Belly Good Cafe & Crepes

I love crepesHeres my notes when I had it: Ice cream delicious, crepe is floppy, cute bear, marshmallow chewy, pretzel salty, crepe isnt good without ice cream. Ice cream is the star of the show, but I will say, they both work together. Theres a synergy. Ice cream is good on its own sure but with the crepe, it gets better. Crepe flat out isnt good on its own, it needs flavor. Problem is, once you get to the bottom, it does get more crepe and less ice cream. So deal with that. Also top is more ice cream than crepe so kinda unbalanced. Delicious and cute5/5 love crepes

This dessert location has been around for a long time and I have always been a fan of it growing up. They have several crepe options and all of them come with a face :)They also have some specialty seasonal crepes such as the halloween one (picture attached)My crepe #22 came out to be $11 (without tip) this one had strawberry jam which i actually didn't like because it taste too tart when put with the other ingredients, but other than that, this was delicious. They also serve boba at this location as well. It is located right by the fountains in Japan town's west mall (larger side).Note: this location gets really hot indoors and long lines/waits can be expected

This place is popular and has been so since at least when I was in college like a decade ago. So I'd hardly call this place a hidden game since it's easily seen when you get inside the Japantown mall. I guess you can call it a hidden gem to the extent that Japantown is a pain in the ass to actually get to. Like, you can't get here from downtown via walking unless you're a freak.Anyway, I've always liked the crepes here. I guess they're mostly priced reasonably and they make for fun social media content. But unlike most social media food I've seen, this stuff actually tastes good and never sweet to the extent that I'll hate myself afterwards. Eating the crepes (especially if it has ice cream) can be a bit of a pain in the ass. I've never cared to notice before if this place sells their desserts in a cone or a cup but if they don't, they should.

The crepes we're delicious. We had a great time. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Highly recommend going to Belly crepe! Japan town is always FUN!

Not a big fan of crepes or gimmicks but this place is too cute not to try! You can customize your own crepe or choose from their many premade options. Crepes came out fairly quickly and service was just as fast too. My main complaint would be that everything tasted a bit too heavy? Too much sugar or too much heavy cream? Im not sure what it was but my tummy wasn't a big fan of it.

I always have to get a crepe from here every time I come to Japantown.what we ordered:1. oreo specialThis crepe comes with espresso ice cream, vanilla ice cream, oreo, peanut butter, and banana. The clown is so cute! Crepe was so warm and chewy, good balance with the scoops of ice cream. Peanut butter + ice cream = great combo, made ice cream more creamy. Overall, good portion for the price.2. vanilla ice cream with chocolate, banana, and strawberryThis crepe came with a jelly candy and was not too sweet!

This review is for the banana, strawberry, and chocolate whipped cream crêpe without ice cream on top. It's located inside the Japantown Mall and tends to draw a crowd, with people waiting 10 to 15 minutes for their order. I found it enjoyable, but the crêpe didn't stand out as anything special. However, the service was very friendly and kind, earning high marks from me. My nieces and nephews said they enjoyed the crêpe, but it wasn't mind-blowing. We need to try some other flavors. The spot is underground in the mall, and while you have to pay for affordable parking, there's plenty of space. It can get crowded on weekends, but it's a fun area to visit if you want Japanese food, cultural shopping, and unique desserts.

I ordered a Nutella & Banana Crepe, and the order came out a few minutes later. I love how cute they decorate their crepes with cute characters, whether it's on ice cream or whipped cream. There's so many options on their menu, and you also can create your own as well. Their crepes are pretty affordable compared to other places, and I appreciate their quick and efficient service. It'll be my go-to dessert spot whenever I visit Japantown

Fun, sweet dessert crepes [Japantown, San Francisco CA]Belly Good Crepes is located in the West Mall at Japan Center in San Francisco (next to Takoyaki Yamachan). This is one of two crepe cafes I've tried in Japantown. The crepe can be customized and have a variety of options like fruits, Nutella, chocolate, custard, peanut butter, cream cheese, flan, etc, with choice of all different kind of sauces. I ordered my favorite classic which is the Strawberry, Banana & Nutella crepe w/ vanilla ice cream. To my surprise it came with a cute smiley face design on the ice cream. I found out that if you order ice cream with your crepe they do this smiley face on your order LoL!Hold on to the ticket stub they provide after paying. You will need this to claim your crepe when they call out your name. The crepe was a generous portion and enough for daughter and I to share without the sweetness overload. Look how adorable these crepes are! Wow I was amazed how cute they decorated the crepes! I got a simple banana and strawberry crepe and my friend got the banana strawberry with ice cream crepe. The crepe was soft and chewy with the perfect amount of chocolate drizzle and whipped cream inside. The friendly staff was able to help me choose what crepe I should get since there were plenty of options. If you're craving crepes, I would definitely come and check out this place!
