When you run out of garlic at home and run low on light soy sauce, where would I go?Yes, this is the answer for me on Sunday Labor Day weekend morning. I typically avoid shopping on Ocean Ave since parking can be challenging. With the gentrification of the neighborhood and the influx of Chinese businesses to cater those who live in the area, the foot traffic and business atmosphere has starkly improved in recent years. Used to be, my only reasons for coming to Ocean were McD's, CVS (now closed), and, back in the day, Church's Fried Chicken (long gone and missed).I found parking about a half a block away a little after 9 am and walked by several businesses that were mostly closed or about to open, restaurants and a hardware store respectively. As I walked in, I noticed the butcher counter to the left and some self-serve refrigerators across with bottled goods on shelves just above them. There is only one aisle to the right and the cashier counter is to the immediate right by the window. In shopping here, do be mindful of your surroundings as they are often restocking the meat counters and fish tanks as well as hauling ice. I found my two shopping items within three minutes and was out of here in about five minutes. A gentleman was buying a couple of live fish, likely for a restaurant as he requested a written receipt for tax reporting purposes.I came here once a few years ago on a holiday to buy something that I needed to cook lunch so it wasn't my first visit. The left gated area (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=x5Zw2VaalFAYeHDrKaAnhg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) seems to be their warehouse/storage area. Thank you for saving me a drive to Chinatown or Daly City. In a pinch...

It's a small Chinese supermarket but quite convenient for me. Workers are friendly ,I haven't seen any bad attitude so far.

Whenever I'm at WF, they never have what I need. (haha T.T)But alas, All Fresh Market is here to the rescue. It sucks having a language barrier, but there's a younger employee (or owner?) who translates sometimes. He helped me choose a meat. I was looking for flank steak, but he recommended one of the wagyu's. My recipe needed flank steak and none of them were quite what I needed, but I gave in and bought one anyways because of how beautiful the marbling was. Great meat quality and great price. I'll definitely buy my hot pot meat here. They even have veggies, fishballs, and hot pot bases for sale here. Some items are a little pricier, but what can I do when I don't want to drive further in search of better deals :/They also prefer cash and if you must use your card, you need to spend $20. (I need to start carrying around cash...... because I always end up having to add more to what I actually needed in the first place--usually only needed one small item smh.)

Basic Chinese grocery store on Ocean Ave. Has fresh meat, fish, produce and a few shelf stable cooking ingredients.-1 star for the grumpy attitude by the fish guy towards another customer who only asked for help to pick the freshest fishes.-1 star for not bagging the fresh fish, it was missing from our bags and we didn't notice until we got home. I couldn't get through on the phone to get it straightened out.

I was walking to Ming Kee to buy BBQ pork when I saw the grand opening sign to All Fresh. I popped and in and notice there is a huge display for meat and fish. There is also a limited condiment and groceries on the shelves. Veggies display is small but the price is better than what you get at 99 Ranch. The veggies appear to be fresh as well. I picked up some broccoli and in the frigerated section, fresh egg noodle sold by the pound. These are bagged in nameless plastic bags. Noodles are sold for $1.99/lb. Cheaper than the pre bagged New HK Noodle company ones. The noodles also aren't a stuck together mess. Not sure if they take credit card because I paid with cash. A good local resource for groceries.

"All Fresh" market? I don't think so. Luckily I only needed a few ingredients. Their red bell peppers especially was all shriveled up. It's a small store so don't expect to find everything here. They have wagyu beef sliced up and displayed as soon as you walk in. There's only 1 cash register. Cash preferred.

The worst experience I've ever had with a Chinese supermarket. Great deal, amazing boss but shitty customer service. The guys working in the seafood department were treating customers unequally and refused to open up the shells for me since they were on sale which I understood; however, he just opened them up for another lady in front of me. Add to that, the guy who worked next to him said, " Just go, he already said no." After I experienced all of those, the lady who worked at the cashier spot was even more rude, I only asked if the bag cost any extra since I had my bag, she rolled her eyes at me and said, "You wanna pay for it right?" Bruhhh all I need it's a yes/no, ain't your shitty attitude. Their boss is been nice online and I hate to write down such a bad review but the customer service needs to be addressed 100%.(even the supermarket in Chinatown has better customer service than here Jesus Christ)

Meat and produce 's quality are ok. But this one start review is for the cashier, and would like to rate 0 start if is available on YELP. The cashier lady with glasses in the front is impatient and rude whenever you take to her. This is not just a one time experience but multiple time suck experience. Definitely , this cashier need to have customer services training ASAP unless the store or her not care about customers!

Wow! I heard this place been around but they never sold hotpot quality meat until a few months ago. The guy behind the meat cutter is so cool. He knows his meat and is very honest. They have all diff type of quality meat. Of course being curious, I bought one of each. They also have beef tongue which I didn't take a photo off. Let's start with the price and quality of the meat. $11.99 is the lowest price but it is very very good. Not as fatty but very soft. The $16.99 I think it's the best deal compare to the 21.99 and 29.99. The two highest has a nice fatty and soft springy texture vs the 16.99 is also fatty but soft melt in your mouth. So it really depends on what you like. Ohh and their Lamb is soooo good. This is my new to go place for hotpot quality meat. Now why I said the guy is cool and honest. Theirs 3 well known places to get good hotpot meat. So the meat fish market on Irving gives you the good quality on top but when you reach below it, it ends up to be not what you paid for. The Hmart is good but pricy. Last the Chinatown called gold trading company was my #1 favorite place but it's all the way in Chinatown which parking is hard and crowded. Now this place...wow. The guy is really nice and explaining about each of the meat quality. The reason I said the word honest was because I said I'm buying for pho noodle soup and most people would say buy the expensive meat. He goes " oh noodle soup don't need expensive but only good quality slice meat and told me to get the cheaper meat". what he said is true. I did buy two tray of the $11.99 and I just can't help it but I also got 1 tray of the $21.99. Their market isn't big and doesn't have everything yet for hotpot but enough for the basic. They also sell fresh seafood. Overall this is my number 1 place for hotpot meat here on. So glad I live close by. I definitely recommend this place. I wanted to keep it a secret just for myself , my friends and family but I did teach my kids sharing is caring lol. So here it is folks. You won't regret. Great quality hotpot meat for a great honest price.

It appears the owners of Power Trading Company retired and sold their business to new owners. The new owners spent months deep cleaning and remodeling the store. The store is very clean and I hope it stays this way in then long term. They offer a variety of fresh meat and seafood. I noticed they offer a huge variety of Wagyu on a whiteboard, but we have to wait and see how well it sells in this neighborhood. There's also a selection of spices and sauces available and frozen food in the freezers. With the market being in the grand opening phase, I hope they are successful in the long term, as it gives us another option to support small businesses and as an alternative to Whole Foods. Overall a good addition to the neighborhood.
