"My friends and I love to cap a night out in San Francisco with a visit to the mint. It's become a tradition for us to stumble in after a long night and get some affordable drinks and scream sing our hearts out. I've been to several karaoke clubs in SF and while some might have better ambiance, the Mint has a charm that makes you feel right at home."
"I've been here a couple times now, but our second time was the BEST. We decided to throw a birthday party for my nephew, who was home from college. We reserved a private Karaoke room for AYCE hot pot and it was FUN. We ordered a ton of appetizers, meats, veggies, sashimi, rice, noodles, fruit and drinks. We had three different hot pots that were split, so six different broths. It was $44 for each adult for the private room (All you can eat and drink), Like $19 for kids and my 3 year old was free. I was worried that the kids would not like to do the hot pot, but they loved getting served. When we weren't sharing plates, we were passing that mic. Even people who didn't want to sing, had a blast and were picking songs. It was so fun, we all had a blast and left so full."
"3.5 stars. AYCE hot pot or kbbq dinner for $32.99 per person. We decided to try their hot pot option. They offer shared or individual pots. And we liked that there's also a split option for individual pots. Ordering is through a phone app, which is not too convenient when you're doing AYCE with multiple people. We were limited to 3 items per person per round, which seemed restrictive but actually not. The menu though was smaller compared to other places we've been to. We enjoyed the supreme beef and lamb, other meats were fine. They could do better with portion sizes. We only got 4 pieces of shrimp, mussels, fish tofu each in one order but then bowl full of fish filet and squid. There was so much that it felt like we were given a whole filet and squid. Vegetable options were also limited and sadly not fresh. Some were frozen and others were old and browning. But there were enough items we liked and we left very full.Parking: the plaza is under construction right now, so parking can be challenging."
"In a city where happy hour is increasingly expensive, Taisho offers an affordable happy hour with a good variety of food options! My friend and I went on a Tuesday evening and there were a few other groups but it didn't fill up, so it was nice to still be able to hold a conversation without shouting. We ordered the Taisho fries, kalua pork nachos, and katsu curry, along with a pint of Sapporo each. I do wish there were more drink options on the HH menu, but the food options made up for it. We were shocked that even the entrees only cost $6 at most, and the portions were decent too. While the food wasn't anything outstanding, it was definitely solid and I'm glad nothing was too salty (especially the fries and nachos). There was a good amount of pork in the nachos too, and for my fellow cilantro haters, take comfort in knowing the pico de gallo didn't have any - phew! I do wish the katsu curry had a bit more curry though, as the ratio to meat seemed a bit off, but I enjoyed how crispy the katsu was. Taisho fries were solid too, though it's hard to go wrong with potato! Our server checked on us pretty regularly, though honestly it would've been fine if she left us alone a tad more LOL introvert problems. The one thing was that the tables were super sticky - not sure if just ours or if they're all like that. Overall, this is a great affordable happy hour spot and I would def come back!"

Service is great! Drinks are only $10. They're cash only. ATM inside, just in case. Always a fun time.

Little hidden gem that tastes good and is inexpensive, all you can eat and drink for like $30 a person if you go during the lunch happy hour is an AMAZING deal. They have really yummy canned Asian drinks (my favorite is the lychee) that are so good and UNLIMITED. I usually have 2 so that's like $6 on its own. You get to choose two different soup flavors (even if you're eating by yourself or a buddy). The meats are pretty decent quality. The food they have on their menu is really good as well.Obviously this isn't the healthiest food, but if you're trying to fill your stomach on a budget, this place is perfect for that!!! Service is quick, you usually get your soup / food within 15 minutes, and the place usually has a lot of people so you know it's pretty good. It's really fun to cook yourself too. The sauce bar and dessert is great too.I recommend: house spicy soup, the non fatty steak, the orange glazed chicken, sesame balls, honestly just get anything that looks good it's UNLIMITED and they don't really care about leftovers.

Great service, food, ambiance, and prices. I've only been here once in March of '25 but was impressed with everything. This is my first time eating hot pot, but I was very happy with the whole experience; my girlfriend who has been to many hot pots also approved. I can't wait to return to this all you can eat/drink alcohol, snacks, desserts, and clean space.

