First time at Barcha, no reservation, we went to celebrate a birthday. Food was fantastic, and absolutely delicious. Big fan, definitely coming back. Bartender Essence, makes the best cocktails and is an amazing talent to have at this establishment . Thank you Batcha!

Mediterranean food: our family came here first dinner on a rainy Wednesday evening and it was one of the best experiences I have had recently. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were seated immediately . Very beautiful decor and a Persian feel that was so welcome . We ordered drinks Marsala drink which was delicious Mint Tea For dinner:Shishito Peppers Grilled dates Chicken kebab with biriyani rice Fattoush saladBaklava dessert with ice cream Amazing ambiance and superb customer service and care ! Hubby recommended it and I loved it . Look forward to coming back really soon !!

Nice atmosphere and food, but too pricey for what it was.That said, my favorite dish was the tahdig. I'm not usually a fan of duck, but it was tender, well seasoned, and went nicely with the crispy saffron. The chicken and lamb were solid, with subtle flavors that complemented the tahini yogurt. The brussel sprouts were good too, but tasted a bit vinegar-y. Dates were (understandably) on the sweeter side, but I liked their duck bacon wrap. Just wish they included a bit more cheese for balance.Service was fine, they quickly took our order and checked in often. Missed the mark on small things though. We were mistakenly served another table's food at one point. The staff kept on gripping the back of my chair as they walked by.Overall, a good meal, but I don't think the quality (food or service) justifies its price. Not the kind of place where I'm excited to spend $27 on water (which we did, by the way).

Solid option for a dinner in Fidi! We got the 3 dips, short rib skewer, brussels sprouts, beef dumplings and tahdig with duck.- Favorites were the tahdig & dumplings- Least favorite were the brussels, which were doused in sauce- Enjoyed the low alcohol spritz and appreciate that they had no / low alcohol options- Lots of seating. Outdoor tables had heat lamps which were very warm

Love coming here for lunch during the work week! It usually gets pretty busy with the in-office crowd. The fattoush salad is my favorite, very fresh! They also offer happy hour menu for after work.

Came here with friends after work and boy was I impressed! The ambiance is chic, service quick and friendly .. but the food sealed the deal for me. A surprisingly simple but bomb appetizer was the stuffed dates! Will try to recreate next time I host ;) Ordered the Persian Rice with duck.. the runny egg beautifully compliments the flavors . Falafels were crispy as advertised and came in large portion that surprised me. Wrapped things up with the crispy cigars.PS- Happy sighs around the table

Great vibe & service for HH - but overall food can be a hit or miss. Came here a few times with a friend after work and enjoyed sitting outside when the SF weather actually calls for it. Their outdoor sitting has a cute Boho & Global vibe, which is def. my preference. Inside is a bit more dim and intimate - & can also get bit more loud. Menu is generally focused on Mediterranean dishes and the nice thing here is that they actually have a legit HH menu with a pretty large variety of food options at great prices.Let's dig in:(1) Croquettes - these were good, pretty much chicken/ham meatballs in a tomato sauce topped with parmesan. Meatballs were juicy and flavorful.(2) Octopus (not HH item) - this was OK for me, I love a good char on octopus and this was far from charred. Def. understand if it's cooked a bit differently (poached) - but it wasn't as tender as I thought and there was a bit too much going on that took away from the octopus. (3) Dumplings - this was strange and prob just not for me. The dumplings reminded me of an Asian wonton - but the flavors were very strong and simply just conflicted with what my memory would allow me to enjoy (LOL). (4) Hummus/Pita - this was fair, the hummus was a bit more grainy but had lots of flavor to it overall. Pita was soft and beautifully toasted/warm.(5) Shrimp Skewer - this was good, yes it is only one skewer but it was a nice app to share. Shrimps had nice flavor and was cooked perfectly. Cocktails - can't remember the names of the drinks we had, but both were super tasty. Love a good egg white on drinks which adds the right amount of froth & creaminess to soothe the booze.

I love a good salad. And I loooooved the arugula salad here, with goat cheese ranch dressing. Added some salmon for protein and it was quite the perfect lunch. I plan to come back with friends so I can try the fattoush salad next, and the shawarmas looked equally delicious. The hummus with cauliflower was yummy with the pita bread, a great appetizer. We sat outside, and though it was chilly the heaters and blankets kept things cozy. A bit overpriced but what isn't nowadays, esp given the location.

Went here for a work lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Since it was lunch rush, it was very busy and still cold due to it being winter out here in the Bay. The servers were really attentive and nice and had seated us outdoors with very strong heaters in which we kindly asked to turn off at one point. The food and service were quite quick. I had ordered a kale and caeser salad with a side of shawarma chicken. It was good and fresh. I would love to come back and try their small plates soon!
