All the neon lights. When you walk into the restaurant, there is this huge neon sign which in my mind makes this place a great late night place to eat and hang out with your friends. The decore is fun and lively! My husband and I came here for "date night" and granted, we eat dinner fairly early, but the few times that we have walked by this restaurant on other late evenings, it is packed and very lively! I sometimes forget to check into Yelp, but this time around I did and to my surprise, there was an offer for a free drink (choice of thai ice tea/coffee or Nom Yen-Thai Pink Milk). I got the Nom Yen which was fresh, cooling, and a vibrant pink! It looked like a fun drink! As for food, we ordered the Khao Soi Crispy Chicken and the Lime & Garlic Spicy Salmon (3 chiles, code for medium). Talk about flavor! The tartiness, the sweetness, the curry! Both dishes were delicious and the chicken in the khao soi was covered in the curry but remained crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The lime and garlic combo with the chilis was to die for. I think at some point I told my husband that I wanted to just drink the lime and garlic sauce the salmon was drenched in. It definately hit the tartiness/savory craving I was having. Both of us were stuffed as the portion sizes are fairly large and very tasty. We will have to come back and try their other dishes. All the items looked so good!

Our food was the worst thai I have ever experienced. We ordered the street bbq beef.It was tough and barely warm. The rice was dry and came like a hard rice pancake wrapped in tin foil. No moisture at all. Very dry and hard. You had to break it apart like a dry cookie then chew and chew. The worst rice ever served. It was embarrassing .

Came in for lunch on a very quiet Friday afternoon. Despite the colorful and "loud" decorations, the music was turned down so low, we almost felt like whispering! The waitress recommended the drunken noodles and Wagyu fried rice. I enjoyed the drunken noodles, not eye-watering spicy, but they were pretty expensive for takeout quality. The Wagyu felt overcooked as it was pretty tough and chewy. The Thai tea was delicious but the pink drink tasted sort of like... cough medicine? If I lived close by, this would probably be my go to for Thai takeout.

Made a reservation via Yelp for a group lunch here for 7 people on a Tuesday. It was not too busy and we were able to take our time without feeling rushed. There was only one person working out front taking orders and serving food, which made service a little slow, but we didn't mind so much as we as a group were catching up with each other. Food was good, we got veggie spring rolls (4/5) and chicken satay (4.5/5) to start. I ordered the Pad Thai River Prawn (4/5) as my entree, which came with 2 large prawns- this wasn't enough protein for my liking, and I wished I had got the regular Pad Thai with a different protein choice. For dessert they unfortunately ran out of mango ice cream for our group and only one out of 4 that ordered it got it. But I got the mango sticky rice (5/5) which was delicious. I also really liked my Thai lemon drink (5/5), which was basically an Arnold Palmer with Thai tea & lemonade. If you can't find street parking, the Japan Center garage is a 4 minute walk from here.

Cute spot for Thai food - while what we got was pretty good, I was a bit disappointed in the food but the interior is cute with lots of neon lights and decor for Christmas! My friend and I shared the Street Combo BBQ which is meant for 2 and comes with BBQ chicken, chicken salad, papaya salad, and sticky rice. I loved the chicken and papaya salad combo which was light and refreshing but the BBQ chicken was pretty dry and lacked flavor even with the thai dipping sauce and the sticky rice was pretty hard even though it came wrapped in foil. The vibe is cute and location is good next to the Japantown Center but I'd probably order something different if I'm back again.

Cute Thai place near japantown. Came on a weekday for three and had no wait at 7pm. The decor is super cute with colorful street food vibes. We ordered the veggie rolls, green curry and the pad Thai for 3 girls and even had leftovers! Would recommend the veggie rolls and green curry, was very aromatic. The pad Thai was only ok, the noodles were semi soggy and sticking together.Would come again for a casual weeknight dinner or takeout!

I ate here in a party of 7 around 1pm on a Sunday and we were able to get seating easily! I ordered the pad thai with tofu and my husband ordered thai basil chicken with rice on the side. I think my pad thai was pretty decent! The portion was large and it was really flavorful (you can request them to make it spicy!). The tofu was a little dry, so I'll probably go with shrimp next time! The thai basil chicken was unfortunately less flavorful - there was just not enough thai basil. In terms of service, the staff was pretty nice! I actually arrived here earlier than the rest of my party and they were fine with me picking a table for us while I waited.

The food was mid. Maybe it's considered good for the area though. I've definitely had better pad Thai though. The mango sticky rice was delicious but that's hard to go wrong. The vibe was very fun inside though. The bathroom is behind and through the kitchen.

This place is much better than the Thai restaurant that used to be in the same location. Food was pretty tasty, we split the street combo spicy chicken. The chicken wings were pretty good and the spicy chicken dish was also good. The soup was just okay. It wasn't bad or great but it was interesting. Overall solid experience, but nothing particularly stood out.

We have always strolled by this cute and cozy restaurant when we're in Japantown. We have dined here a couple of times and finally coming back to satisfy our thai food cravings. The staff here are so kind, attentive, making the dining experience so welcoming. What we ordered:- Pad Kee Mao w/ chicken - Thai Street BBQ platter (get this, so worth the money and you can try different dishes such as sticky rice, thai salad, larb, and chicken) - Duck Curry (this was so so good because they give you deboned duck meat. I appreciate this so much because I don't like biting into bones)- Mango Sticky Rice (lightly sweet which makes it so good) - Tom Yum & Tom Kha beer (must try even if you don't like beer as it is very light in taste)I can't wait to come back to try more dishes and the hospitality is top notch!