We were looking for some fresh eats on Tuesday after an awesome Warriors game! Taisho was where we ended up..We were greeted by friendly people, sat at a nice clean table..The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the smells were wafting through the place..Wonderful aroma..We had some Tempura veggies to share, I had the teriyaki chicken and rice, really good.My guy had a the Katsu Curry dish, he loved it..We also shared some coleslaw..Everything was so good..We were offered some Dole Whip, but sadly it was all out..Next time..I'd definitely come back..Thanks for being open..Great place, excellent service.

Had dinner here with the family and had a karaoke room! Kids loved singing at the top of their lungs to Kpop songs, while I was enjoying the delicious food! Service was great. 5/5 would recommend and definitely coming back for more dinners!

Believe it or not, this wasn't my first time at a Japanese-Mongolian restaurant. There was one called Eurasia at a strip mall on San Pablo Avenue in Richmond. It was pretty good, but it closed and turned into a straight-up Mongolian dumpling house. Mind you, they weren't offering a fusion menu. There were Japanese dishes separate from the Mongolian ones, and such was the case here. In fact, there's no mention of the Mongolian specialties on their website. Out of curiosity, I dropped by for a light dinner.I stuck with a few Japanese items. First up was the $11.95 Vegetable Tempura, a lightly crisped combination of sweet potato, broccoli florets, mushrooms, zucchini slices, and onion rings (photo: https://yelp.to/gy3oDR0TB1). This was followed by the $9.95 Steamed Chicken Gyoza, a half dozen dumplings with just the right consistency (photo: https://yelp.to/yG4_zizFqH). I left room for dessert and ordered the $6.25 Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream, just two mochi but just enough to end my meal (photo: https://yelp.to/WlVYvbGA47).FOOD - 4 stars...I can vouch for the Japanese side of the menu...good stuffAMBIANCE - 4 stars...fairly serene for 16th StreetSERVICE - 4 stars..,cordial and timely TOTAL - 4 stars...gotta try the Mongolian side next timeRELATED - Exploring the Mission? First time eating at this sakesan, I've eaten in the one near ocean Avenue and really enjoyed it so was happy to have stumbled into this in Clement st. We ordered the omakase and also got a sushi roll. The toro was really good, the other fish were kind of tough with the connective tissues, making it chewy and hard to break apart when eating it. For the rice in the omakase nigiris, they were a little hard and crunchy. I was a little disappointed. Would recommend the toro tho and also the Inside out sushi roll. We saw that they have tasting for tunas and that would have been a better route instead of the omakase as we only enjoyed the toro. The place was really comfortable and I like how it had such a family friendly vibe. There was a party in one of the private rooms with karaoke, such a good idea to combine sushi and karaoke! :) Overall, staff were very friendly and attentive. Good vibes in the place, disappointed with the omakase pieces and the rice but would explore maybe ordering just the rolls and robatas with karaoke.

"The restaurant is new to the inner Richmond and is open for dim sum during the day and full dinner menu in the evenings. We had dinner there and received great service and very tasty food. We ordered a chicken and corn soup - was much larger than we expected. The chicken is diced - much better than some places that have ground chicken. We also ordered the sizzling short rib plate - meat is tender with a very nice peppery sauce. My favorite was the Egg Tofu over Pea Sprouts - the egg tofu was delicious while the pea sprouts were tender. And to top things off - we got a bowl of mango pudding that was also very good. You should check it out and support our local Richmond restaurant!!"
"My favorite place in the city for Mongolian Food! Try the Mongolian Dumpling Soup, which has a heart beefy flavor with succulent dumplings and little strips of beef. Perfect for a rainy day.The ambience is warm, muted greys and earthtones, and lounge-like with chill out music and TVs on but now too loud. Not too crowded. Good date night spot to try something new!"
"First time at the Clement Sakesan. Came for happy hour and was not disappointed. Very good pricing for the quality of food. Extremely attentive service that always has needs in mind. Takoyaki was solid, roll with unagi hit the spot and the mackerel was fantastic. Seated in those sunken tables for the most fun experience."
