Amity Market has no noticeable name anywheres on it's building. even the number (3350) was difficult to find. unnamed store, unpriced brews, 6 paks sales only. no big bottles sold. just a few mex and big brew singles available. found name on yelp app.brew: New Belgium (i.e Coors) Dayblazer, easygoing ale, 24 oz, 4.8% abv (2.5).-smooth, bland microbrew with a bitter finish. in general, i avoid New belgiam brews.partly due to past coors connection, mostly, beers are so blah ala coors, bud..would be done better with a pbr.take outs:-didn't see cashier or anyone when i entered. didn't bother to look. was eyeing layout of store, specially where the beers were.-see plenty of 6 paks, unpriced. sign says 6 pak sales only.-cashier was there when i was ready to cash out. "surprise. surprise".doubtful return.

Amity is an outer Taraval staple. If you're looking for organic oat milk and artisan cheeses, you're in the wrong place, my guy. You want smokes, booze, and questionable colored contact lens that will surely give you an eye infection? You found the right place.Amity is legit a community store...if you're from this community.

This place is awesome. A true bodega: say it with me now- Bo. De. Ga. They got beers, chips, and all your other corner store necessities. If you want a fresh fruit bowl go elsewhere. Open everyday till 2am.

I've lived in the neighborhood for about a year now and one of my favorite things about it is living near his little corner store. The staff is super friendly and they have an excellent selection of craft beer and favorites too. I have also come here for random grocery's and they have a nice selection too. Reasonable prices and always convenient. The other reviews seem dated because they accept debit card and I've never noticed a problem with the fridge.

I'm still living at the same place when I was 5yrs old since 1985 and I had (2) choices of Quick Market Liquor Store. Great Highway Market & Amity Market. I use to not like Great Highway, because the Chinese Guy was rude and he said he charges tax, DUDE, hide it in the price. So I would go to Amity for my quick candy fix hahaAmity use to be MUUUUUUUUUUCH better when I was in Middle School/High School. They have video games and more traffic. The last time I went in looking for a Monster Energy Drink, not only didn't they carry it, they had Rockstar and all their drinks were all over the place in the fridge, not organize at all. You have all these guys gambling in the back and the dude behind the counter has HECKA pr0n. I wonder why he has soooooo much back there and all scattered around.Their products are super old and the store is hecka dusty.Amity Market...you need to revamp and organize your store, or it won't last.

Stay away. I've lived in the area for almost 10 years now and this place has just gotten worse and worse and worse and worse. They CONSTANTLY gamble in here, which doesn't bug me, except when you want to check out and they don't want to lose their mahjong hand. Oh, and if you're lucky, you can catch them watching porn from time to time behind the counter. I'm so frustrated shopping here I actually created my yelp account to post this. The "refrigerator" is questionable for the milk it holds and there is ALWAYS dust on the canned/jarred sauces/food.All in all, I'd say go hit the Noriega Produce Market on 46th and Noriega. The guy that runs that is awesome and deserves your business.

I am now 60 years young. When I was 12 years old Amity was the place to go to get beer, wine and hard liquor! They should have a microwave with food you can reheat.
