Great ambiance, service, and most importantly food!Walked in on a busy Friday night but we were still able to find two seats at the bar. Our bartender took our order quickly in between mixing many of their signature pisco sours. We ordered one ceviche and three share plates, which was plenty of food for two. The halibut ceviche and tomato bomb salad were particularly delicious, but the shrimp toast and crab were also very well composed dishes. We will definitely be returning.Altamirano is a gret addition to the west Nopa neighborhood. If you're in the area, stop by!

How nice to almost have the whole place to yourself and just a bartender serving it up haha. Nicely crafted drinks and they were delicious. Time just ticks away when you're with good company here! Hope to come back another time to explore their food side! Staffs were friendly and thanks for answering our curious question about wines!

Maracuya Pisco Sours: 4/5 Pretty solid tasty drink that's on the sweeter side. Ferrenafe Crab: 1.5/5 The purple potato didn't have much taste to it. The crab was also a bit salty. Crab Ravioli with squid ink: 5/5 crab flavor tasted a lot better, squid ink flavor was not there though. Arancini Criollo: 3.5/5 I like the crunchiness and the lamb wasn't bad.. Thankfully it was not gameyArroz Con Mariscos: 3/5 Portion was good for two, a lot of seafood. Flavor on the rice was light but if you're expecting more of crunchy rice then this dish is not for you because the rice is quite moist. Churro Sandwich 5/5 The dessert over all wasn't too sweet and the churro had a nice crunch to it. Service was strong at first but then kind of lacked towards the end.

Wow, we loved the food flavors, especially their sauces! There isn't one dish sauce that we didn't like. The whole fish was delicious but a little dry (probably as we scooped up all the sauce!) so we asked for more and they brought a big bowl - so generous and very accommodating, thank you. What a fun place with great vibes!

I can't overstate how phenomenal the Tomato Bomb Salad is. It is aesthetically delightful and the taste absolutely lives up to the design. The "form fits function" nature of the bomb being stuffed with pesto quinoa is entertaining as a "choose your own adventure" eating experience. Even though the presentation shows the disparate elements, the combination once mixed together is superb. I'm looking forward to coming back. The service was very warm and efficient without feeling rushed. Also, they had a killer playlist heavily featuring Fleetwood Mac. A big win all around.

I went to visit during restaurant week and I was so happy to get a opportunity to try it out. The location is beautiful, a bit loud so definitely hard to have conversations. Service was wonderful, our waitress, waitstaff, just everyone was lovely and attentive.We opted for a prefix and added some items. We loved all our plates, we wish we would have also ordered the lamb chop. It looked fall off the bone and everyone mentioned how tasty it was. I would say pass on the churro dessert as I felt the churro was more doughy than I enjoy but does compliment the pistachio ice cream.I would 100% come back to try more plates.

This place has so much potential. Their food is spectacular, and their drinks are amazing. I think since they had just opened a couple months ago, they're still working out some kinks. All of the food was delicious! The chips & dip were amazing to start, and the baos, shrimp toast was awesome! Drinks were a little sweet for our taste, but still not bad. Ambience is incredible, beautiful place! Service at the bar was a little slow, and a few minor misses for a fancy restaurant! Like not giving napkins with drinks, etc.

On our first visit, we Cerebrated two birthdays on a Saturday night. We made the reservation a couple of weeks in advance for a party of 5. There is indoor and outdoors covered seating with beautiful fire pit in the middle to gather around while waiting. We were promptly seated and started with drinks and appetizers. All I can say is wow!!! The combination of food, presentation, unique flavors and colorful display of food makes for an unforgettable meal. There was not one entree that we didn't enjoy!! We ordered 9 entrees (they are tapas style and small) and two desserts for a party of 5 and it was plenty of food.Will definitely come back again and try more of their entrees in future. Love love love this place.

I went here for restaurant week dinner last night with some friends and oh my God this place is amazing. All of the food that we ordered was so delicious. I already cannot wait to go back here. What we ordered: ladies night out cocktail, sashimi, Dungeness crab, lomo saltado, lamb, churro sandwich and crème brûlée. The crab and lamb were definitely the two stand out dishes. The crab came with a delicious purple potato immersed in a yummy sauce. And the lamb was soo tender. It's a huge portion too. Might've been the best lamb shank I've had. The churro ice cream sandwich was also soo good and creamy. It's a very unique dessert option. Our reservation was at 7:45 but we didn't get seated until close to 8:15. I think they were a bit behind schedule and extra busy. Hopefully that's not the norm. Overall, we had a wonderful time despite the long wait.

Sooo amazing!!! Had to write my first yelp review because seriously the food here is incredible! Service was great and so accommodating! I recommend the ahi ceviche and tres leches cake but you really can't go wrong.
