The guy who works here is awesome. I had literally a minute to step in and grab a soda before the 2-Clement arrived. My soda in hand, I handed the guy a five. He shouted, "Wow, lots of money! Big spender!" in this crazy gameshow-host voice. He then counted my change back to me very deliberately.I made it onto the bus just fine. I didn't have time to look at the rest of their selection, but the soda was a little bit steep. Still, it was cold, and I like weird corner-store characters.

"One-One-Nine-Nine Te-Kah-Tay Pah-Tee Too-Night!" That made me look in wonderment and joy. Family run store with personality. That's what I want in my life.I fell in love with this place after that. They have a great scotch selection and real decent prices on their shooters. I love shooters.

Just moved to the area and wanted to get something different to try out. I like the neat arrangements and their selection of beer and wine! They even have those exquisite imported rare wines at reasonable prices. The man the cashier who guards the front desk is very informative and he certainly knows the answer to every question (yes, he answered all my newbie questions). Friendly, good prices, easily accessible and close to home. The best part is that credit cards are accepted for each $10 purchase. Yay!

love this place, not only because it's the reliable purveyor of my sunday morning misery, but because of the super sweet couple that run the place. the man really is a charmer, with his signature, "big pahh-teee tonight? big pahh-tee!!" line every time i walk in (to buy liq or not) and his wife gave me and my roommate some fresh rosemary from their garden one time. who does that!??the smirnoff is almost always on special too, which is a plus. minus 1 star for closing at 10 pm (what is this? utah?)

A little hole in the wall liquor store with just the nicest couple. I've been going here for 20 years. He has even given me discounts because I'm such a regular customer. Just a real nice guy.

This is an old school liquor store just the way I like it. Every time I walk inside the owner says 'Beer Party!', as he knows I'm probably gonna buy a few cans. Kenny and his wife are real local celebrities, very kind and genuine with a wicked sense of humor once you engage. Living in a city with lots of small local retailers who are all struggling I make the effort to buy basic supplies here, like chocolate, toilet paper, beer etc..

Ken and his wife own this quaint store, which is located near the corner of 10th and Clement. A bus stop sits literally in front of the store and plenty of street parking, including a hidden lot on 9th between Clement and Geary, is nearby. They are very friendly patrons, who provide service with a smile. While the wine selection cannot obviously approach the options offered by a wine purveyor, it is surprisingly good. The spirits and beer selection is more than adequate. To keep San Francisco culture the way it has been, it is important to patronize establishments like Cable car Liquors.
