Quick ordering but lines can form at busy time so make sure to get there early! Indoor & lots of outdoor seating. Casual breakfast/brunch place that's gets busy/loud so good for groups/families but seating is first come first serve. Affordable breakfast in the bay.

A spacious and inviting brunch spot with an extensive menu and both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a versatile choice for any dining preference. We tried the chimichurri chicken panini and the minestrone soup. Both dishes were simple but satisfying. The panini had a nice balance of flavors, with the chimichurri adding a bright, herby kick to the tender chicken. The minestrone soup was hearty and comforting, a good option for something lighter.

Interior was so cute with Christmas decorations. The line would ebb and flow, with moments of a long line and no line. It went by quickly because they had two cashiers.Ordered the season special: barbacoa wrap. Meat was very flavorful with beans and onions. Also ordered the egg white scramble, which was basically egg whites and tomatillo sauce. Wouldn't get it by itself, but it was a nice side to the wrap.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Over priced, Over Hyped. It seems as the quality of the food has decreased. The service was good and friendly. Nice location with plenty of parking underground. Just not what it was.

Ample parking in the underground garage. Cafe was located in a cute plaza with a lot of other stores (eg bookstore and a bakery). It was unexpectedly crowded on a Friday morning. The food was excellent, my cappuccino was nice and creamy and my breakfast sandwich had generous portions and was cooked well. I was impressed by the price and quality of the food here. And despite there being a large crowd, there was ample seating. Perfect place to study or enjoy the sunshine. Would definitely return again.

This is a hidden gem! Well sort of lol it's on El Camino Real has wonderful outdoor seating and always a lot of people there :-) super friendly staff wonderful food and I'm so excited now because now they're open on Mondays they normally close on Mondays and Tuesdays and that makes me so sad because that's a social place to go. They're working on opening on Tuesdays I guess so I am so happy. I hope they end up seven days a week You gotta try this place.

It's a fantastic spot for brunch and excellent coffee. I initially went there for iced coffee but ended up trying the frosted mocha ($10). While it's a bit pricey for a drink, it was worth it! It wasn't overly sweet, and I confirmed it was caffeinated, which was perfect for my craving for something sweet with a caffeine boost. I'll definitely return to explore the brunch menu next time. The outdoor seating areas around the fountain are great, too!Just a heads up, it can get really crowded on Saturdays!

A local favorite for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in the Peninsula! They have an extensive menu with egg scrambles, sandwiches, a variety of sweet breakfast items, and a drink menu with and without alcohol. They have lots of tables and it's a great spot to grab a bite with friends.I came here for a quick lunch with a couple of friends and my pup and I decided to order the burrata. My friend recommended the shaken maple latte and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The drink was beautiful, perfectly sweet, and paired well with the oat milk. The burrata was also good with fresh arugula and grilled peaches.

As others have mentioned, Cafe Borrone is an institution in Menlo Park! It's been family-owned and serving the community since 1979, making so many of their offerings by hand, using local and sustainable ingredients. We frequented Cafe Borrone for 10 years when we lived in the area, then moved away. On our recent visit, we were thrilled to see them still open and thriving!Order at the counter. There's almost always a line so don't be deterred. It moves quickly. Get a number and then find a table inside or outside on their sprawling patio. We found a shaded outdoor table and our food was brought out to us pretty quickly. We shared:Organic Beet Salad: Roasted Organic Beets, Grapefruit, Pickled Fennel, Avocado, Goat Cheese, & House Balsamic Vinaigrette*this is a beet salad, not a green salad - super light and refreshing flavor combo!C.A.T.S. sandwich: Jarlsberg Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Sprouts, (no Mayonnaise) on Baguette*my favorite! Just as good as ever. We used to order this To-Go, to take on flights or trips into the city. It carries well.Gouda Sandwich (see "House Focaccia Specials" on the menu): Zoe's Turkey, Smoked Gouda, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, Organic Mixed Greens,(no Mayonnaise), Served on House Focaccia*soft, delicious focaccia, caramelized onions for the win! To drink we had an unsweetened iced tea and an iced matcha. They offer a full array of espresso beverages, as well some wine and beer options. They serve breakfast, bakery items, lunch, and afternoon bites 5 days a week, and dinner is available on Saturdays and Sundays. There's a parking garage below the cafe. What a treat to enjoy Cafe Borrone again! We'll be back!

Love this place. I love the apple pancakes - super soft and fluffy, and only lightly sweetened with some powdered sugar. Also love the Gouda sandwich with house made focaccia. The focaccia bread is super soft and fluffy, and the sandwich is a nice mix of savory Gouda, caramelized onions, turkey and tomato. Didn't love the eggs with crème fraiche - it was bitter. I want to try the other egg dishes next time.
