We came for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon and they had plenty of seating! The ferry building is usually packed with tourists and farmers market visitors on Saturday, but this place felt remarkably relaxed. For 4 people, we ordered a Caesar salad, 4 arancini, the Mt Blanc Flatbread, the Ford Flatbread (with cauliflower and ricotta), and the Turkish flatbread. All the flatbreads were so delicious with unique ingredients, and the Turkish flatbread was incredibly crisp. A hidden gem in a busy tourist destination :)

Overall, very good food. But, the bar style, community seating was not comfortable. We were able to get in for lunch during the week without a reservation. They served 2 of us 10 minutes before the 3rd person in our group. So we waited, sort of, and it made for an awkward experience.

I was just walking around the ferry building and saw they had a Mediterranean style pizza on the menu that sounded delicious. I was at first hesitant because... $30 but it was very tasty. It had ground lamb, lebnah, and cilantro amongst other things. I topped mine with chili flakes and it hit the spot. Service was attentive and friendly, no complaints here

Service was great, food exceptional. We had the Lola Siempre; my sis & I shared the crab salad w/ endives, grapefruit /tangerine. I was a little bummed cuz of the limited choices of non-alcoholic beverages.

Objectively, some of the worst food I've eaten in the City. The crudo plate had extremely fishy tasting salmon and everything else was bland. We got two pizzas/flatbreads and both were lackluster, dull, and boring. The polpette pizza had tart marinara and the "meatballs" tasted like cheap pizza sausage from Round Table. The musa pizza was dull and missing seasoning. Giving them an extra star because we had a lovely server, but otherwise consider this place overpriced and horrible food.

I have been craving a delicious pizza for over a month now, and I even went to Italy and on the off chance only had okay pizzas. Even my favorite go-to pizza place in the Castro has been disappointing. HOWEVER, this place HIT THE SPOT. Good date atmosphere but also had a lot of families in there when we went. Server checked on us often. Food came out fast. Dessert was okayyy. I would probably try someplace else in the ferry building for the sweet stuff but I am close by so will definitely be back for pizza.

Came here for a team dinner after planning and it was nice! Service was attentive for our large party and the long communal tables worked well for our setup.Margherita Pizza: this was solid! I'm not enough of a pizza connoisseur to critique the ins and outs of a pizza unless it's incredibly good or incredibly bad. This was definitely on the good end with a light, crispy, and chewy crust, a good amount of sauce, and good cheese. They add burrata, which I love.Musa Pizza: this was solid as well, but not quite what we expected. It's more like a Mediterranean flatbread than a pizza because there is no underlying sauce, instead a spiced lamb puree on top of the crust (the puree is a bit coarse, which I prefer) drizzled with white sauce. I appreciate them mixing things up, and I love Mediterranean flavors so I thought this was good and definitely more filling than a standard pizza. Ginger Roll Cake: really lovely and inventive. I feel like ginger desserts aren't all that popular outside of gingerbread -- and people build with it more than eat it if that tells you anything -- but I think it's such an amazing and sophisticated flavor for something sweet! So love that they leaned in on the ginger, and the actual roll cake was nice and fluffy. I feel this dessert would be such a cute tea-time treat.Walnut Cake: I thought this would be a hit for me because I love dense and rich desserts, but while this was dense, it was not rich. Honestly a bit dry and crumbly. The flavor was good though.Olive Oil Cake: some of my team members really loved this, but I was a bit let down honestly. My first note, again, is texture. For a cake with oil in the name, I expected quite a bit of richness, but this was barely richer than a sponge. My second note is the lack of olive oil flavor. I kind of would like to be punched in the face with it, but, again, this tasted more like a sponge. The cream and fruit on the side were lovely though.Overall, Boulettes Larder is a solid option if you are looking for interesting eats in the Ferry Building.

Nice restaurant . Can be romantic because of the dim light. It is not that busy . The pizza was light . It is French themed .

The food was amazing. I tried something new and out of my comfort zone, the cured salmon salad with fresh baked flat bread and it was delicious. My issue was the service. Sara assisted me from the beginning and it was awkward. There was a seat open at bar and asked to sit there she sat me at a communal table, which was fine but took a bit for her to come back. Ok fine it's the Holidays. What makes me give 3 stars is: I ordered a second glass of 15 wine, on top of the 28 cured salmon salad so my bill is at 60. I don't think I took 2 sips and she walks up and ask me "did someone check you out". I was taken a back and said no. She comes back with the bill and I ask her "oh is the communal table reserved for a party" and she said no. It made me feel like she didn't trust I was going to pay my bill. I'm a six figure executive that could drive business there, however while the food was great service is more important to me when spending my hard hard money. I did tip but she didn't get my usually 25%. On 62 bill I gave her 10.

Good service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious pizzas! We shared one wood-fired pepperoni pizza. The crust was fluffy yet crispy. There was plenty of cheese, and the pepperonis were crispy with herbal flavors. The tomato sauce tasted incredibly fresh, with visible bits of mashed tomatoes. We didn't have high expectations because the restaurant is in a touristy area, but we were impressed. We can't wait to try the other pizzas!Prices are on the higher end, of course.
