WOW this is my new favorite Italian restaurant ever, I came here twice in one week!! Everything we ordered was sooo delicious, the Margherita Burrata pizza is a must-try! I would come back just for that pizza because the red sauce and burrata really stood out and the crust is just perfect - not soggy or oily at all, crisp yet chewy and holds up really well. Make sure to ask for the chili oil and chili flakes to elevate it even more! The pastas are also just as tasty! I've gotten the Pappardelle and Lasagna Bolognese, they're so rich and flavorful I couldn't get enough. The tricolore salad was refreshing, not sure I would get it again but I'd want to try their other salads and appetizers! Highly recommend coming here because not only is the food amazing, but it's also not too busy and with plenty of seating (there's a communal table too). The ambiance and service was great, super friendly staff and I love the candlelit tables. Definitely coming back here whenever I'm craving italian in SF.

Unfortunately I did not take any photos Came here for a late night bite, party of 3. We sat at the bar and ordered a few things. The bar was full, nice soft lighting and a small buzz from the people enjoying thier night. The food was tasty. We tried the walnut bread (buratta), the calamari, parpadelle, and the Funghi Pizza. The pasta and sauce were delicious and the Funghi Pizza had a lot of mushrooms and great flavor. The bartender/server was friendly and the food came out fast. We had a few shots, wine and an espresso. I definitely want to come back here and try more food.

Came here purely by chance as my friend and I were passing by and decided to grab brunch! The place was pretty empty around noon so we got to sit wherever we wanted. Seated at the high top tables, I loved how there were hooks in the wall to hang jackets and purses. The waitstaff were very kind and attentive.I got the Pasta Chilaquiles, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The meat was so tender and flavor-packed without being too oily, and the egg yolks were still runny, which I liked. The chips were so crispy throughout the meal (not getting too soggy), and it was a decently sized portion. Unexpected new find for a great brunch spot!

I've had Italian food plenty of times and I've never had digestive issues from eating it. After this meal it gave me really bad acid reflux which I do not even struggle with at all when I eat out. The service here was minimal and not attentive. Asked if the food was good even before I could take a bite, and my friend barely just took a first bite. Never checked up after that or see if we needed more water. We were handed the wrong check, well over double our actual bill, then handed the wrong bill the second time with only one of the two items we ordered. The food was average to me in flavor. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. It gets very noisy in there so you have to speak louder than normal. They have the two person tables way too close to each other.

I had heard/seen amazing reviews for Beretta for years and kept meaning to check it out. I don't think it was as amazing as the expectations, but still solid for a nice dinner. I came here for my birthday dinner and it was good, just not great. For drinks ordered a cocktail, ciao bella, and hibiscus lemonade which were all good. We ordered the herb bread for appetizer, and the ravioli and Burrata pizza for mains. The pasta came out first before the bread which was odd but I can't complain too much because the service overall was very quick and efficient even with it being decently crowded. The bread was good but unevenly flavored - out first pieces had nice dimensions of flavor but the second was bland. The pasta was yummy, but nothing crazy special; the pizza was similar and I also felt it was very thin. They did give a complementary tiramisu for my birthday which was nice! I don't think I'll come back but I definitely had a solid time.

They never miss. Always on point and the vibes too. Been coming here for years. You won't be disappointed in practically anything you order. Tonight, it was mom and son date night. We ordered: dirty martini, fried calamari, spicy Italian sausage pizza, walnut bread, lasagna and the panna gelato with olive oil and sea salt (SO DELISH). Service was great, she checked on us pretty frequently. Beretta will always be on my top 10.

I came here with a couple friends for SF restaurant week! I loved the ambiance, though it's quite dim. We had a cute little corner seat, and I loved the lights and general vibe of the restaurant. The service was good as well, and the separate courses were brought out in a timely manner. We had a 6:15 reservation, and the hostess let us know when we walked in that she would need the table back by 8pm.The food was very good! I had the crab arancini, tricolore salad, lasagna bolognese, and straciatella gelato! The portions were large, and we all needed takeout boxes to take our food back home. Even as leftovers, the lasagna tasted great!Food summary:Crab arancini 10/10Amazing, and would definitely order this again. The creaminess of the risotto paired well with the crab to make for a delicious stuffing!Tricolore salad 5/10This was not up my alley and a bit too bitter for me, but my friends really enjoyed it! Lasagna Bolognese 9/10Creamy and cheesy! I loved this dish, and glad I chose it out of the options- though I would like to try the other mains some other time. Straciatella gelato 10/10Straciatella is my favorite gelato flavor! This dessert as truly amazing- the candied almonds are a nice touch and the chocolate over the gelato was magnificent!Overall, great restaurant and I would come back to dine again!

Such a yummy and quaint place. The hubby and I came here for lunch at an off time during the weekend and luckily did not have to wait. The restaurant is located at the corner of a pretty busy area and seems unassuming from the outside. But once inside, the vibe was cute & charming, with a full bar and table top seating at the center of it all. Although, the best seat in my opinion are the window seats...it was a cute nook like area with great lighting and the best views for ppl watching. Service was great, as our waiter made some cocktails & food suggestions, which we ended up going with altogether. Let's dig in:(1) Meatballs - this was good; the meatballs were tender and flavorful, while the spicy tomatoes sauce had the right amount of tart and kick to it.(2) Beet salad - this was sooo good, the thinly sliced roasted beets had a delish sweetness to them + arugula and light dressing which was just simply refreshing and tasty. (3) Margherita Burrata Pizza - alsooo sooo good!! The pizza had the right amount of charr and crunch to it, while the fresh Burrata added a creaminess to balance the fresh tomato sauce. Cocktails were really the part that unfortunately was a bit underwhelming overall - my hubby's old fashion was OK, a bit too sweet for his overall taste but still fair. I had a pandan cocktail (I think the calypso muse) which looked beautiful but was oddly lacking flavor. I love pandan and was sad that the flavor was so light, in addition - the whole drink was just slightly bland (almost tasted watered down overall). We would def come back since legit, the food was really tasty...and maybe it was an off day for cocktails so we'd for sure opt to try a different one next time!

Pizza, Drinks, and Good VibesI had a great experience at Beretta in San Francisco's Mission District. It's been a favorite spot since it opened in 2008, known for its pizzas, interesting drinks, and friendly vibe. It feels cozy and the drinks are really good. It's more than just a place to eat and drink, it's a place where people come together and hang out.I visited Beretta for the first time for dinner with colleagues after our company retreat. We went on a late Tuesday afternoon, and despite the indoor dining area not being busy, we decided to sit outside. I started with a glass of white wine and a beet salad, which was delicious and made me realize I was still hungry. I ordered their Summer Risotto, while my colleagues went for pizza. The pies looked very good, and everyone was happy with their choices. My risotto was tasty and the portion was just right. I passed on dessert, but a couple of my colleagues who shared a Tiramisu and couldn't stop praising its taste and quality. The service was excellent. Our orders arrived on time and as ordered. We never felt like our table was being ignored.Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I definitely plan to visit the Valencia location again.

This place is my go-to Italian spot in the mission. It's dim-lit and flirty with a sleek, minimal interior design that really sets a swanky vibe. The food is great. I highly recommend the walnut bread- the burrata is fresh and delicious mixed with the truffle honey it's *chef's kiss*.I always go for the cacio e pepe, it's simple and so satisfying. Plus their cocktails and service is lovely too. Great date spot.
