Chicken Coconut Curry and Coconut Rice were amazing. So full right now. Server was very friendly as well. Great hidden gem in the avenues.

This place never misses. Every time I come here, I leave wondering why I don't eat here more often (though, to be fair, I'm already here pretty often since it's in my neighborhood). This time, I got the Chin Baung Hin Yay (fish & sour leaf soup), and it was everything I wanted--light but rich, deeply flavorful, and just incredibly balanced. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth soft, the broth had this perfect tang, and every spoonful just hit.And their coconut rice? Unreal. Soft, fragrant, slightly sweet--just perfect with my favorite curry here, the Golden Tofu Curry. The tofu is ridiculously soft, the sauce is packed with flavor, and the whole thing is just comforting in the best way.The service? Always top-notch. The vibes? Perfectly cozy and welcoming, with just the right amount of energy. I've been here a few times now, tried their tea leaf salad and a bunch of curries, and every single time, I'm blown away. If you haven't been here yet, fix that immediately!

Excellent burmese food! The tea leaf salad was delicious - no romaine or anything like that, just some cabbage and all the special delicious good stuff. The roti with potato curry surprisingly was surprisingly flavorful, highly recommended.Wow, wow, wow for the pork with pickled mango - tender, tangy, hard to stop eating!Similarly the beef with lemongrass, although milder flavored, was rich, tender, and totally satisfying.Garlic noodles were the only meh dish of the evening, they could be skipped.Overall this was *much* better than our last takeout from one of the more famous Burmese restaurants.

The restaurant is very cute and staff are so friendly! I have a hard time giving it a 3 for these reasons, but we are big fans of Burmese food and we were disappointed. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains and they were all more on the bland side, not the spices and vibrant flavor with Burmese dishes. It was all good, but more average taste. The staff were great, but we were underwhelmed with the food.

An absolute delight. I decided to write this after my Burma superstar review (which I honestly gave 1 star). Cause really, this place was miles ahead.Burmese Kitchen had dishes that were made with care and attention. The taste alone left me dreaming an image of me with more of the food in takeout boxes, ready to eat for the next day. I loved every dish that was made for me - each one providing unique sets of flavors that separated me from my body as I ascended to flavor heaven.Let me tell you, if Burma superstar is having a long line, consider it a blessing in disguise. This is the place to be.

We chose this spot for a casual 70th birthday dinner and everyone was happy. The restaurant had a number of vegan options and all of the food was fresh. This is a family run restaurant which exudes a pride of ownership. Skip the pricey places and make your way over here instead. Seriously. Service was top notch too. We had chicken, noodles, eggplant, green beans and tea salad- all fabulous!

Definitely get the Roti and Potato Curry. A side of Jasmine Rice to go with any other entree is good too.

I've known about this restaurant for years but for some reason I kept going to Superstar, BStar, BLove. For years, I slept on this spot. Now I know what I have been missing. Burmese Kitchen is a dreamland for those who like spicy bold flavors. We ordered the falafel, chicken curry, fish curry, and biryani rice. Every single dish was distinctive and bold. We also ordered the fresh lime juice which was one of the best beverages I've ever had. It was fresh, ever so slightly sweetened and the perfect foil to the spicy food. While I didn't have a good experience with the service, the excellent food more than made up for that. I will definitely be back.

The people are awesome, but the food is the best - in a neighborhood with several Burmese restaurant options, this is by far the best one. The tea leaf salad is a 10/10 and the best version I've tasted in America. Mohinga and lemongrass beef curry is also awesome. Spicy lotus root was a great surprise too. Can't go wrong with anything here.
