Bini's Kitchen is one of the staple food trucks at the Saturday Ferry Building Farmers' Market, serving primarily Nepalese momos. It's pretty popular, so I was excited to finally give them a try! I got the Lamb Momos, as it was the only option they had left at the end of the market. It was $14 for 8 sizable momos, they don't skimp on the filling, and I got lucky that day because I got 10! That was a welcome surprise, like finding forgotten cash in your pocket.Overall, the momos were delicious! There was a generous amount of meat in each one, and the sauce added a nice layer of additional salt and flavor. My only qualm is that the wrapper would tear apart when I picked up a momo, so I'd eat them by popping the meat filling and quickly following with the wrapper. Not a huge deal, especially because they package things well and provide utensils, but it did make things slightly harder to eat and slightly less enjoyable. I wonder if momos from earlier in the day would have this same problem; I would be willing to test that out because, again, they were still great! To top it off, I felt the service was fast and the people were nice. I would recommend Bini's Kitchen as a fun and unique farmers' market eat!

Rolled into SF and found the Ferry Bldg Farmers Market popping with vendors and long lines usually lead you to the right spot, so I jumped into Bini's line for a taste of this Tibetan specialty. Momo's are big, meaty dumplings! They're made of a slightly thicker skin that's wrapped around a dense filling of richly spiced lamb. I ordered a mixed box of lamb and chicken momo, which came topped with their tomato curry sauce. These are big dumplings, slightly larger than a golf ball. the skins were thick but delicate and not doughy, and the meat was quite tender and juicy. I could not tell a significant difference between the lamb and chicken, as both had a similar flavor profile and only a slight textural difference. For $12 I got 8 momo and this was a big portion. I ate about 2-3 of them and was full. It wasn't a meal in my mind, but sharing is a great way to try them out and make them part of one. I saw they offered combos with other delicious sounding dishes, so if a meal is what you're after, I think that's the play here.Highly recommend if you find them!

One of the better deals with the combo being enough food for one hangry or two hungries w/room for dessert from other vendors to enjoy at the Saturday farmers market. Helpful service, food is delish, fresh, steaming hot and filling; date-night breath friendly (not overly seasoned or spicy). Tables to sit nearby. Their two store locations are walking distance to try them at other times

The chicken dumplings are gingery and flavorful. The curry sauce on top is a little spicy, but not a lot. I could eat these as aaallllll day every single day. I don't live in the city or even nearby. Next visit to SF on a Saturday I will be bee-lining here!

Found them in the farmer's market by the ferry building and we wanted some dumplings in the morning. Hot dumplings were perfect for a normal windy morning in SF. They have 2 options for momos: lamb and turkey but we got turkey. Their momos are bigger than most of momos I've ever had before. The sauce was good and they didn't give you enough sauce (per my opinion). Worth to try if you ever want some Nepalese dumplings/momos

This hit the SPOT. Was hungry and this plate (with lamb, rice, and dumplings) had flavor AND substance. I really enjoyed the food - and it came piping hot. Would recommend if you're at the Farmers Market. The plate came out to be around $16.

If you're looking for a delicious and comforting meal on a chilly, overcast day in SF, Bini Kitchen's momos and Nepali vegetarian chili hit the spot. I found myself in this exact situation on a Saturday afternoon at the Ferry Building farmers' market, so I ordered the veggie momo and chili plate. The momos were succulent, flavorful, and downright delicious. The vegetarian chili was also amazing - it contains a variety of beans bathed in a richly spiced-sauce (similar to daal but with more texture from the beans and different spices). The veggie plate was very filling, and I have already decided that I will be back to order this again soon.

Delicious momos with a little bit of spice. We all miss the classic street food from 15+ months ago, and now we get a chance to get a taste of it. I highly recommend the lamb mom's. Super juicy. The mixed spices aren't overwhelming. The staff are friendly and they are quick. The only issue is parking is difficult. I would suggest to arrive by bus/BART. Lines aren't really an issue except during that one "lunch hour"...but I usually don't show up during that time. They tend to sell out of certain items, so be there early for certain popular things (i.e. lamb momos)

I wish there was an option to give 100 stars. I was here yesterday to enjoy the weather, scenery, and people-watching at The Ferry Building when I stumbled upon this place. The weather was hot. I was sweaty and I felt uncomfortable but melting away as I was enjoying my lunch was definitely worth it. Lines were long but it moved pretty fast. Accepts cards which is awesome. I still can't understand "cash only" policies at some other places. I wanted to order everything but decided to go w/ their combo plate ($13.99) to have a taste of their rice, chicken, and dumplings (momo's). A very heavy meal but nothing existed in my mind when I was eating this other than if I should order a plate of this to-go. The dumplings were juicy, flavorful. The rice was fluffy and super fragrant. The chicken was tender. I simply loved this plate so much that I wouldn't mind marrying it. I'm going back up there in 2 weeks for this. If you are at The Ferry Building on Saturday, check this place out!!! I am hoping I will be strong enough to eat half and bring the other half home for the following day.

Love the momos. Love watching this small business grow over the years, from a market st popup to ferry building farmers market to brick and mortar.
