A place perfectly suited for all those late-night (in San Francisco terms, that means by midnight) cravings. I've often stopped here to pick up some sodas, ginger beers, or a variety of candy. It's all pretty standard. The staff is always polite & respectful, and they accept cards ($5 minimum). However, I did witness a rat jump out from the lower shelves once... Which sounds like a perfect fit for a Bodega Cat! Lastly, as other reviewers mentioned, prices are *tad* higher for no justifiable reason. If you wanna save some $$$ walk down to Balboa Liquor & Deli: https://yelp.to/qTKq/hcayeleoAT

Come here to buy cigs cuz they're cheaper than other places and convenient. When it's night time, it's the closest place to my house and a quick in and out. What more can i ask for?!

My local corner store but owners always busy watching his shows on laptop. A lot of food and drinks are expired... plus there is a FAT rat that lives in the store that will come out near the soda refrigerator.

The 1st review, while on the spot with most, is a bit misleading. The Better Food Marker, if you're local, offers pretty much anything you'd need in a pinch. No, it's just not a liquor store. It's pretty much a local version of a 7/11. Whether you need baby wipes or charcoal, they've got it. Want various fruits like bananas, oranges or limes for your Coronas - they've usually got it. Coffee and breakfast item? Sure, no problem. Oh damn, need milk to go with your porn magazines - you're all set!Any toiletries or OTC medical items you need - they've got them. Pretty much any household item you can think of ranging from rat traps to garbage bags - you're good to go.Hey, if it's local to you, this is the one-stop shop worth your time. If you're not within reasonable walking distance, then it's just another food and alcohol market that sits on every other corner. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars: they close at 10pm (booooo)

Seemed decent. Went in to get a drink. $5 minimum on debit transactions. Instant dislike. The worker at the time was also very rude and unfriendly about it. Giving 2 stars as a courtesy because I didn't look around at prices or what they really had. If you don't have cash on you, I'd avoid it.

Another good grocery spot in my hood. They have really good beer selection, pretty crap wine selection, and a shit-ton of liquor. And lots of stuff in boxes and cans, but really no produce or anything like that. Don't let the name fool you, it's a liquor store but their prices and selection are a better than typical. One of the guys got beat up by the kids from Bal. He's got me and my brah's numbers. We're the neighborhood response team, aka the Revolution, aka the Lost Boys.

This place has the best selection of Ritter Sport bars I have ever seen, along with a great selection of other European candy bars. Good wine selection too.

Was told I could pick up my two UPS packages here, went in and was told by the owner/employee that he had refused all the packages because there were 'too many.' 4 days before Christmas. Both packages were Christmas presents which I'll now have to make a 40 minute drive to the UPS center on the opposite side of town to pick up before I fly home. Never shopped here before, will never go in again. Don't offer your services to UPS if you aren't going to actually do what you offered. Terrible person to do that the week before Christmas.
