The pastries here taste delicious. The outer crusts are flaky and fillings are yummy.

The food is good, but I feel like the lady behind the counter is making her own prices or the menu on yelp needs to be updated. The coxhina's are $4 on the site and they became $5 to $6 a few months ago and now they are $10 each. There are no prices posted and no receipt given.

The food is absolutely amazing. The pastries were hot and delicious. The counter person was extremely nice. The location is inside the convenience store and parking could be challenging. The ambiance is a convenience store so it was well stocked and food and drinks. Dim lighting and the store was very warm. Based on pastries only I will definitely be back.

This is a definite a hidden gem, it's tucked away in the back of a small corner grocery store but their baked goods are delicious! I love the savory filling and they are reasonably priced, will stop by again for sure.

Just beware the $17 açaí is a tall coffee cup size, made with frozen scoops of açaí sorbet (not even blended) and half a banana, one sliced strawberry, with POWDERED MILK sprinkled in between. Was very excited to come here but I was expecting... more. Coxinhas were good. Beware, she tells you to eat first, not pay. Then when it's time to pay, ALAS she only takes Zelle, no credit card option, so I had to use the in store ATM to get cash and my bank charges for using outside ATMs. $5 extra just to pay her. Bad experience overall unfortunately.

3.5 STARSCOVID-19 TAKEOUT A Brazilian friend raved about Café Raízes and how it reminded her of home. I immediately went to Yelp to check out the reviews. Except there were none....after being open for 5 months, maybe longer. Several weeks passed and still none... what's up with that? Ok, we're going to have to change that! After visiting, now I know why... Café Raízes is hidden inside Andrea's Market. They're offering takeout and delivery via 3rd party apps.Hours of operation: Call before visiting. Conflicting hours of operation on website vs. IG vs. phone confirmation. M E N U* Açaí bowls, tapioca crepes, empada (savory mini pies), salgados (Brazilian savory snacks), bolos (cakes), sandwiches, juices, smoothies, and coffee. They also serve Feijoada as a special on certain days; call to confirm. M Y O R D E R* Dragon Fruit & Mango Smoothie ($9) I enjoyed the tropical flavors; it was refreshing and tart (like a kiwi). Didn't taste the mangoes though. * Coxinha: Shredded Chicken w/ cheese wrapped in dough ($4)* Quibe Queijo: Seasoned ground beef wrapped in dough ($4)Unfortunately, both the salgados were completely cold and the coxinha had a thick layer of dough (maybe an off batch). Perhaps, you can request them to be warmed up? If you're in the Millbrae/SSF/San Bruno area and looking for a healthy start to your day or some savory snacks, give Café Raízes a try!

This is the most authentic Brazilian Açaí I've had! The owner was the sweetest and the good was delicious.

Sweet lady running it but she only used one strawberry and a fourth of a banana for a $17.00 açaí smoothie. Not worth the money or my time.
