One of my girlfriends and I stopped by this morning after our early morning gym session. We were immediately greeted by someone at the front register and they seated us right away. The place was fairly busy. We ordered from our phones by using the QR code placed in the middle of the table. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and my friend ordered the Soft Chili Scramble with Avocado. It was all delicious and perfect after a gym workout. I love the vibes at this cafe too. Everyone was friendly and the cafe had a very welcoming vibe. Oh, forgot to mention that I also ordered a turmeric latte and it was just perfect to top off my meal. I definitely want to bring my Mom here next time.

a very casual spot to grab coffee and a bite. if you dine in, there are QR codes on every table to order and pay. you can also order on their mobile app and pickup there. the food and coffee are pretty good but there are a ton of amazing cafes in SF I would choose first.

I've been here several times for brunch and while it's on the pricey side, I have appreciated having a number of gluten-free options. My friend and I had a stressful visit today because of a major delay in getting our coffees -- a 45-min delay. We were dining in and had a server who brought us our food and was aware we were waiting on drinks. Mind you, you order with a QR code and pay for everything ahead of time. My friend had to catch a train so I went inside at the 35-minute mark to ask the bar to make our drinks to go, thinking they just hadn't made them yet. The barista, upon my making the to-go request, just kept saying he had already made our drinks, as if I was somehow at fault despite my explaining we had a server. He initially didn't offer to remake pur drinks and I had to pull out my phone to show him my receipt. I get that you were slammed, but you don't have to be a complete dick about your mistake. Just make it right. We couldn't even get comped for the mistake given you pay and tip ahead of time.

MOLD! Let me give you the run down.Went around 12 on a Sunday and it was quite busy. The inside is sort of small but very cute. Only had to wait 8ish minutes to be seated. We ordered through a QR code which had the full menu with photos. My friend's hot latte came and it was in a glass (not a mug) so it was hard for her to even hold it to drink due to the heat. Our food finally came and the presentation was nice. It tasted good until my friend got the rice bowl and she found mold in the rice :( it was weird looking to begin with because it was clumpy and fuzzy compared to the rest. (See circled photo) We immediately got our servers attention who took it back to the kitchen. He came back and informed us it was mold and my friend would get a full refund and they can remake the meal with quinoa. Service was nice but the mold ruined our experience. Sadly will not be coming back.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots for brunch or lunch! Located on a busy corner in a very residential neighborhood, Bluestone Lane is the cutest cafe, with gorgeous decor and ample seating.I love coming here for their green goddess bowl, it's a delicious salad with fresh vegetables, avocado, and a dressing with a kick. The service is very simple, you sit at a table and order directly from the QR code on the table so there's very little waiting most of the time. For coffee and pastries, it's also easy to order directly at the counter.

I used to love coming here, but the quality of service has varied so much that I don't always have a positive experience here anymore, so I don't come here as often now or I just do takeout.Food: The food and drink offerings here are generally consistent and good - some of my go-to items are flat white, brekkie board, and athletes burrito. Both the dine-in and takeout (including ordering in -app) experiences are usually pretty seamless, though as expected there may be a longer wait time if they're busy.Service: As mentioned the service here hasn't been consistent. In a recent visit, I was excited to bring me mom here for brunch since she was visiting SF for the first time in years and has never tried Bluestone. We asked for a hardcopy menu for her because she was having a lot of difficulty reading the digital one via the QR code and the server kept saying no and that we had to order online. I understand that we have to order online (I was going to order for her on my phone), but that's not what the issue was and even after several tries he was not listening to what we were asking for and why. Finallyy another staff member listened to us and brought us a paper menu for her to read more easily. In another visit, I came with a friend for a drink deal which was not applied when we ordered on the QR code as she said it would, and so the deal wasn't honoured and we had to pay full price. What's the point of having the deals if they don't work? Ambiance: I usually try to avoid coming to Bluestone on weekends - on weekdays the ambiance is pretty chill and relaxed, and I've never had issues with getting a table to dine in.

This is such an easy place to go to and everyone is so nice. I enjoy the outside seating in the warmer months, and their inside dining is also very comfortable and clean. I come here for their breakfasts and have tried many of the items on their menu. They offer a slight twist on some of their menu items and it is a nice touch, ie lemon curd in their granola. Their smashed avocado toast with an egg on top is a perfect meal. I will definitely return and try more on their menu.

A very nice casual brunch spot. You order through a QR code, which makes it easy if people are paying separately, and the food comes quickly. It is fairly healthy and tasty brunch food at a reasonable price. Food seems fresh! I ordered a simple avocado toast and yogurt with granola and fruit for ~ $20. I also ordered a golden latte (had never had one before, but I liked it!). Perfect weekend spot, especially if you want to stay and chat for a while.

I've been wanting to try Bluestone for a while because it looked like a cute cafe and finally got to! We sat outside under an umbrella and scanned the QR code to order. We got the Berry Brekkie Smoothie and the cold brew float to drink. The cold brew float was just ok, the coffee flavor was pretty mild and I prefer a stronger coffee flavor but the Berry Brekkie Smoothie was so good! I define you recommend getting that. For food we got the collective granola and the soft chili scramble with avocado. The granola was very bland and I think it could have tasted a lot better if they put some honey or agave but it did taste extremely healthy. The scramble was better and I think the sauce did give it more flavor but still fell flat for me. Each dish tasted like they were lacking in flavor and missing seasoning or aromatics that could enhance the dish while still staying true to its health driven goal. Overall, the food definitely tastes healthy but not really very satisfying and unfortunately not my cup of tea.

Sadly, not so good. One of the employees was incredibly rude. I'm not sure if he hates his job or just the customers. I walked up to the counter to ask about one of the muffins inside the glass case. He looked at me in angrily chirped, you order from the table. I said, okay but what is this? He said you order it from the table and pointed toward the tables. An obvious flaw in the table service cafe setup is when they have fresh baked goods that are only named on the menu but visible in a display case. Most competent restauranteurs would understand that seeing the pastry actually helps sell the pastry. In the end of the pastry tasted good, the coffee wasn't so good, one of the staff were nice, but the first person I encountered was the opposite of what you want representing your business. There are way too many coffee shop choices in San Francisco to waste your time at this one.
