This Market is within the Cal Mart Market. When yougo ask for Andy or any of the guys can help. They can order any special meat, fish or poultry you will need. They are busy so please be patient. Everything is in I've and arranged so you see their proteins through the glass. Makes for great ambiance. Ha ok I said the last sentence to get the for ambiance. But in all seriousness- Great service and quality meats, chickens and fish.

Their meats are good, but prices are super high considering their meats are not organic, pasture raised. Skirt steak which is not an expensive cut, it's $26 or $27 per pound, more than organic or pasture raised at other places. They also only carry Mary's chicken, nothing special about that either, as it's sold in every market. I wish they would bring local meats and poultry from smaller organic ranches or farms, at least that would justify their high prices.

This is a great meat butcher/market inside Cal-Mart. Occasionally, I like to come here and buy a whole chicken so I can break it down like a certain loud and profanity-laden British celebrity chef. I love to make chicken soup and stock. I also really enjoy how knowledgeable and nice the staff are here. Is it a bit pricey? Yes, but the quality is there.

My friend and I went here on his request. He said they had the best Turkey sandwiches on the coast and they didn't disappoint. For $10 you can get a sizeable 7-8inch sandwich on a variety of different breads. I of course got Dutch crunch. Their Turkey is rotisserie style which makes it nice and moist. When they make the sandwiches they take the Turkey down and carve out the meat right then and there. The quality of the ingredients is so good and their mustard has a nice tang. I was very impressed. With the sandwich I got some of their pasta salad and a cookie. Both were really good. This is a grocery store and was a lot larger than one might expect. I would deff go shopping here and get a sandwich. They have cute tables outside so you can eat in the sun or shade and lots of parking out front on the street.

Leave it to Groupon to show me a place that I have never been to, and a deal worth buying. So I found this deal on Groupon for their meat department and decided to check it out. Due to Covid-19, there is a rather long wait whether you want to buy groceries or just go to the meat department by itself. But, these are the times that we're living in. Once you get inside the meat department as well as the sea food and culture department are on your right hand side. They all look very fresh and it's a great little meat shop within the grocery store. It was a great find by Groupon. I picked up a nice rib eye steak and some great lamb chops and I have to admit that the service here was quick, the meat was fresh, and if I live close by I would definitely come here more often.A shut out to all the Grocery store employees, and local butchers whom I thank for literally helping me put food on the table!

I was looking for a well-seasoned ground meat to make homemade, stuffed cannelloni and wow, Antonelli's delivered. From air-chilled Mary's organic chicken to beautiful triple thick, bone-in pork chops and gorgeous cuts of salmon and snapper, these guys have you covered.Previously, I've ordered Marin Sun Farms shanks for bone broth and this shopping trip, Caggiano, a flavorful ground lamb sausage with pork, arugula and red wine. With ricotta, onions, garlic and chopped fresh basil, it made a truly spectacular filling for cannelloni. At $10.99/lb. that ground lamb sausage was a splurge but totally worth it! And, I only needed a pound to make 5-6 delicious dinners. The butcher offered to take off the casings so it was fast and easy to unwrap and brown. Don't wait until you throw a dinner party or holiday dinner: Treat yourself to the fantastic meat & fish at Antonelli's, inside Cal-Mart market.Life is short; when you have a few dollars extra, splurge. It's especially sweet when you share with friends or neighbors. And the adjacent bakery has heavenly, all-butter baked goods.Abondanza! Enjoy every bite.

Had a Groupon, so I crossed town to purchase some lamb chops from Antonelli's. The meat in their case looked good but a little heavy on the fatty side. The guy who served me could have been friendlier. He was very terse and not helpful at all. He initially tried to sell me more meat than my Groupon would cover, so I asked him to make it as close to the amount of the voucher as possible; I agreed to an amount that was $1 more than my voucher. After he packaged and labled it, he asked for an amount that was $13 more than my voucher. I asked him how it came to be that much. He seemed annoyed and took it back to reweigh it; he had entered the wrong code. Anyone can make a mistake, but there was no apology and he was rather surly, so the whole experience didn't sit well with me. Even though their meat and other items looked good, I don't think I would cross town to patronize them again.

Prices are outrageous compared to other places. I bought some chicken wings for stock the other day and when I unwrapped them, they smelled foul (pun intended).I asked the gentleman how old the chickens were (and wings) and he said they got them in that morning. Either he was not truthful or they had been sitting around the chicken processing center. I'm not impressed by the service or the quality. This place is resting on its laurel (village).

We ordered a organic Turkey from here. It is the best turkey we have all ever had. It looked like it was out of a magazine after we cooked, it and it tasted better than any Turkey I have ever had, and I've been having Turkey for over a 1/2 a century. So i'm one old bird and this is one great meat market. I live in San Diego and we had the bird sent down. Worth every penny. Moist, delicious and SO good.

Always stop by here when I'm in the area! It's my favorite neighborhood staple and a pleasure to go in. The gentleman behind the counter is very knowledgeable and I can't wait to be back :)
