 and only got 6 pieces of pork. $31 for the toro platter which came with only 3 pieces of each of the meats offered. If there are more than three people in your party then you'll need to order more for sure. Honestly kind of sad that they don't offer plates of banchan here.

I don't live too far from Camp BBQ and they always caught my eye. So I came with my friend on a Friday night around 8~ pm and we were shocked at how empty it was. We were seated immediately since there was nobody else in the restaurant and the waitress was very nice. The decor is very on theme of camping which was unique compared to others. The prices were very steep and the portions were very very small. There are other places in the city with better quality items and much cheaper prices. We ordered the sampler with some of their most popular/better items and we were not impressed. The meat wasn't very tasty to us and again the portions were tiny! The grill itself was faulty, only half of it worked and the other half was so strong that it was burning our items no matter how low we turned the knob. We only saw the waitress 1 time even though we were the only ones in the restaurant and the sauces and sides they gave with the meal were below average. For the pricing and quality of everything I don't think I'll be returning at all.

Recently went to Camp BBQ for the second time. Slightly expensive but the quality of the meat is good. Love the Kobe Toro. We got several servings. Restaurant was rather quiet on the last visit. Friendly service.

Not impressed, very slowwwwww service with one lady taking orders & bringing dishes out when we came. You will smell like a BBQ grill afterwards - yuck! For the amount of food, my son was still hangry, so he ordered a bowl of ramen, which was the star of the show. Small portions, don't come here if you expect to be full, only come during happy hour btw. It will cost you an arm and a leg, over $100 for just three of us, and that's HH price. Parking is horrendous on this side of the avenues. I came, I dined, I Yelped. 'Til we MEAT again (in this case never again), cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

So happy to find this place. We didn't want to wait in line at Brother's Korean BBQ. This place is awesome! It's comparable to the Yakiniku restaurants I ate in Tokyo. The dark wood interior was cozy, classy yet casual. The food was excellent, the staff were all super nice and polite, and it was surprisingly very reasonable for the food quality! For meat lovers and vegetarians this place is great. We got the ribeye, fillet mignon, kobe toro, kalbi jin and scallops. Even the crispy calamari was so good! To top off our meal we had s'mores which we assembled and cooked in front of us. Japanese yakiniku is a fun meal option for kids, families and friends! I will be coming back and bringing more family and friends! 5 stars!

Been here a few times and it never disappoint! Located in the inner Richmond, it's easily accessible by public transportation and it's usually pretty easy to find meter parking. The meat here is really good! I much prefer this over AYCE bbq. Some of must order items is the beef sampler and the chips & dips. The sampler is the perfect way to try out a few different cuts of meat to see what you prefer. This is one of my favorite Japanese bbq in the city. I always come here for dinner and get boba at little sweet a block away to end the night!

Loved the food. Got the kalbi short rib, the kalbi Chuck, hanger steak Angus grade and the skirt steak. Meat was soft so it cooked really well. Our server was very attentive, service was quick. I liked the ambience of the place, very rustic feel. I'd recommend this place

We were in SF for personal business and needed place to stop for dinner. Due to parking issue, we were checking out places. A usually Italian place around the corner from this place did not have table for us, so we decided to check out Camp. At first, we thought it was Korean BBQ. As it turns out, it's more Japanese then Korean. It was quite slow in term of customers so we had a little reservation but since we are already in, why not.The service was excellence. Server was really attentive to our needs. We were a bit surprised with the cost of the items on the menu and expected really small portion to the actual size.Food quality was top notch and we ended really enjoyed the dinner there.Cool place and great quality BBQ food choices.
