I've been to Beaux many many times after this initial review and my experiences with the staff and the bar have been great. I come reguarly for Drag Race viewing parties and drag shows. So, I wanted to revise my initial review here.

If you want a touch of WeHo in your clubbing, this is probably the place to do it. I can't think of another bar in the Castro that has undulating go-go boys and a cabaret-singing drag queen. Now I'm not the type that writhes on the dance floor after dark. My love handles get in the way. I don't think I have the mojo to writhe anyway. I'm more of the late afternoon/early evening kind of tippler.During that hour, there was a much easier vibe with a bit older crowd (...that would include me). Dee, the singing drag queen, was here performing eighties favorites on the keyboard with genuine panache. What helped immeasurably was the presence of my favorite bartender in the Castro, Jonathan, whom I met first at the far more mellow Last Call Bar.Frankly all the bartenders at Beaux are friendly and usually quite busy, but Jonathan is a standout, an expert mixologist who always makes everyone feel welcome without going overboard. Wanted to find a fun bar and was disappointed on how empty the place was, especially for a Saturday night. Probably because the music was not that great. Maybe it would have been better on a different night. It has a decent dance floor and plenty of seats.

Amazing experience, drinks and food! Came for brunch but will be back for happy hour!

Went to Beaux for Sunday Drag Brunch. They don't do bottomless but it doesn't seem like many places do in San Francisco. So we ordered a few bottles between the four people at our table. We ordered food which is from Taco Boys next door or near by? Unsure. My tacos were good but our food took awhile...and they forgot our friend's food which took longer. The drag show though! We had a great time, loved the host Ruby Red. She was hysterical. All the ladies looked amazing and were giving it all to their performances. We had a great time.

We found Beaux randomly after our weekend plans to Tahoe were canceled due to the storm. We decided to have a Sunday Funday. Initially, we wanted to go to 620 Jones, but they were fully booked. We were happy to have been able to get a table at Beaux instead. The food turned out to be from the taqueria, which was a surprise because I was expecting a drag brunch. Nevertheless, it was decent. The show was fantastic, and we all had a great time! The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly. I would definitely come back with more friends.

Specifically speaking for the drag brunch. Girlllllll it's a chop. There are two girls I did like but it was giving hamburger Mary's on a half step up. Not everyone needs to be a dancing queen but it deff Kat walker and hara was the two at least giving something more than a kitten heel.........anyway the food cool. Prob will check out look out or high top next time tho just saying

I adore this bar and the people that run it! Always has the best drag shows and a really great vibe. Brunches, drag race viewing, and sexy gogos every night! Really the epitome of a fab gay bar/club!

If I can leave zero I would, I came in here with such a high expectation. Just to find the ONE bartender on duty (Qaday) singing his happy butt off for Kareoke. I tell the barback I'll make it easy just give me a white claw and have him charge me one he's done , but no he says he can't, why is the bartender singing when he has over 25 people in the bar?So what does the "bartender" do after he's done?He helps his 2 friends that got here after my group of 2 and he has a conversation with them as well. VERY POOR SERVICE IF YOU AS ME.

Terrible service I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!! I am a gay man myself and just wanted to attend the drag show on 2/28/2025 the police arrived for an altercation with the bouncer they have at the door on Friday nights. He allowed my boyfriend entrance and denied me service for not grabbing my ID quick enough and for not answering his harassing questions (mind you he didn't ask my boyfriend the same demeaning questions) after he validated my ID. THE MANAGER IS TERRIBLE, THERE IS NOO ACCOUNTABILITY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Any other bar or club in the surrounding area will do but this place is EXTREMELY out of line and do not vent the men who work at these gay bars. The MAN THIS PLACE HIRED at this bar is not gay himself and with the attitude he has he does not respect gay men and will take any opportunity he has to assert his Authority and prejudice beliefs over someone else he only puts up with gay people for the money he gets from working there. I INSIST THE COMMUNITY DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE I've been going to the Castro for a long time and I've NEVER EXPERIENCED this before. no respect doesn't even listen to his supervisor when told to not talk to us!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! The management really needs to check him.
