Balboa Bi-Rite Market

I remember back in high school I used to walk down balboa to get to wash and I really never noticed that there was market here. The new owners definitely made it stand out and look amazing. It so bright and lively that you can't miss it and it just draws you in. They have everything you need from house hold item to beer, snacks and everything you need for a bonfire. Best thing to get from here is the spam musubi and the spam n' egg musubi. They also have coffee, hot dogs, hot links, polish dogs and nachos. The owner is great, if you are looking for something and they don't have it they will do everything to find it for you and keep it in store just for you.

We were coming here fairly regularly for last minute stuff when we didn't want to trek to a real store; but we've decided to stop coming here. During our last visit, the clerk was blasting the Joe Rogan experience show on the television and speaker system. Gross. No thanks.

This liquor store has been remodeled and under new ownership. The new owners are very friendly. They have everything from eggs, milk, beverages, liquor, candy and snacks. Talk about your one stop shop! Stop by and check them out.

Balboa Bi-Rite has a green zone in front. otherwise there's no street parking available. offerings: lotto, cigs, convenience food, liquors(wines, beers hard liquor), groceries, beers, wines seem slightly pricey.buys: tsingtao paper(.60)-red stripe beer (24 oz) 2.5 "out the door"notes:-large clean store, -wines, beers slightly pricey-quick, efficient service.-not sure what Bi-rite means in this locale.

It has my favorite juice and good selection of chocolate. Everything I would ever need!

okay, so i'm one of those people who like the commercialized frozen/chilled piroshkis that you find in a mom & pop deli/liquor store type deal. i go in and ask for 2 of them at the front counter and said that i'll heat them up at home. i was hyped up to eat them for dinner and lo and behold they were ROCK HARD when i pulled them out of the bag (and they weren't frozen either).all the microwaving in the world didn't help these doughy rock hard piroshkis. how long have they been on display anyway?! yuck, me thinks NOT! i should've known better...better stick to the russian markets on geary blvd.

The owners are amazing we stopped here before going to outsideland and they were incredibly sweet and helpful! 10 stars for service and vibes !

Down to earth clerks! Very helpful and welcoming. It was easy to talk to them. The store looks really clean and updated from before. They have a lot of things you can buy. They even have different varieties of chips and beer you can't get from regular grocery stores! Will be back!

amazing staff and great options for drinks/snacks! super happy there's a place nearby that offers asian grocery items as well :-)
