26th & Guerrero Market

Been a regular loyalist for a decade and a half already. That said, we were all really shaken to feel the depths of our sincere gratitude for them when one of them narrowly escaped serious, potentially life-threatening injuries when a car drove into the front of their building!! It's truly miraculous that the debris of projectiles sent exactly in his direction missed him entirely. As for a review: they've always provided excellent service, very attentive; shelves cleanly stocked clearly organized; they carry a perfect selection of the finer things to treat yourself, but also, most basic necessities to save you a longer trip to a bigger, less neighborly supermarkets (ahem, you know the ones). Bonus, they always have interesting music on, or else the latest performance of 4'33" by John Cage on a loop, which is so avant-grade for a shop like this, it's totally in keeping. Wow. They're simply the best. Of course, the women who once worked the counter relocated and are missed, however, the remaining cohort are each also awesome, and btw, very talented artists and musicians who daylight as shopkeepers because the arts in this expensive city can't pay enough to live from. And to whoever made threats against them because their upstairs neighbor had a flag protesting genocide in Gaza, 1.) that is another tenant in the building; and 2.) get a clue and a life you fascist!

Wow! What a great selection. Organic and all the high quality brands I usually buy. Produce is fresh. Open long hours. Prices on many items lower than Whole Foods. Convenient street parking. Highly recommend.

I'm highly appreciate their parking floor, well maintenance and management too, don't have jam and didn't waste time! There are everything is available, just completed 80% of my wedding shopping from this market in short time. Because of Guerrero Market i saved lots of time and money too as there is fair and reasonable price for everything. I'de highly recommended this place to anyone!

I used to live by a very sad corner store that sold only junk food and liquor, and so now I'm absolutely ecstatic to be just a block from 26th and Guerrero market, which is the exact opposite! They have all of the essentials, including great produce, lots of organic options, craft beers, and Acme bread. The owner is always super friendly and nice and everything is reasonably priced too. Such a gem for the neighborhood.

This is the best corner market I've found in the city. It's like a mini Rainbow or Bi-rite in that you can find the same interesting and high quality products, and prices are comparable/the same. Never a line, always convenient. Love the neighborly feeling of the place and the owners.

Fantastic selection, so organized, nice staff who often play great music. We're a vegetarian family who love to cook and it's a boon to have this small store two blocks from home, with all kinds of organic and specialty ingredients in addition to the basics and a good wine selection. It recently changed ownership and they didn't miss a beat, wisely holding on to experienced staff who did the buying and know what their customers want. Of course it's going to be higher priced than Rainbow Grocery or Safeway - it's doesn't have the economy of scale of a big store - I get that. We love our corner store!

Everything here is way too expensive. Go two blocks down the street to buy groceries for half the price. They close at 8:30pm btw not 9

A mini Whole Foods without waiting in line. This store has it all with great prices . Owner is super friendly and really gets to know his customers. Will continue to give this establishment my business!
