Reasonable option in the area for breakfast / brunch on the weekends. While they have multiple locations in the bay area, this location is a little on the smaller side, both in terms of seating and variety of options. The menu is still pretty extensive and there is probably something for everyone here. This last trip I got a Denver omelette and a detox smoothie. Overall the place is a good mid tier place, above fast food, but not too pricy. Service is pretty quick, but also no frills. They have a large selection of desserts as well, or if you still cant decide there is a nice patisserie next door as well.Overall, this place is solid, and on my regular list for a easy breakfast on the weekends. Also, most of the tables are on the smaller side, but I can see them putting some tables together.. so call ahead if you are bringing the entire crew.

I decided to come here to eat since I'm hungry. I'm quite surprised that they have a good location despite the one at Westfield Valley Fair Mall since that was just a food vendor at a food court. I like how colorful the menu is. I honestly thought that this is just a regular cafe, but it's more than that. It's the way that they prepared the food as if it's a five-star restaurant. Food is really good and also like how they display the food from the display bars. It's definitely one of the go to places if you want to stop by and eat if you're hungry. Highly recommended to try out this place!

Came here for breakfast and the Nutella Belgian waffle I had was insaneee. It was the best craving satisfier. The coffee was delicious too! I will say there's not a ton of seating, and I had to wait a while. But I was alone and enjoying myself so not much to complain about. I'll come back again next time I layover in San Francisco!

There's a variety of breakfast items and snacks. They also have different types of sandwiches. When we came in we just wanted coffee and snacks. So we picked up a couple different cookies. I got the Sweet Sydney's chocolate chip and Ginger Snap and cafe centrals own chocolate chip cookie. They were soft and chewy like how I like it. The coffee was nice and strong. Service was fast and friendly. You could sit in and enjoy your treats or you can just order to go. Ambiance, it's a cafe: I like their light fixtures. So, there's a counter where you order and a few tables. Nothing fancy. If you're in the city and need a quick grab and go come here.

If you are staying around Union Square and want to avoid the sky high hotel breakfast or the Denny's style all American menu this place is great.Good pour over coffee and decent bakery breakfast as well as variety of hot meals at reasonable downtown SF prices

A great breakfast spot near Union Square with a wide selection of sandwiches, egg dishes, bowls, toasts, and sweet baked goods. It's nice that they display all their dishes, so you can see the fresh ingredients and know exactly what's inside.

Loved my experience here. They have displays for all the food options which made deciding a lot easier. I appreciated the service and how clean everything was kept. Our bowls were $12 each and tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely will be returning.

With the reviews, I was kind of skeptical about this place, but I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by all the food we received!Ordered the espresso and the cuban latte. My latte was delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness for me with the condensed milk. The food was delicious!! We ordered the barn burner and the avocado bacon toast. The barn burner came with waffles, bacon, and sunny side eggs. The eggs itself were really oily. The bacon was thinly sliced and super crunchy. The waffles were sooo good- very moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Avocado toast and bacon was also delicious with the arugula. It was a generous portion and tasty. This place had a cute and cozy vibe for brunch. Prices were what is to be expected (I believe it was about $45 for the 2 dishes and drinks) but food surpassed our expectations. Its a seat yourself type of place. Would come back again if I'm ever around the area!

Super happy I came here. I was starring at the long line at Starbucks and deep down inside didn't want to spend my money there and was desperate for some caffeine. I did quick google search and a 8 minute walk later from my hotel and I was swept in with the sweet aroma of breakfast, coffee, a contagious energy, and laughter of the people sitting and enjoying their time here. I arrived here at 830am. It was packed. Wasn't really sure where the line to order was. There is a counter immediately to your right. I asked the employee and she kindly redirected me to the other counter where I could order. That was kinda odd. Not sure what that counter is for. But either way, it was a quick service. I asked for a mint tea. There wasn't a traditional, straight up mint tea. But the cashier showed me a couple of different options that had spearmint in it. I went with one of them whose name eludes me and then later I came back and had a dirty chai latte. Visually the place is a lot to take in. There are menus on the wall as well as physical menus. There is food on display all over and there are a lot of options from croissants to muffins to fruits etc. plus there are options to actually sit and eat a protein bowl or crepes or waffles etc. There are about 10 tables inside and an additional 5 or so outside. It could fit maybe 50 people inside if I had to guess. It's also a colorful place which is inviting and warm. I come to San Fran often and I can see myself coming back again. 4 stars for it being a visually appealing spot and for a solid drink menu. I didn't have any of the food. It looked good tho. But since I haven't had it yet I would refrain from giving it a 5 until then. The price for drinks was pretty decent. Maybe a little cheaper than most coffee spots. But the food seemed a bit on the higher end than what I would be willing to spend.
