I came on a Saturday after a fitness class and it wasn't too busy. There were a few people in front of us, but overall the time it took to order and have our food ready was fairly quick. There is an indoor seating in the back if you want a place to sit and eat your bagel otherwise there's also a few coffee shops down the street that have benches if you're in the mood for that. I haven't had a good bagel in San Francisco in a while and honestly, this is my new favorite. I am a savory bagel kind of gal so I opted for the garlic bagel with chive cream cheese and I like some crunch so I got cucumbers. The bagel was so good. It was soft, warm and perfectly flavorful! They do offer bulk as well as tubs of cream cheese So I would definitely wanna come back and get a dozen next time

Closest thing to a NY bagel I've found so far, at least I enjoyed the chewiness though it could potentially be thicker and fluffier. When I came, they ran out of plain bagels, so I went with an onion bagel which they burnt unfortunately. I added avocado and red onion, which was generous and delicious. The sesame bagel I had was much better (not burnt), and I could taste the potential; hopefully the plain will be available next time. My husband preferred his everything bagel with chive cream cheese to the eggything (bit dry) with pink label (didn't taste that whipped). We both wished the bagels came a little bit warmer. No indoor seating at this location, just a small bench outside. Make sure to stick around as they do try to remember your face to hand you your food, which was really nice. Parking was a bit tough for us to find, and also on the pricier side, but the neighborhood is quite nice and idyllic. Wish there were a location closer to me (southern half of the city).

I haven't had a bagel sandwich this filled since I was last in NYC. I ordered a Classic sandwich on an Eggything bagel and it was loaded with lox, double-coated with cream cheese, and included generous servings of capers and onions. Yes, it's a pricier bagel, especially if you get a sandwich. But my vote is that it's worth a visit for quality ingredients, a well-baked bagel, and something close to resembling iconic NY lox bagel sandwiches. The staff's always been friendly and I appreciate the quick in-and-out service.

For whatever reason, I had a craving for a New York style bagel even though San Francisco is clearly San Francisco. I ordered the Classic-3 oz of nova lox, chive cream cheese, capers, onion and tomato all on a toasted Everything bagel. My gripes below:What bagel establishment closes at 1PM?Why would you run out of Everything bagels an hour before you close?I signed up for text notifications regarding my order, why did you wait until I showed up to notify me that you were out of Everything bagels?I told you my name and order, yet received Gabriel Edward's order which was the same as mine on an Everything bagel-lol should I have taken his instead?Maybe I'm spoiled by living in the better coast, but this was not a New York style bagel, $16 for my order felt like a highway robbery. The bagel did not look let alone taste like a bagel, there was a gross amount of chive cream cheese to make up for the lack of other ingredients. How or why people label this a New York style bagel establishment or the best bagel here in San Francisco-you've either never been to New York or are accustomed to mediocre bagels...

Came here after a run club and the bagels came out fast! About 5-10 min later. Good:- Fast service and lots of options! - Eggywich bagel with daily special cream cheese avocado was amazing, so tasty and fills you up! Bad- Expensive bagels, one was $16 and you can get a whole sandwich with that - No seating indoor, cute ambiance just can't indulge too long Overall this place was a good find for bagels in the area!

Boichik is everything you could want from a bagel shop - Delicious, fairly priced, and fast. Born and raised in the northeast, bagels were always a staple comfort food. After moving to San Francisco almost two years ago, I had given up on trying to find a good bagel. I thought wow, it's true, California really doesn't do bagels. So when I walked by Boichik I was immediately intrigued and had to check it out. Funny enough, I didn't realize until after trying their bagels that their slogan is "There are no(w) good bagels in California" - And it's true! They really do taste like authentic east coast bagels. I recommend their pumpernickel raisin swirl and chive cream cheese - yum!

Was craving a lox bagel and found this spot. Placed an online order and just popped in and my order was ready! The bagel definitely filled me up and was packed!! It was yummy and full of flavor. People hanging outside eating their bagels but it wasn't too crazy packed as I have seen in other photos. Would come back!

Still love this great location but kind of annoyed today that as a fairly regular customer (at least once a week) i ran in at 12:59pm a minute before closing time right on the dot. There was lots of construction on the street so I was cutting close but the door was open and somebody had just walked out as I walked in.Grabbed a bag of frozen bagels fro the freezer but the four workers were talking. Finally the tall kid turns around and looks at me and says "Sorry we're closed". I said, "Hey not asking you to make me anything. Just if you can toss a tub of cream cheese in a bag and ring me up," Kid gave this eye roll like I ruined his day. Just a good reminder from someone who has owned and operated consumer retail businesses that the customer deserves a smile even when they were wrong (which I was not in this case). I was out of there by 1:03 according to my receipt.
