I loved the environment and the buildings mixture between renovation and timed decor . The staff were amazing and even made a personal accommodation for my party . The food was amazing! The oysters being fresh and prepared right in front of me to the lobster roll containing a pleasant portion of lobster .

Service was nice and quick! The seating area is also very clean. If you love lobster I highly recommend their world famous lobster roll! It was very delicious. I do wish there was a slightly bigger lemon wedge to pair with the lobster, but overall it was a delicious choice!Note: they do validate parking if you spend $25+ at the Ghirardelli (excluding weekends)

Came here for the oysters and it didn't disappoint! When we walked in the staff were really welcoming and recommended really great dishes we tried. The view is nice since it's in ghirardelli square. We ordered the oyster, calamari, and uni pasta. The star was definitely the oysters. They were really fresh and paired well with the sauce. The pasta was also so creamy would definitely recommend ordering! The calamari was good but isn't something i would order again.

My friend and I had been craving some caviar, so we decided to search for restaurants serving it for lunch. I don't normally enjoy caviar on seafood--it's usually been a pairing I prefer with poultry--but it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and we felt like treating ourselves.Located in Ghirardelli Square, Broad Street Oyster Co. is easy to miss since most people are drawn to the chocolate shop or the dim sum spot across the way. The restaurant itself wasn't very crowded, and the ordering process is straightforward--you order at the front, and they give you a numbered stand to identify your table. For my meal, I ordered the Calamari and the "World Famous Lobster Roll (Warm with Butter and Caviar)", which came out to a whopping $70. This is definitely a "treat yourself" kind of day! The lobster roll was delicious--the buttery, soft bread and the tender lobster made every bite indulgent. However, the caviar didn't really elevate it. For the price, I expected the caviar to add something extra, but it didn't stand out enough to justify the cost. I finished the roll in just four bites, so while tasty, it felt like a pricey indulgence. The calamari, on the other hand, was bland. The marinara sauce helped save it, but the strong onion flavor in the sauce wasn't ideal. My friend ordered the "World Famous Lobster Roll (Chilled with Mayo)" and said it was just okay. He also got the Sea Urchin Spaghetti, which I got to try. It was creamy and had a hint of uni flavor, but I wish the uni had been more prominent--it felt a little underwhelming.Overall, I think this spot is just okay. The food wasn't bad, but for the price, the value just isn't there. The lobster roll was the highlight, but even with caviar, it didn't deliver enough to make it memorable. This place feels like it's tailored more for SF tourists looking for a casual bite rather than serious seafood lovers.

Great service, food, beers, and ambiance. The theme is Jaws the movie themed and it's super nostalgic and awesome. They even have a CRT TV with old school VHS movies playing including Jaws of course.Ordered the french fries with old bay aioli sauce, lobster roll warm with butter, lobster roll chilled with mayo, board street oyster co. x san francisco brewing co gold rush hazy IPA and the 21st amendment brewery brew free! or die IPA.The french fries came out first and wow they came out hot and tasty. I loved the seasoning on the fries and it came out crisp with tender potato inside! It stayed crispy throughout the entire meal! They give you a small container of aioli sauce so I had to ask for another halfway through the fries, but they gladly gave us a 2nd container!OK, since they had lobster roll that was warm with butter and chilled with mayo, I HAD TO TRY BOTH and boy was I glad I did. The warm with butter was mediocre and I did not taste much of the butter, but overall it was a good lobster and satisfied my lobster roll craving. However, the lobster roll chilled with mayo was surprisingly the star of the meal. It was flavorful and I really enjoyed the mayo mix they used! I thought I would love the warm with butter more, but I definitely enjoyed the chilled with mayo much more. The deers were delicious as well. The 21st Amendment Brewery's Brew Free! Or Die IPA is a classic staple of that brewery and always glad to drink on tap. I never tried the Board Street Oyster Co. X San Francisco Brewing Co collaboration beer, Gold Rush Hazy IPA, and thus I had to give it a try. It was a flavorful Hazy IPA that I could drink multiple of! It wasn't too hoppy and went well with the lobster rolls!I will definitely return to Broad Street Oyster Co., especially for the fries and lobster roll chilled with mayo!

The food was good. Clam chowder hit the spot a classic must have e when in the city. The fish tacos were crispy and veg was just enough. My daughter had the salad. It was well seasoned and the anchovies on top were a classic touch. The service was meh, you order at the counter when you first walk in. Ok that's whatever. But then they ask for a tip. I'm not a fan of tipping if I don't know how the service is. I tip on your performance. You spoil me $$$, you hit me up front with out any pizzaz "0" . And you have to go get your own waters. I'm not a fan of working when I'm out paying for a meal. That's just me. The ambiance of the place is bright and has good views of the bay. Overall the food was good and service was..... idk, they took our order and brought food out. Never to be seen again. I probably won't be back. But check it out for yourself, I could be wrong.

Is this place expensive yes it's by the beach in SF with fresh seafood it's not gonna be cheap. I will say $27 for the lobster roll was a little over priced even though it was delicious it was small and you had to pay another $6 for fries. The clam chowder in the boudin bread bowl was with every penny of the $20, it was some of the best clam chowders I've had and the fried shrimp on top was an amazing addition and of course the boudin bread bowl is the only way to go in SF. We really enjoyed the freshness of the crab Louie salad and it had a huge scoop of crab salad on top of the fresh crisp greens. Many in our party got the smash burger which they said was well cooked and had the perfect crust that a good smash butter should have. The fires were a little inconsistent on the cook while some has a beautiful double fry for perfect crispness some were undercooked and limp. The fish tacos were another great dish for the price lots of fresh fried fish accompanied by chips and salsa this is a better dish for the price for sure. Overall we all enjoyed our meals but like most lobster rolls I've ever had they are small and overpriced but good nonetheless.

I came to this restaurant before on my very first Yelp event and it was amazing. I knew I had to come back here at some point so here I am. I ordered 2 of the world famous lobster rolls. One warm w/butter and uni. The other chilled w/mayo and caviar. I also got the raw oysters (half) and the hard lemonade. The lobster rolls were immaculate. The oysters were pretty solid as well. The hard lemonade was sweet but not overpowering which I liked. I also liked that the food came out in a timely fashion. To order here you grab a menu and when you are ready to order, you order up front. The restaurant is located in Ghirardelli Square which is one of the more touristy areas in SF. There is a serviceable amount of table seating as well as bar seating available. Surprisingly parking here isn't a big issue. There's a huge indoor garage parking nearby. In Summary, this place is great. Definitely a spot I recommend checking out. Try it out if you like. :)

This place has definitely exceeds my expectations when it comes to seafood. Me and my girlfriend were around pier and wanted to try some cioppino and decided to go with this place. Located in the heart of ghirardelli square, surprisingly not very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Parking is a bit tough because of San Francisco and how popular of a spot the area it's in. The restaurant sits on top of a hill which gives you a nice view of the ocean! Service was absolutely amazing, the cashier rung us right away which caught me by surprise because we immediately thought it was going to be fast food. When our waiter brought our appetizer and mains, I'd tell you it was absolutely stunning to see how good everything looks. The oysters are a bit small to our liking but still each one of them were super fresh. The lobster roll is an absolute must, they really pack a ton of protein in that sandwich. The clam chowder was creamy and milky just the way we love it. Best of all the cioppino was the cherry on top which came with crab, mussels, jumbo shrimp and 2 slices of garlic bread. Overall, a highly recommended place to try out if you are in the area and craving Ciopinno or seafood because they make everything super fresh and delicious here!
