Good for what it is! I'm grateful for this little neighborhood market where the owners are always friendly. Per other reviews, it may not be your place if you're looking for a large array of fresh produce, snacks, etc. But for me, it does the job! I live down the street, so its convenience is what I like to come here for. To be honest, I mostly keep coming back for the Philippine mangoes (which are actually hard to find at your typical grocery stores)! They're ripe. I can also always sift through the produce to find "just good enough" lemons, cucumbers, oranges, and bananas so I can't complain. :)*They take card too!

I've been coming here almost everyday for the past 2 years and I can definitely say this mom and pop shop is definitely worth while than going out of your way to the closest super market chain. They offer fresh sandwiches, fresh pan (bread) and other baked goods. Tamales are amazing, various Mexican candies and pastries, a wide variety of refreshments, quick mixings to make burritos, tacos, soft tacos and other Mexican yummies. Fresh fruit and veggies. There's also a lady who buys the carrots here and makes carrot juice, if you're lucky enough she might have extra for a sample =) On occasions they BBQ in front of the market and share with the local neighborhood. I will definitely support this local market. I love the weekends when they have some hyped up music with smiles all around. You can't go wrong with Ana's MarketAna's Market you ARE the business!

This place is very convenient. It makes my shopping A LOT easier since I just live one block away. I could not be happier knowing that I can just walk to be able to get here. :) Owners are super friendly too!!!

Ana's Market, is a mixed store of groceries, deli, check cashing, money orders, and oh yeah an access point to pick up mail. I just found it kind of strange that this is where I pick up my package. The man work Ling the front here did card me was very inquisitive to see if I was the real person which I kind of respect because I wouldn't want my package going to somebody else so he was doing his job so I give this place for stars.

The worst, tasteless, produce in SF. Oranges w/out flavor, carrots blighted w/ black rot, clearly inedible, green chili peppers dried out, peaches hard and tasteless, fetid bagged spinach wet w/ slime. The merchants are as ghastly as the produce. Fresh is not about their produce only their attitude.

Wonderful neighborhood corner store. Sometimes has the ripest most perfect avocados. Also has wonderful produce. This is a great and much needed market in this neighborhood and the owners are very kind.

Ana's is such a nice little mom-pop market. They carry a pretty nice vegetable selection which is fresh if you get there on the right day. You certainly can't beat their prices (5 limes for a $1) and the convenience is great. What they sell as "ground beef" is really beautiful thin cut steak for carne asada. In fact, they have just about everything you want if you're looking to make a good, healthy Mexican meal including fresh cotija cheese and sometimes home made tamales. Ana's has saved me from plenty of Safeway trips - in fact, there are items that I choose to get at Ana's rather than Safeway. Last but not least, I want to say that the owners are friendly, always remember me, often willing to toss in an extra apple or bell pepper, and don't complain if I bring in the dog.Three stars not four because sometimes the produce isn't so great --but hey, sometimes it is!

The only reason why I have to rate this place low is because the lack of selection reduces its usefulness by a lot. I have been to this grocery store a few times and they are excellent for a few reasons and not so excellent for a few reasons as well. I love that they are convenient by location but they are not so great on hours. They are generally really nice but don't seem to understand what I am talking about very often. They have excellent deals on bananas and bread but things like meat and dairy are rather expensive.

Terrible produce. Save your time/money and go somewhere else. I've heard that if you catch them on the right day their produce is alright but this is mainly a produce market. You'd think they'd try to keep at least that freshr. Selection is also pretty limited. No thanks.
